Awesomeware / TS4 Stuff / Re: No Stupid Preload Actions

Maybe? It depends on what annoys me that someone else hasn't already done, because while I will ultimately make my own, I don't tend to publish if someone else already has one. I tend to be rather "not invented here" when it comes to what I put into my own game, though.
I don't suppose you would share your mod folder? I imagine I'd want my game to run/look/behave like yours, and I am just trying TS4 for the first time now. It's pretty overwhelming, looking through all the mods at this point.

Since I use .packages MOST of my store content is seen by the game as unofficial CC (with a "*" icon rather than a store content icon) as it's not installed via the launcher, and not in Sims3Pack form. So do you know if installing the patch through the launcher will be effective or should I use your contentpatch.package instead?

If that's not it, try using just the decrapify function without compressing the file.
Sorry, but how's that done exactly? I would think that would mean dragging and dropping on decrapify.exe, yes? I've tried that - same result. Also when I do decrapify it, the size in KB before and after does not alter. I've made sure to update the tools, and the process works as expected with that greenhouse shit; so I'm lost as to why the Japanese set alone is giving me such grief. If the packages won't open in s3pe you did something wrong, simple as that. Just make sure everything is up-to-date and try again maybe. Are you using the program or drag-n-drop? For the program make sure decrapped is ticked, for drag-n-drop make sure the packs are in the same folder as the .exes and make sure the time stamp on them changed. You don't have to decrap them if you're using packages so just dragging them onto s3cr will allow you to open them with s3pe. Oh well. Like I said, I've done this before. Probably 100 times. Successfully. My usual method - decrapify, extract with Multi Installer, merge in S3PE - continues to works with other Sims3Packs, like the recent Greenhouse set, but continues to fail every time I try to do the same with the Japanese dining set. I already mentioned in the post you quoted that I've ensured the tools I'm using are up-to-date. I've tried decrapifying via the program AND by dragging and dropping. I know decrapify needs to be ticked - as I've said, I know how to do this and it's worked and still works with every other set. So I'm perplexed. But again: Oh well. I can live without it. Or use the Sims3Pack. ETA: Oh, and Baa anyway!

I just decrapified that Japanese cooking store set, then used Multi Installer to make it into .packages so I could merge the set into one .package. I do this all the time. For some reason, though, S3PE won't open any of the extracted packages - due to them being a store item. But I decrapified them. I've been out of the loop for the last few months - has something changed in this process?

I'm surprised Jezzer can even offer you the advice to search moar. Personally I can't even understand what you're asking about, because of all the typos. I'm sure it has butt is spread thinly across loads of threads and posts. Whose butt is spread thinly? Yours? Why? The search feature help buy it can't show the proper order to do these things in. Buy what? This stuff is all free. I ado understand either.

Fuck you, wojtek, you suck and should be ashamed to show yourself in the sims community. Now give me those hairs. I'll spit in your face and grab the conversions at the same time. No respect or gratitude deserved.

I did click the download button. 4Shared never counts down for me unless I switch browsers. So it's probably a conflict with some Firefox add-on. (Skipscreen?) I just don't want to have to dig up IE (*shudders*), create an account, or disable plugins when Mediafire's right there. I didn't mean to belittle your contribution to the cause there Jizzer. I mean, I wouldn't have had the file to put on Mediafire in the first place if I hadn't made an account, switched browsers, and downloaded yours.
@Skadi Which file are you looking for?

Well, it was an idiotic request, and you're kind of an idiot, so I don't know why it would suddenly be beyond the scope of reason to assume that you were serious.
Well, now you'll know for next time that assuming makes an ass out of you. But then, so does all the rest of your hilarious "wit" you mercilessly salt each thread with.

Aye, but in this game hunger and om nom nom drive is one in the same. Sim loses hunger motive, Sim seeks food, even if realistically they may NEED food but not want to eat. What would be cool is a "No Appetite" moodlet where your Sim will reject player's demands to forage and then starve themselves to death in the process.

Where did this person mention pregnancy? The nauseous moodlet doesn't come solely from pregnancy. You've never had a flu before, or food poisoning? One's appetite isn't exactly blossoming when they're hunched over a toilet retching.

I'm confused. At the risk of looking a fool to not understand your colour coding methods, would you please enlighten me?
The little "*" beside "KT_StoreFix_DecrapFixes" indicates this explanation: "Goes into an overrides folder if you use packages." Okay, great, I use packages, so into my overrides folder it goes. But next there's, "KT_StoreFix_Fixes" which has the same explanation only also has the additional explanation of, "*Use decrapped version if that's how you have the original installed." That doesn't mean much to me. Am I supposed to use both, one, or the other? And I take it I'm meant to use "CCMerged_Decrapped" as well in order to sense the full effects of your efforts?

Ok, so my teen sim has a boyfriend a bit older than her. He aged up 20 days before she did (On an epic lifespan) And I wanted them to be together and get married anyway. So I installed Awesome and was appalled when he came over to her house. he flirted with her, she rejected him. three hours later SHE flirted with HIM and that got the ball rolling. Blatantly sexist there I think, but that's not the worst part. So they flirted, they kissed, they kissed again, and the guy is then helplessly dragged off by police. He can't get a job now or visit a school because he KISSED HIS GIRLFRIEND. Please, Pescado, for the love of Zeus, at least make it so the police only haul you off if you kiss a teen on a community lot!
You're supposed to practice paedophilia alone and in a place where no one is watching - like a basement, for example.
