The new build seems stable. The only issue I've found so far is queue dropping when trying to use food synthesizer via clicking the hungry moodlet.

Also, Emit Rellevart or whatever the time traveller's name is, has gone missing! The statue of the Time Keeper in Legacy Park is blank apart from a floating Almanac of Time. There is also now a blank portrait panel in my Sim's relationship panel where he used to show up. Strangely I still have the option to text, call, and invite him over.

Sounds like the old invisible sim bug, it's been in the game for a while. As far as I know sims affected by this are corrupt and you can't really fix them.
I've been wondering - is there a cheat code in AwesomeMod to delete a specific sim from the game?

Not sure if bug or feature, but there seems to be a collective cap limit on some potions. Every sim I played could create several Skill Booster/Potent Skill Booster/Wish Enhancing Serum, trying to create more they would just drop the action after the potion is selected. I tried emptying inventories, replacing ingredients, reseting sims - still the same.

Is this every day or just when they get promoted to the next level? Because that's what happens in my game and has been like that since at least Late Night. I can't remember whether Sims were actually supposed to get a day off after being promoted and that Awesome removes this behaviour or whether it's a problem with the game itself, but work performance should be back to normal on the second day after a promotion.

No, it only happens when the previous shift ends on the same day, promotion or no promotion.
The sim will be stuck going to work until the boss sim shows up to work. I reset the boss sim when they don't show up for a long time in case they are stuck somewhere and that fixes it, though usually they show up after a few minutes and I use that time to "take it easy" to build up fun if they need it since you can't do anything else.

The boss is working fine. It must be tied to the shift spanning over two different days.

I'm also getting lab coat spam from the lab station - a new work outfit being added every time the station is used. I know it's an EA bug, but they never care.

I noticed a problem with the criminal career. When you start working at 9 PM the sim is stuck in "going to work" status and it only switches to "working" after midnight.

I can confirm that the game doesn't crash when story progression and aging are disabled. It's completely unplayable otherwise (5-15 minutes before it crashes).

Sorry if it's a tard question, but since the new downloads won't install even after decrappifying is Recompressor going to be updated to deal with that?

I have no problems installing de-crapified sims3packs.

Oh, nvm. Damaged file. Saw complaints, didn't occur to me this could be the issue.

I've tried it now, but though I'm able to, there are no hair options to choose in any category.

Yeah, I meant it didn't enable the textures to be used on females. Perhaps Pescado meant just the interface.

AM enables body hair for women.

Went back and checked - it does not. Unless you mean some other AM Huh

Body hair is not passed on to children:( I gotta look for a mod enabling hairy legs for women, too.

You think the gloves are surprising - get the dress up box - this is Nicolo Lothario
I thoroughly approve of this dress-up Cheesy Pity they'll fix this in a patch and shove kids back into old stereotypical gender roles.

Could anyone else than Claeric confirm the divorce/break up memory not being shared with the second sim? I find it odd as it's a huge borkness, even coming from EA.

Checked a divorced sim (who didn't initiate the divorce), she has no memory of the divorce. Can't check her ex-husband, though, since he's missing from the game (edit town shows him living in a specific house, but when I switch, he's not there).

I haven't noticed the creeped out moodlet problem with romantic interactions.
15  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: Generations: What Sucks, What's Fucked, and What Did EA Get Right by Utter Luck on: 2011 June 02, 19:00:12
Somewhat mentioned before, but I'd like to add to it - romantic hugging interactions when two sims are gf/bf, engaged or married cause the initiator to jump back. What's funny, it worked normal before I proposed going steady.
16  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: Generations: What Sucks, What's Fucked, and What Did EA Get Right by Utter Luck on: 2011 June 02, 12:17:44
Anyone has the bug in which sims who returned from boarding school cannot get a normal job? Professions still work, but anything rabbithole-bound simply shows no options to join a career there. The newspaper and computer also don't show these options.
17  Awesomeware / AwesomeMod! / Re: Can anything increase gigs? on: 2010 November 25, 18:26:06
I don't see anything in Awesomemod that conflicts with getting band gigs but something in the game must be wrong cause I've had bands in two different cities for some time and they are very well known celebrities and perform often (on their own, not being requested) but they have never gotten any requests to play for money.

