TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: Finally Installed TS3, and I'd like to know...

If I use the AwesomeMod Config Tool, the tiny file generated is in ADDITION to AwesomeMod, and is obviously not a replacement file, right?
Yeah, I'm stupid, and so is my hat, but I'm trying to make sure my pregnant, tired, stupid-hatted ass hasn't lost the powers of reading comprehension THAT badly before I finally start up my game... lol.
You should be pleased to note, Mr. Pes, that it was AwesomeMod that finally convinced me to get TS3. I really want to test some of the burnination stuff you threw in there! Not even for the game itself am I making this damned effort...

Must I download the EA Download Manager to get the patches?
- Is the EADM safe to put on my computer?
What stupidity should I keep an eye out for? [Both EA's, and my own.]
Aside from AwesomeMod, what would you suggest I do or add to keep my game from going kaplooey?
I've been trying to get through the threads, but some of what I'm probably looking for is scattered, and I don't want to miss something because the thread name didn't tell me that it holds a "randomly helpful post#5," for example.

TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Can Inge's apartment mods be partially combined with Pescado's?

Besides, you get the money back when you leave, so why are you whining? It's not like real security deposits, good luck getting those back. Besides, when you think about it, the fact that you even CAN is a bonus. Originally, you couldn't get a furnished apartment at ALL and had to refurnish the entire stupid thing every time. Also, you are still stupid, like your hat.
Actually, I have yet to move a sim out of an apartment, so I didn't know that they'll get it back. That is dumb. And I like my hat, Mister!

OP: "...TSData/Res/Movies there is an annoying abomination named "ealogo_audio.movie"... Delete them..."
tunaisafish: "You don't need to stop at just the logo movies. Delete that annoying intro .movie too (the one that you probably 'escape' as soon as you see). I can't remember the exact name."
---Is the intro movie this (intro_eng_audio -MOVIE file)? May I delete it?

Each uni spawns its own unique set of Dormies. If you add all three unis, you'll end up with three complete sets of Dormies, SS members, Streakers, the whole bit. You can delete the subhoods, if you don't want to have three uni subhoods, and the Dormies will migrate to whatever Uni is left.
The Bin Sims do get shared between the subhoods.
So for the sake of the stupid (me), I'm just double-checking that it is OK, and not a VBT to delete a Uni hood, just like deleting a shopping district for example - everyone just moves elsewhere. Right? I added all Uni hoods, then felt like it was more than I needed. Can I kill two of the subhoods, without crapping on my game?

Sure. I may not take advantage of it now, but I might want to try later.
Is the neighborhood terrain file a live neighborhood is based upon like face templates? [As in, once it's referenced it's not needed anymore.] Because if Downtown is a terrain that we do not have, and it runs fine, does that mean that I can delete Pleasantview's SC4 terrain for example, and not have the live neighborhood freak out on me?

Can anyone give me a list of which terrain each neighborhood uses? "Pleasantview," "Bluewater," and the other self-titled terrains are easy, but I don't know which one the default Downtown uses for example, and I'd like to cull a few of the Maxis terrains that I never choose anymore. That way I don't have to keep skipping over them when I want a downloaded terrain - I just don't want to delete a terrain I may already be using.

I love Immaculate Zest and The Orphanage- I know where some of my older SimBin couples are going in the UberHood I just downloaded. I never have any good ideas for my elders, I just move them in with Olive Specter and have her kill them off slowly. Muahaha.
This month had some nice stuff. My vote for June is still 407 in Bluewater.

Sorry for the trouble guys - I re-uploaded my file, make sure you use the clean installer and remove the phone line controller (and I think a public phone mesh?). My first house didn't give me this much trouble!

What a lovely house, ciane, and Faizah, I've liked everything I see you post. You both make me sad posting my insanity. Aforementioned insanity: http://www.box.net/shared/pxb9z1ngt5This is my backup copy - I re-uploaded it to the site, let me know how it works. I think that when I removed the phone line controller the first time and hit "Save As," it did a weird thing to the package. I may have misunderstood how to use that option, I do apologize.I created a community lot too. Pics: We have on the right a pool, on the left two hot tubs, and the front entryway is lined with small ponds and a few places for lovers to cuddle. The front hall is done up in flame wallpaper (keep in mind this entire house is an experiment with items I don't usually use, so you'll see mostly the repetitive wallpapers here) and dark wood accents. The white double doors lead to the bathroom, the pinkish-red door leads to the restaurant side. Behind the camera in the left wing we have the sports/birthday party room, brightly colored, probably giving the poor employees headaches after too long in there, hehehe. The room beyond that is what I have nicknamed Hippie Party. Similar purpose as the Sports room. Easier on the eyes though. The last room on this side is the poker room, with beer/snack fridge and good luck frog watching over all gamblers. Muted lighting to protect your cards from sneaks walking to said fridge. Back through the front hall, we now return to the restaurant. More ridiculous colors, but it was a lot of fun to make. Same with the retardedly green kitchen. I think they both turned out rather nice. - - - - - This started out as a residence, and I may yet post the home version of this. I wanted to put this one up in the meantime, for your party-on sims. ---Edited to fix pics.

Oh good, I'm glad I'm not the only one waiting 'til the last moment! I am turning it in a bit unfinished, but I like this well enough to share it with you as is... - - - - - Can't afford a house? Family too large for the average apartment? Try a duplex! It's like having your very own house, right on top of somebody else's!http://www.box.net/shared/295rqjizuk- - - - - Hi guys, I have a modest duplex for your sims- it is still set as residential, because I want you to tweak it to your own standards before apartmentizing it. I tried to keep Awesomespec in mind while I was working. I pulled out my downloads folder to make sure nothing could sneak in, and checked it with the Clean Installer anyway. It is only EAxis stuff, nice and tidy - and I have all EPs and SPs. Space: I didn't set this house with lots of children in mind (but because I inevitably add sprogs to all of my households - there had to be room to grow as well). The secondary bedrooms easily fold up into study rooms, or punched out to be larger entertaining rooms etc. I tried to keep it flexible. Deco: I don't like the Maxis curtains, so I left the windows bare - I also use GunMod's Radiance Light mod, and so I left the lighting simple because I don't know how my setup will look against yours if you don't have it - and I prefer to set the flowers and bed sheets per family, so I left that simple as well. - - - - - http://s18.photobucket.com/albums/b121/pentabet/Sims/simlot25toboggan/?albumview=slideshow- - - - - GROUND FLOOR <cracks knuckles> OKAY! So we have the first floor entryway and living room... As you can see, we have a nice skilling area, with easel, violin, and bookcase. The TV and the desk are separated by a wall that I couldn't get a clear shot of when the walls were up, and the double glass door leads to a short hallway outside. Clockwise from the living room, we have the kitchen. The dark, earthy colors of this room hide any dirt brought in by spawn introduced into the place. How lovely! Continuing our clockwise movement, we have one of two bathrooms on this level, all four bathrooms in the duplex are identical in size and coloring, but two have base game tubs for pets and toddlers, and two have the Seasons curtained shower stalls for children and up. There are two bedrooms for children, set for a boy and a girl. The master bedroom and neutral gender nursery: SECOND FLOOR Very similar in shape, really the only difference is the central hallway and the back bedrooms. - - - - - My favorite part of this house has to be the secret hammock behind the lake. - - - - - Edited because I moved the pics.
