No. It's a marketing tool. An incredibly obvious and annoying one geared towards 10 6-year-olds that could be done once, not every time you play a new lot and the first time you play every existing lot after Freetime was installed. It also sells for $1350, which defeats the purpose of putting a sim in a trailer with a shoddily sodded yard and giving her one pottery wheel with which to support herself.
Yay for jfade.
Thanks Zazazu, I will download the one that he doesn't show up at all. .

I don't have freetime yet getting tomorrow. Just a question does this free computer do anything that is needed for FT that the other computers won't do or is it just a marketing tool for EA for the sims3? So I know which one to download.

Ever since BV any sims that is directed to a double bed will automatically sleep on the right side of the bed. You can not make them sleep on the left side until a sims is sleeping on the right. It's not a big deal, but it bugs me that the first to bed must take the right side unless the sims go to bed at the same time. Is anyone else noticing this problem?

I don't know if this will apply, go to another lot and watch to see if the lost dog shows up outside. If the dog turns up call the dog's owner. I had a lost dog that didn't have a collar on, I don't remember if I called him in as lost, anyway I went to a different lot and there was the dog, I called the owner and he came and got him. You could give it a try.

This game is also a relaxation and "escape" for me. Especially in the building of houses that I can't currently afford, and the manipulation of my little people so that they enjoy their little lives. I am a (usually) benevolent goddess to my pixel people. Some of us are Utopian players, some of us aren't, and there's nothing wrong with either style.
I agree with Neriana, that is how I play ( I have had two accidental death since the start of the Sims 2. One was the pregnecy thing in the very beginning and the other was dying from fixing a microwave. What was real strange with the microwave, I called the repairman after the death and he would not touch the microwave so from then on out I wouldn't have them fix anything, just called the repaimen.) but my 12 yr. old son (when he plays) burn them up, locks them in rooms and lets them go swimming without a ladder. He also make the most god ugly sims just for laughs. To each their own. It's just a game. That's what I like about this game, it's an open end game you play as you like. This game can be played by any age group it just how you play the game that suites you. There are many things that can drive you nuts in the game but all in all the game does have a huge number of things going on at the same time, input from yourself on top of the games input, it really is amazing when you think about it, and with all the great modders out there it's even better.

Ok, I had the water tower no flying pigs. Someone mention windmills nope had those before the water tower. On the other thread about this (there is a link above) SimSherry said about the pet bricks, so I got a pet brick trained it and went to the neighborhood screen (this neighborhood I made not maxis) and sure enough the pig was floating around the water tower. So if this is a clue to the next ep and go as I think I have to give Maxis credit for doing this way it's kinda of fun, because All in All Were Just Another Brick in the Wall. Or I just really need to get a life. So if you don't have any flying pigs put a water tower in and go train a brick.

I had unleashed and like it the strays didn't really upset me, but me being a pet(s) owner it's no big deal. I rather take in a stray pet in the sims 2 than one of those awful townies.

I read (and you know the old saying ) so take it for what it's worth. On a Maxis chat someone asked when a pets ep was coming out. Maxis replied "When pigs fly". I read the thing about Pink Floyd with the flying pig landing in a farmer's field and the name of the album was Animals. So if you put together It could mean the next ep is a farming one with animals which every farm needs cats and dogs. Just my opinion hey I could be wrong.

Thanks all, I was afraid that she might never give birth. I usually keep them at home and wait until they give birth before saving or going to another lot. since in OFB they said that a pregnant sims could go to a community lot I though ok. Well at least know I know it's not a hack and has happeing before with saving. Thanks again.

This is the first one of my sims to get pregnant since installing OFB and patch. She went straight into her 3rd trimester look wise, never spinning into the 2nd or 3rd. Now I don't know if this is because of a hack or because I took her to a community lot the first day that she showed, or if it is just a problem from the game or patch. I had to save my game and didn't complete her 3rd full day. Is any one else having this problem?

Same here with the eating on the downtown lots, it's awful. Total ruined the downtown for me. What a waste hopefully this will be addressed in the second patch for OFB. It seems like ever new ep messes up the way I play my community lots. After nighlife I couldn't keep no more than nine sims on the community lots at one time.

I have a clothing store, when I take a sim to the store the sim (owner, no employees just her) will not ring up the customers so the visitng sims throw down the bags and leave. the owner picks up the bag and gets reinburst. I took the sim I was controlling to the cash register of course the owner doesn't ring her up and she throws down the bag. A message appear about someone bought new clothes. What happens then, the owner picks up bag gets her money back and the customer get her money back and she now has the clothes in her desser. I guess this is what you call a paid shopper lol.

So, I'm not alone. I had fish before I installed the second NL patch and OFB. Unless a cc fish tank is causing the problem with the installtion of patch or OFB. I only have one fish tank in the game. I'm going to take out cc fish tanks and see if that might be the problem.

I notice last night that the fish in the fish tanks do not show up. The feed and watch option are there. The restock option is there, but no fish only little bubbles. The sims will feed and watch as if they are there. I thought maybe if I bought a new tank they might show, but they didn't. I was wondering is anyone else having this problem?
