TS4: The Pee-ening / Insert Amusing Name Here / Re: Mouse settings

Well, I did some more research and found out that if you press CTRL+ right button in TS3 camera mode you can change the inclination up and down. It's a way, but I rather prefer to set the wheel up. So, I'd appreciate any suggestions.

I know, I know... retard question... But I give up. I can't figure it out by myself. So, please, I'm on my knees, begging for help.
How do I set the Microsoft Wireless Mouse 2000 wheel to incline the camera in the game? I'm getting claustrophobic without this.
And before you ask, yes, I have the game set to TS3 camera.
TIA.

Looks like I have a bad file: "Applying DFC Update for 'Game\Bin\TS3W.exe' Error: err0031 - Invalid file found"
My game is original but patch won't install. Any ideas how could I get a backup file?
Have you cracked the game? No, I use several mods but I took the folder out before patch.

@Jeromycraig I got it! Thanks for caring I'm not sure what to do with all the files in the rar, though. I tossed the hack in the Mods\Packages folder as told. Remaining files are collections in .package and .sig formats. I tried to extract them to Collections\User folder, but they will replace the files that are already there. Is this correct?

Sorry, I think that was too early I was playing the roomates in Twinbrook yesterday. Both are slob. When I click on the floor to clean house this message come up: "Clean House - FindNearestObjectToClean()returned null. I tried again after remove the trait "slob" but the same happened. I'm not sure this is related to your mod. I have only Twallan SP and SC in my folder. Not awesome just yet.

Maybe it will need more testing but every mod in my folder works fine, except for these two: "Same energy for every bed" and "Clean House for Everyone". When I send Sims to Shang Simla there is an ever loading screen. At first I thought that every time I'd get the message "script modifications detected" (or something like it, my game is in Portuguese) it would happen, but I did got the message with Twallan Story Progression ans Super Computer mods, and the destination loaded just fine.

You didn't have any other computers that you could have networked to? You could have installed it from their pc to yours through their drive ....assuming that theirs read it of course. You get a no-cd crack. There is one in my sig, or you can use the AwesomeMod which will also remove the cd necessity.
I only have one PC at home. I tested the disc in my sister's computer and it was ok, but I was afraid I wouldn't be able to play in my computer afterwards, if I had just installed manually. No big deal, it was not that expensive and I was so frustrated at the time that I just wanted to put an end to it. . And tks for the info on the no-cd thing!

Thank you, ZiggyDoodle! I don't think my DVD drive is causing this, because I've already tested it with another game and it installed just fine. Somebody at N99 told me this could be caused by an un compatibility between my DVD drive and dye on disc (dows this make any sense to you, because it's chinese to me, I'm far from being a computer wizard (lol). And that I should update the firmware of the drive. So now, my question is: where do I find the model of the DVD drive, since I have this PC for 4 years now, and can't remember?

All right, I've been trying to get the Razor version downloaded/extracted/working all day (not being that sophisticated, arr-wise), and now I can't seem to install. Couldn't find anyone else having this problem, but hopefully someone smarter than me can figure it out. A minute or so after setup starts, I get this error: "CRC Error: The file C:\Program Files\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3\Caches\Sunset Valley.objectcache doesn't match the file in the setup's .cab file. The medium from which you are running the setup may be corrupted; contact your software vendor." While I commend grammar-challenged EA's attempt at a punctuation with that semicolon, there, I still have no clue what they're talking about.
Cyclic redundancy check. It's trying to verify that the file is correct. I had the same issue. I never fixed it, I just kept pressing retry until I finally just hit "ignore" on the error. It will finish the install. However, I believe that my hood file was corrupted because of that. I had crashing on certain lots and panning across the hood. That was with the reloaded version. I downloaded the Razor version and the new ISO did not have that problem. Replacing the Sunset Valley.objectcache in program files, after you get it installed that is, with another working one that someone supplies you would probably work without you having to re download all over again. Don't know if this is the right place to post, but I'm also having problem with the installation. Only that my game is the official one: I got it yesterday. Tried to install it and it poped up a message of "cyclic redundancy check". I hited ignore button several times. It took hours but never installed. So I thought the problem was the disc. I went to the store today to change it. Tried again to install, but the same message oped up again. So any ideas of what may be causing this?

Double-posting to be sure Aracelis sees this: I inquired of TwoJeffs, and he says Smart Beds does fix the same problem as Pescado's but uses a different method.
Sorry, didn't get what you're saying. Does "Smart Beds" has anything to do with "School bus - bring friend dialog" or alfixes? And if that is so, using a different method means I can use all of them altogether?

AmberDiceless, thank you for your answer. Except from the nasty part, I didn't understand a word of Pescado's reply. I guess I'll have to change the folders, because as you can see at the report, Two Jeffs' hack comes first.