Could you add something that would increase the chances of receiving gigs?

This is EA screw up and I believe Pescado has it on his "to fix" list when he deals with critical problems.
18  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: Late Night bugs & annoyances on: 2010 November 06, 22:44:34
When playing Bridgeport I kept getting a sale message without the name of the venue given. Like "there's a sale at !". Just a space, no name. It might be the grocery store, since I believe I've seen the bookstore name show up.

It seems that every Bridgeport save eventually borks up and freezes somewhere in the third sim week of playing. I tried reviving from a save that was from one sim week earlier and it still froze when the game hit that same point in time as before. Anyone managed to play this hood for a long time without issues? (no mods other than AM)
19  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: Is it really my processor? on: 2010 November 05, 18:16:17
Exactly, GnatGoSplat. A single core of that processor might be weaker but there are two cores available. The game would only fail if it couldn't spread its process across both cores, but since it's a fairly new game - it can.
20  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: Late Night bugs & annoyances on: 2010 November 04, 20:27:14
This does seem to be a bug with genetics.

Sim 1 impregnated Sim 2. The next day, Sim 1 was bitten by a vampire. Just a few hours before Sim 2 went into labor, Sim 1 metamorphosed into a vampire. Now, in the relationship tab, the baby's portrait has the border that indicates a vampire. This should not happen.
News flash - sims 3 genetics suck. That's nothing new, there's been adopted children passing their adoptive parents' genes, sims inheriting dyed hair color, even hairstyles. Since the game has no way of distinguishing what is inborn and what is acquired and it generates the new sims's look, traits etc. (except for sex) at birth, this is exactly what was expected to happen.
21  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: Vampires on: 2010 November 04, 10:37:21
What color are your vamps eyes turning? I've seen pics of red eyes but all I seem to get are a translucent blue/grey color.
It depends on the original color. Their eyes become somewhat brighter version of what they originally were.

Growing plasma fruit like any other vegetable isn't "free", it does require a certain amount of work.  And since I'm trying to grow a huge batch of them to make Vampire Nectar out of - I want Perfect quality fruits, which you can't get at the Grocery.  It's a huge pain in the neck, in a non-vampire sort of way.
I was referring to the "raid store for plasma fruit" option. It is free because you don't pay for the stolen fruit. Of course they're not perfect quality, but neither are free handouts, so what are we talking about?
22  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: Is it really my processor? on: 2010 November 04, 01:37:14
Replacing CPU is indeed not hard, just be careful not to scratch it. What they meant is that probably when you have an old enough computer that CPU is causing trouble, finding a decent processor replacement might be a lot of hassle when you're probably gonna need to buy a new computer soon, anyway.
As Patrick said - look up your motherboard model compatibility and buy a processor that's on supported list (if it's not there, it might not work).

I thought minimal requirements for sims 3 were lower than that, especially since it can take advantage of multiple cores (I managed to run it on 3GHz 1 core AMD without trouble). Have you tried googling your FLS problem before you complained to EA?
23  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: Late Night bugs & annoyances on: 2010 November 03, 20:52:33
Have you tried searching the site?  The thread is called Building Your Own Apartments: Late Night. Have a read through that, you might just find what you are after.

My bad. I mostly just read trouble-shooting stuff, and skip the strategies forum altogether.
24  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: Updates folders in Arr Packs? on: 2010 November 03, 20:13:55
I'm trying to free up space on a secondary drive an i was wondering if the Win & Mac Updates folders in the Support folder was really needed when you install the game?
It's not. I removed those and the game still installed. You're gonna need to update manually before installation, though.
25  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: Late Night bugs & annoyances on: 2010 November 03, 20:11:47
Any progress on making the building shells and apartment mailboxes buyable?

As for the truck - the theory with the magic city icon could only be proven if somebody made a custom city type neighborhood. I'm sick of CAW throwing up on me with its bugginess, so I'm not volunteering here.
