TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Keeping employees happy

For some reason (I know I read this somewhere, but forget where) I was under the impression that certain skills speeded up the process of earning badges. This was unconfirmed, and untested, so I didn't bother to write down the skill/badge relationship. Does anyone know if this is true? What bugs me is when potential hires with middling skills, but no badges expect outrageous wages based on skills that might help them in a career, but mean nothing to me and my shop. If I want to hire a cashier, why the hell should I care if they have at least 3 skill points in each category and maxed creativity and cooking? Why do they think this entitles them to over 50 Simoleons an hour? A cashier doesn't need to cook, or paint, or play an instrument.

I hate the way the elders look in game. Real 'elders' do not look like that, at least not until the final days. I always age my elder NPCs down to adult, just so I won't have so many elders in my game.

Part of it may be that you let them pay bills. And call a repairman. Once the repoman starts taking things (especially if they are important things) or stupid sims try to make their own repairs (think electrocution) sims are more likely to die. And, once a sim dies, more will. Sims with low motives are very susceptible to being scared to death. Not that this isn't doable, but death is likely. Very likely.

I think it is a descendant of his Self-sim, from what I can remember. Like great-great grandson or something. And yes, I am totally sure of this kid's parentage. I just can't say who they are. Can you tell us why you can't tell us? I honestly did not care who the girl's parents were/are untill you said you couldn't tell us. Now I wanna know.

Okay, quite aware that people could have downloaded it, not liked it, and summarily deleted it, but I'm still quite surprised to see that my little chart was downloaded 52 times (especially with this new census thing).
I realize the above statement probably had little or no significance for anyone but me.

I too vote for forging ahead with the census. It would have to beat my dinky little chart. Everything I would want in it has already been suggested.

Add in LizzLove's autonomous bed and Inge's automatic teleporter shrub and I think some very amusing disasters would be happening. Constantly. You'd need those 3 hours a day just to clean up the mess. Would auto-power idle be legal? Eh, probably not.

Goodness people. No need to get all uppity and flame. If you're getting your teens pregnant, that's your own business.
I asked: What are the benefits of getting your teens pregnant? Answer it.
Not the point. Really...just...not...the...point. The point is different people play their games differently. No one has to answer to you and convince you that this mod is useful. Not...the...point. It is enough that so many want this in their game. Their reasons are their own. Lay off.

You forgot the best part Meek_Monkey. You can choose which of all of the many choices your Ain1 will do as well as the hours of service, or even if she never leaves at all. Also there is no drama. They do what is expected of them, then stand quietly waiting for something else to need doing. With this you can 'cheat' as much or as little as you want. For sticklers, you can even choose to pay her.
