1  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Snapshot Size Adjustment on: 2007 May 08, 22:04:21
Thanks for the reply!  I had not even thought of using PSP for screen captures.  I set it up so that each screen shot I take is dumped into PSP.  Thanks for the help.  Grin
2  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Snapshot Size Adjustment on: 2007 May 07, 22:38:28
I am currently in the middle of making a story and I am not pleased with the largest size of the snapshots taken in game.  Is there any configuration I could edit to increase the size of the snapshots I am taking?  I have looked around but cannot seem to find anywhere that this has been discussed.  I apologize if it has.

I know I could used the print screen function, but that is rather inefficient and a pain.

Any help is greatly appreciated.
3  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Seasons Patch on: 2007 April 07, 02:58:16
I never installed the Pets patch.  I installed Seasons without it and then ran the patch for Seasons.  So far I have had no issues.
4  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: How do you play your Plant Sims? on: 2007 April 07, 02:07:43
I kept spawning plant babies from rose after I got all of her skills maxed.  Once the plant toddler has grown I then move it out and in with one of my regular sims and use them to tend gardens, sell paintings, toys and flowers for extra income.  It works out quite nicely.

The link does not work.

TheISZ is female.

*giggles

I have had a lot of folks think I'm a guy and I never corrected them.  It's one of those things that has never bothered me.  I think it's funny.  Cheesy

So I need to go ahead and bite the bullet and install the Pets patch prior to loading Seasons and hope the fix they come out with will work with Seasons.

Augh, my eyes.
Seasons. No apostrophe. It isn't possessive. Please.

Ok then.  Sorry to have offended you so.  Tongue  All fixed.
8  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: For those of you who wish to UNpatch Pets - Body Shop Patch here. on: 2007 February 26, 21:19:47
Thanks, this is greatly appreciated.  I had removed Pets after the patch fiasco.  Once I reinstalled Pets sans the patch I realized they had taken it down.

Thanks again.

That is what I am hoping for but not holding my breath.  I would think they would need to put out one patch for those with Seasons and one for just Pets because the new EP is coming out before they can patch their patch.  Tongue

Damn, I never thought to just type it in the path field.

Thanks for the help.
11  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Pets patch released on: 2007 February 26, 11:26:11
Exactly.

Theisz -- sadly you're incorrect. Only files directly replaced in later versions will contain the fixes in your case, you will still run into any bugs in other places unless you fix the individual expansions as well.

Thanks for the info.  I had not realized it was setup this way.

So I need to go ahead and bite the bullet and install the Pets patch prior to loading Season's and hope the fix they come out with will work with Seasons.

Pescado is right.  It is most assuredly a "Dumb Isz-type Problem".  I am using ZipGenius and it sucks.  I get weird errors every so often.  I just wanted a utility that handled both zips and rars.  I didn't like Winrar because it does not allow you to create directories like Winzip does.

Does 7-zip allow you to make the directories you wish to extract the files to?
13  TS2: Burnination / Peasantry / Re: Life Stories - Get the Stuffeths here! on: 2007 February 25, 22:06:31
More than likely.
14  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Pets patch released on: 2007 February 25, 22:03:32
Same here. When installing EP's it always say it's up to date even though I have not installed any patches.  I'm not concerned about it forcing me to run the Pets update as it's never done that with any other EP.
15  TS2: Burnination / Peasantry / Re: Life Stories - Get the Stuffeths here! on: 2007 February 25, 21:47:20
Here is the error I got.  It is altogether possible it is on my end.
16  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Pets patch released on: 2007 February 25, 21:41:12
I've already prepped my game for Seasons.  I have removed all hacks and hacked objects and more than half of the CC.  I went through my CC, all 7 gigs of it.  Roll Eyes   I will however be pulling my downloads folder prior to installation.  I am starting from scratch on this one.  I took out all of my neighborhoods so I could start with a clean slate.

Hopefully the less whiny and what's this hacks will work.  Those are the two hacks that I will go crazy without.  I did this with Pets so I could test hacks and I plan on doing that again with Seasons.
17  TS2: Burnination / Peasantry / Re: Life Stories - Get the Stuffeths here! on: 2007 February 25, 21:31:44
I am using Firefox and had to download them all and then start with the first rar file.  I kept getting weird errors when I tried to extract them without having downloaded them all, but I don't recall what the errors said.
18  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Pets patch released on: 2007 February 25, 16:11:53
Hey, I never post over there so I suppose I could do it.  I have never made a topic so what area should I put it?  I'll never post over there so I could care less if they ban me.

Why would they ban me?
19  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Pets patch released on: 2007 February 25, 15:42:04
I uninstalled Pets after the fiasco with the patch and reloaded Pets sans the patch.  I get Seasons this week and will load it over the unpatched version of Pets.  Will this mean I'm screwed or what?

I don't use pets in my game so I suppose it really will not matter.
20  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Pets patch released on: 2007 February 25, 15:36:22
So what happens for those that buy Seasons and had updated their Pets with the broken patch?  You wont be able to install the fix for the Pets patch should they put one out.  You would have already installed Seasons and not be able to patch the Pets patch.

For the love of old ladies having heart attacks!  Oh no, I've gone cross eyed.  Tongue
21  TS2: Burnination / Peasantry / Re: Life Stories - Get the Stuffeths here! on: 2007 February 25, 12:16:59
Oops, sorry.  I must have had my head up my butt and didn't read the thread thoroughly.

Thank you.

What, defense against myself?  Tongue  That was when I was young, dumb and full of myself and made stupid mistakes. Now I'm older, smarter but still full of myself.  Cheesy

I've suffered enough.  I've been homeless on a couple occasion and lost all of my belongings save a suitcase full of clothes several times as well so I'm done with all that.  I'll take the debt any day to have a nice house in a nice neighborhood to live in.

I've been playing for hours and no lock ups.  I did notice something though.  When I place Inge's automatic curtains up the weird streaking blue things started up again.  It stopped after I took them down.  That could just be a coincidence.
