Does anyone know if I move my saved sims out of the saved sims folder, to lessen load time and whatnot; will the sims I already created from those pre-made sims, still be "right" in my game?
I don't want to take them out and then go in and the sims I made are all defaulted or missing.
I'm not removing any skins or default replacements, just the premade sim files that you make in bodyshop.
I don't plan on making the same sims over again so having them in bodyshop or CAS is a waste of space and loading time. At least I think so.
I just don't want to bork anything.

My apartments are furnished but the sims are all playable sims, not npc neighbors. I play the different households so I know what they have in there house. One apt lot has fun things outside though. A basketball court, playground and chess table. The sims tend to stay outside a lot... I took out the novanishindormrooms hack and nouniprotect to see if maybe it was that but it's not. So now I am not sure what it is. :/

I have the apthack but it doesn't seem to work. I thought maybe there was a conflict with the uni no vanish in dorms hack but I ran sims2hcdcu and it was all clear.

So, I halfheartedly searched, gave up and decided to just ask.
Is there a mod anywhere that makes neighbors not retarded?
They all stink, piss themselves and never go inside there apartments to take care of themselves.
What gives?
The neighbors are all (for the most part) playable sims and there apartments are fully furnished and functional. They just never use them. I influenced one sim to shower but she used my shower. O_O

I did move my tower away from the wall and I also determined that it was getting a little warm where I have it. My father (computer geek extraodianaire) told me it might be my power supply or my motherboard. But it's been days and nothing has happened. I gave away all my old pc parts (hoarder ) to the "computer guy" down the block. (stupid...)
I am going to try a vanilla game and see if it shuts down. As I recall the last time it shut down I had just set my smooth edges slider all the way up cause I had a "..... moment".
The other time it shut down was when I was quickly flipping through my downloads. I suspected my videocard but meh.
I clean my pc regularly but it's been about  a month so I think I'll look into it. The spot it's in is not very good I figure so I am moving it.
Hopefully it will work out.
If not I will have to wait and let my pops take a look when he gets here next month. Til then I will keep things cool and slow.

I have determined, after trying to run bodyshop and second life. That it is not just my game that is crashing as these two crashed my pc as well, after I cleaned the dust out.
I also smelled something kinda burny.I don't know what it could be though. I am going to "borrow" my husbands video card to test if that is my problem. All of my fans are working fine. I have three, one for the power supply, one in the case for general filtering I guess and one on a heatsink.
Any ideas what the burning smell could be?
Could it be my motherboard or my vid card?

Turns out it was my vid card. Got a new one and sending the other one to be repaired. The fan failed and made it overheat causing the system to shutdown as a failsafe.

What do you suggest I do? Should I get a new motherboard or memory or should I wait it out?

I am so upset about my computer right now. I have no idea why but it keeps shutting off.
I know it's not a "Thermal heating event" or a virus as I ran a full scan last night. It only happens when I am playing my game though.
I cut down my downloads from 8.5gb to 6.77gb. >.>
I also cut back on the hacks and hacked objects I have.
I can play for a little while but then after a while my entire system just shuts off.  No blue screen or anything. When I turn it back on it comes on fine as if I shut it down myself.
No wrongful shutdown messages.
I have no idea how to mimic the event so I am not sure how I can test it to see if it is a download or hack.
Any troubleshooting ideas or advice would be much appreciated.

I don't know why it's acting up all of a sudden. I've had this pc since August and I didn't have any issues with it. I love my pc.

So, I remember when I first got BV, you would talk to the Tour Guide and he/she would give you the tour options, and the "What's cool here?" question. Well the question is no longer available. But when I click on the Charlatan he has the "What's cool here?" option. Now, is this a glitch because of a hack or mod; or is it new to the game from a later expansion, stuff pack or patch?
It's not a totally serious issue, it's just quite annoying. Any input would be appreciated.

Though the original house I found the bug in is fixed, the house next door, literally, has it now. It's like a frickin disease that is spreading.

I downloaded the autoyak with the directors cut and weeded out the hacks I didn't want or need. Also using hcdcu I made sure all was good, which it is.
Is the hack not compatible with M&G?
I thought it was all updated. I'll check again, to see but I'm not really missing it much, it kinda confused me anyways.

