TS3/TSM: The Pudding / Pudding Plots / Re: Quail Hollow - No CC House

After taking Witch's & Kyna's advice, I decided to revisit this house. In case anyone is interested I thought I'd tack it on to this thread rather than create a new one for what is basically the same house. I rebuilt Quail Hollow on a 20x30 lot and I redecorated just a bit. The price jumped, but I figured I'd leave the original house up as the more affordable version. I think the new version is about $43500 unfurnished and about $73000 furnished. Front of house - the outside garbage can is on the right side, behind a bush. Next up is the Second floor from 2 different angles to better show the furnishings. And the First floor. Download

Witch, I was serious about the feedback. Thank You!
I'll have to tweak it a little more and keep your suggestions in mind when I build the next one! I do agree that this is still a little big, but I had noticed some routing "hiccups" during gameplay and I wasn't sure if they were due to too close quarters or just the normal borkedness of Sims 3 so I didn't want to go too small.
(I still play Sims2 so this house was originally built/intended for Sims2 and I adjusted it for sims3. I got tired of seeing a house I liked for one game but not the other so I decided to create both versions from now on.)

TS3/TSM: The Pudding / Pudding Plots / Quail Hollow - No CC House -updated version now included

***Updated version added - see later post***The lots that come with sims3 annoy me with their unnecessary hugeness [they make me think of houses from the original sims]. I thought I'd try my hand at creating a not so frustrating house to play, but as I'm relatively new to this I was hoping for some feedback? I've been playing this house for awhile now and after some tweaking I thought I'd post it here for any of you that are interested. Quail Hollow [the name came from the blueprints the house is based on] is on a 30x40 lot and has been "wanded" to be about $39,400 when furnished and I think around $34,000 unfurnished. It has 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. First Floor - (I just noticed I forgot to fix the back wall after extending the kitchen/dining room floor ) Second Floor Download Quail Hollow Sims3 VersionEdited to Add that I have all EP's & SP's.

My contribution for this month. Forgive the not so good pictures. I upgraded to Windows 7 and now I can't get Gadwin to work anymore. I need to argue with it some more so hopefully it will stop taking print-screens of my desktop. So only poor in-game camera pics this time. Also I have all EP's and all SP's. Front of house Second Floor First Floor File is attached because it was small enough. Open with clean pack installer because I think the phone line controller attached itself again.

Since this house is a big one, and was only going to get bigger, I decided to challenge myself and see if I could modify it to resemble the Shinra mansion. Of course I was limited by the not moving external walls, and no CC but I think it turned out pretty good. <The Shinra mansion on MTS2 bugs me because there is a garage and no basement so I've been attempting to create a more accurate one.> I did not play-test this, but I did force a Sim into it to wander and make sure everything was accessible/usable. I'm back and with more ramz!!! I bring you 25 Pagoda way. I've been downloading things for an asian themed neighbourhood and wanted to attempt another asian inspired house. I still phail at interior decorating, especially with the uninspiring Maxis collections, but oh well. Front; Back; Top floor of the Pagoda (library/reading room); 2nd floor of house and pagoda; 1st floor of house and pagoda; download here: http://www.mediafire.com/?sharekey=c6d09d9a6bb6c22bab1eab3e9fa335ca53df296e50ead8a7I have all EP's and SP's. I did playtest to make sure everything works... the only problem I saw was that the sink in the bathroom of the 1st floor of the pagoda causes a detour. The bathroom is still usable/accessible, and that was the only routing issue so I left it how it was packaged. And when I checked the lot in clean pack I noticed the phone line tagged along.

My computer really didn't like this house -- I needs more RAMS!! (Hopefully I should be getting some soon.) Anyway here is my attempt at this months house. Pictures are not the best -- I got a new mouse and for some reason Gadwin is not working correctly with it. Front of the house, with Side Hedge Maze. Back of the house. Side Hedge maze and pond 2nd Floor; Master bedroom, child/teen bedroom, full nursery, baby rooms, and nanny bedroom. With terrace playground. 1st Floor; Library, Dining room, kitchen, chef/cook bedroom, entrance way, TV room, and child/teen bedroom. I couldn't play-test this because my computer was very unhappy with just the house, I could only imagine how it would do with Sims. So I hope everything is functional. I did test the pool to make sure access to all parts was successful. download here http://www.mediafire.com/?d4y4o4j2mqwI have all EP's and SP's.

I had a few ideas for this house this month so another may be forthcoming. For this one; I decided to mix things up a bit. Entry is on the 2nd floor which is also the living-room area. 1st floor is the kitchen and dining area. And the basement is the master bedroom. I tried to keep the trees in the same locations except were I was unable to, and I switched out the cypress tree for a willow tree. Front of house; 2nd floor; 1st floor; Basement; Download is here: http://www.mediafire.com/file/1d2gq4ztuzf/10 Oak reverse_001.Sims2Pack I have all EP's and SP's. ** Edited to update link to a clean file**

ajcrawly: I've never used those table lamps, but now I think I love them. They are a bit... monstrously huge, aren't they? But they quite compliment the theme of this house. I are liking them! When I play tested and realized how big they actually were I was a little surprised. But after awhile I got used to them and they just seem to fit! On a side note, I realized that I put the pet stuff in the secret room but I don't know if a cat or dog can exit through the secret door. I originally had a crow that I downloaded from MTS2( here; http://linna.modthesims2.com/showthread.php?t=244894) that fit the theme a little better and I didn't mind leaving up there because it was in a "cage" already. So it might make game-play easier if the pet stuff is relocated?

As Witch requested, I furnished my house. I also did a little tweaking after my sister offered me some advice, and after I figured out how to add windows to the basement. ( I like to try to figure things out on my own before I ask how to do it, so the windows in the basement were a little problematic for me- but I got it eventually. (Of course my sister looked at me like I was crazy when I explained how I did it - apparently there was an easier way - oh well!)). I'm not going to re-post pictures of the outside because I didn't change it noticeably. Top floor contains the nursery, the master bedroom, and the master bath. {The bed is CC and is the Round Bed Ginevra by Ronja - www.simenapule.it. I like the way it looks, but unfortunately it eats Sims, so it may not be worth downloading.} (see below) My sister also pointed out since the upstairs is open and noise travels I should put the sound-proof fence around it. But for aesthetic purposes, I didn't. First Floor contains the Kitchen, TV room, and a bathroom for guest usage. Basement contains a child bedroom, a teenage bedroom, a reading area and a bathroom. Download; http://www.mediafire.com/?sharekey=c6d09d9a6bb6c22bab1eab3e9fa335ca53df296e50ead8a7*** EDITED -- For some reason I had a lot of cra....um unwanted stuff with the original pkg file so this house has been tweaked. The house no longer has any CC at all, and there are no longer any tagalong files when you download - except possible the phoneline controller.....
