 Erry, I like the mix and match effect with the windows very nice.

Bliss, I really like the indoor garden idea for this house, I'm going to steal that one. I second the request for the house. You have warned us about the lot.

Chobeegal, the many times I've remade this house the platforms are the first to go. I hate them and the cash from the sale comes in handy for the remake.

 I feel like I'm cheating a bit with this one. It's the house my Curious brothers live in at the moment. All I've done is removed all my lovely CC and replaced it with Maxis crap. I've done nothing to the 'garden' as I phail at outside decoration and just tend to plonk things down as I need them.

This is the front of the house. The lot is a flat as it gets.



Downstairs. It's not Awesomespec because the stairs are open there is, however, a table by the door for the onedesk. As you can see the downstairs has been gutted. There is a small nursery in the old chess room.



Upstairs with four large bedrooms. The nursery has a fridge, sink and counter for smartmilk. Both rooftops are usable.



A couple of pictures of the gutted downstairs, I've tried to keep the same 'feel' to the house, just nicer.






Since I started following these challenges it's changed the way I make over Maxis houses. As I side challenge to myself I now try to follow the challenge rules. I keep the exterior walls and as an added rule if the house is occupied it has to keep to a similar style to the original. It's certainly added interest to my game so thank you for an excellent challenge!

It's a lovely house Erry and I would love to download it but colour me stupid I can't find the download button? The little green, blue and red bundle and the '105 Sim Lane.rar' are not clickable and I can't see anywhere else that might be the goodies.

 Thank you Sluggo. I went ahead and put it in my game. I have Monique's child support mod (AL) and a Multi PT mod and everything seems to be working fine for me too.

I want it both ways. I want something like clicking on the apartment door to turn control on or off and if it's off I want them inactive and blacked out. That would satisfy my inner control freak and my laziness if it was a mega apartment block.

In fact with the danger of gushing I'm downloading and loving all the houses here.

Has anyone else played a rented house on its own lot? I built a town house on one of MaryLou's minilots and changed the lot to apartment. Because it's an apartment lot there is no neighbourhood welcome wagon and because it's a single 'apartment' on its own you don't get the apartment welcome wagon either. Pure bliss.

That sucks. How about using moveObjects and snapToGrid and just placing the windows without walls? Would that work?

I've been following the competition since July but this is my first entry.




It now has 4 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms and a basement.
The cost is 110,417
It's furnished but I've kept the decoration very basic and only staged the living area and kitchen for pictures  because I hate clutter. All the external walls are still there but I did get rid of the fireplaces. The garden is very bare and awaiting the talents of people much better at that sort of thing than me.

Oh sorry but I forgot to change the name of the lot.

In the Green household I couldn't answer the phone until I deleted it and brought a new one - I put the new phone back on the same wall and it worked. No Downloads folder. No CEP extras.
