I may wish to join this "blue-collar elitist" cult. Where might I find more information about it?

Get in your car, drive away from civilization, and look for a bar with peeling paint and a neon Budweiser logo in the front window.  There will be rusty pickup trucks outside, and at least one of them will have a dog tied up with baling twine in the bed.  There will be guns in the rear window, and probably at least one Confederate flag visible.  When you walk in the bar, it will smell like stale smoke, and there will be a spittoon somewhere.  The jukebox only plays country music.  Everything will be sticky.  The bartender is surly, and your beverage choices will be Budweiser, Miller, PBR, Busch, Jim Beam, and Jack Daniel's.  When you have found a place that meets these requirements, you will have found the blue-collar elitist cult.

Oh my God. That is truly my vision of hell on earth.

I'm finding it incredibly ironic that it either refuses to capitalize the 'I', or leaves it out of the sentence altogether, but is so obviously full of self importance.
Why this aversion to giving the personal pronoun it's proper due, while insisting on special treatment for itself?

There's no apostrophe when using the possessive form of the word "it".

I dropped Fresh Mountain into the Saves folder, loaded it up, and it worked perfectly. Moved in a family of four into one of the houses (Octo-Mom Minus Many), moved some furniture around, got the dad a job and sent the mom to the bookstore, because that's always the first place to find when you move, right? No trouble whatsoever.

This game might--might--turn out to be tolerable after all!

Hm.

I did a search, and didn't find any of that file.

I do always have AVG running, so if it occurs again, I'll try turning that off.

I nuked the neighborhood anyway.  Grin

I started a Legacy Challenge in Belladonna Cove. Now, normally I get cheesed off or just bored, and don't get past the 2nd gen in a Legacy--or I install a new EP and forget to back up.

But this time I did everything right. No hack conflicts, no new CC at all, and it was going along swimmingly. I got my founder her LTW, and she got a platinum grave. 2nd gen was moving along nicely--got the heir and a spare through Uni, married both off and started Gen 3.

And then it started. One of the Gen 3 kids made friends with Gallagher Newson. All well and good, but when it came time to transition to teen, Gallagher did the whole transition thing, but stayed in a child's body. He was just a friend, so I thought it odd, but not important.

Moved the Gen 3 kids to Uni, and brought Gallagher along. When they arrived at Uni, they did not age up to YA. I aged them up with the Sim Blender, and Gallagher STILL stayed in a child's body. I aged him down to child, then back up. Nothing.

Why are my Gen 3 people not aging??

Problem appears to be solved. And yes, I believe it was CEP-related.

Thanks for all the help!

Sigh. I updated CEP, and thought that had solved it. I got about 4 pages into the section, and then it crashed.

There doesn't appear to be anything in that section that I can't live without, but it's annoying. And I'm having a hard time finding a good ARR BV.

Thanks for the advice, though. I updated SimPE while I was at it.

Nope, that didn't fix it. I took out every scrap of CC and if anything, it crashed faster.
9  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Decorative items crash game on: 2008 November 07, 22:10:00
I recently installed an ARRd version of Seasons, and ever since, clicking on the Miscellaneous tab in Decorative Items in Buy Mode (or the All tab in the same section) crashes the game. All content was working fine till installing Seasons, it appears to be an item installed with Seasons that is causing the problem.

I have SimPE but I have used it very little so far. I'm not comfortable with it yet, but I'm willing to learn. Is there a way I can use SimPE to look through the catalog and possibly find the borkified item?