I know what it means. I will edit it if it bothers you too much, what I meant there was I had boolprop testingcheatsenabled on (true) and forced the error, which of course told me absolutely nothing. I ran the hcdcu which also told me absolutely nothing. I used clean installer to see if I had any weird phone hacks, which I didn't and then I just went through my hacks folder and figured it out that way.
It was the autoyak hack which I figured out after taking an educated guess and so I removed it. Now my phone options are all fine.
I don't really like that hack anyway, no disprespect to the mod gods here, I'm just not big on the phone hacks only recolors and cosmetic overrides.

I was wondering if anyone else was having this particular problem.
My sims cannot use the phone.
If they pick up the phone they immediately put it back down.
I don't have any phone hacks and I was wondering what the problem could be.
I ran the hack conflict program and have none.
I am posting an error log I got with the testingcheatsenabled hack on.
Any help would be appreciated.

Yeah, that thing is damn near impossible to find. I was able to see two cars and when I put them on the lot with the move_objects cheat it glitched and made the car continuously drive past the lot. O_O
I had to pause and catch it to delete it so it would stop.
Then when my owner went to another lot he couldn't call the cab to go home or walk home. He had to drive the blue van that was mysteriously parked like he'd driven it there when he'd taken a cab. But then when he got to the home lot he got out of a cab. >_<
That was a WTF!? moment.
I will figure it out and get back to you all on what I did.

Did both and no cars in the vehicles section except three custom ones I downloaded from somewhere, a plane, a creepy looking blue van and a convertible purple jeep thing.
I hada car dealership before and it was super successful. Level 4 business in like two sims days actually. But I can't recall what I did. >_<

I have a cemetary but it isn't sim owned. I plan to make a sim specifically to own the businesses that I don't want to be bothered with because I don't like the generic npc run ones.

Literally. I am having a few problems...

1. For some reason in my game no one ever makes it past the damn ticket machine. They hem and haw and finally buy a ticket but then just stand there and don't do shit.
I have a gym and the only thing they do is use the damn treadmill though I have a dance studio section and the other machines as well as a masseuse. I use Paladins employee massage controller to make the employee sims sell/give massages so that is working alright and I nixed the buying towels and body stuff because... well cause it was annoying as hell having them all wanna buy junk and nothing else.
Is there a way to make them do other things? Like use the ballet bar in the studio or the other machines and exercise bikes, then maybe take a shower and have a drink from the juice bar?

2. Also at my nightclub they don't come in to dance and have drinks. They stand around the ticket booth after buying a ticket and do nothing. It's so annoying. I hope it's not the whole greeting thing. That shit sucks.

3. I have a restaurant and they act retarded when they see a booth. Everyone wants to sit at the same damn seat in the four seater booth. And barely anyone sits at the bar. Idiots! >.<

4. How can you make sims listen to a band playing while on a stage without them actually trying to go up on the stage? I put a door that only allows employees but when I have a sim try to listen to someone play they wanna get mad cause they can't go through the door? What gives?

I apologize for the length of this post, but I've been trying for like, 3 months to get this shit  to work and I am just so frustrated. Maybe you all can give me some advice or tips about what to do. I've tried several hacks but they didn't work out right. The BRY one you have here is slightly confusing and the links for the hacks you need to go with it are broken. I tried to use it but it just made things worse and it messed up my landlords on the apartment lots, made them act like visitors. I am at the point where I'll try anything, even burning down the stores for the insurance
Any help would be appreciated.

Oh...I do have that. I'll take it out and see what happens. I actually hadn't thought to take out my downloads and try an outing because I thought it was a AL glitch or something. As to the debug mode thing. How do I tell if it's in debug mode? I don't play in debug mode but for some odd reason when I click on a sim it gives me the "DEBUG: Superduper Hug" option. None of my hacks are conflicting according to the hcdcu, and when I took all my downloads out and ran the game clean it still gave me that option on a sim menu. I thought it was a al glitch. Cause, you know. AL is weird.

Anywhoo.
Has anyone else had a problem with the groups? And I do not mean social groups.
I invite people to join a group or try to meet a group of friends on a community lot to have dinner or something and they all freeze up. They literally just stand somewhere.
