seasons makes the game pretty dull. The sky is just plain now and the trees have become quite ugly since they've been made more 3d and less clumped together. they are crap for forests now.
I know theres a way to get the cliff textures seen on steep terrain in neighborhood view to appear in lot view but Im not sure how to do it. Castaway stories did it fine. Any ideas?
I get winded listening to nerds complain about grammar. anyway, Would I have to edit every radio or are the pie menus controlled by the stereo globals. I've looked but not found what I'm looking for. Probably should search harder.
I changed the pie menu from blue to red but I noticed that the text is kinda purple but I want it to be white. What controls the color of text in game? I looked in the text packages but no luck
on another note do you know if it's possible to edit the loading screen (not the startup one)
Still doesn't work after doing those things. I have all eps and the story is complete. it now goes to 5 square of loading and actually tells me that the game has crashed.
theres this thing on life stories called bitville mission loader on the boolprop menu. It looks as though I could get bitville over to sims 2 if i could remove that stupid thing. Thing is, I need it to appear. Ive already managed to get the freeplay neighborhood to sims 2 (probably because there is no mission loader) with all walls and objects from LS still there so it should be possible.
I want to get on to bitville but cant be bothered to do half of rileys then all of vincents story just to steal some lots. is there a token or something?
i just shove all my objects in the C:\ ,Program Files ,EA Games ,the sims 2 ,Tsdata ,res ,catalogue ,bins folder and they are treated like official content. works everytime!
Im going to upload them all to mod the sims 2. The moderation queue takes ages though and Im going to update them a bit more and give them much neater textures.
