Played without AM today, no crashes. Put the new AM in, crash after about half an hour. I wish I had some details beyond that I could provide.

What method are you using to install the mods, old or new?  It may be nothing, or it may be just coincidental, but when my crashes started with 1.29, I changed the mod setup from the new documents system to the old, original system, and haven't had a crash yet.

Using the old method, actually. I've switched it to the documents method, and it's not crashed since.

Can you zero on the crashing at all? Try to get a save close to a crash and see if the crashing repeats itself. I am unable to replicate the crashing behavior.

I saved about 5 minutes or so before a crash; when I got back to the point where it had crashed, it didn't crash again. Nothing specific seems to be happening to cause it, other than half an hour of continuous playtime.

I'm having frequent crashes, too. Only mods are 3/20 AwesomeMod, Showtime reg rewards, unlocked stage props, unlocked Showtime CAS, patched to 1.33.

It may be relevant, I'm not sure, but I had the config set to auto save (30 minutes), but the saves weren't being made. The crashes might have been happening when AM tried to auto save, but I didn't note the time.

[edit] I removed the config file, and still had a crash after about 35 minutes of play.

I'm having another issue. I've looked and haven't seen it mentioned. When my Sim moonlights as a mixologist, although there is a popup saying X amount was earned, that amount is not added to household funds.

You didn't mention if the kid was a vampire?  I haven't seen any behavior like this with my kids, they are gaining their skills as they are supposed to.

She is. Because, you know, her father was turned just before she was born.  Roll Eyes

That's the same reason my sim kid was born a vampire.

I've confirmed painting, musical instruments, logic, writing, and charisma are sped up for this born vamp. His fishing skill rises at the normal rate, other skills haven't been tested.

I just had an interesting bug. I had to double check that I hadn't accidentally downloaded some sort of skilling mod because I had a child start painting and get full painting skill before the thing was even half done. She hadn't even read any toddler books.

I had something similar happen, but it was with Charisma. The only toddler skill item he had access to was the peg box, but when he was a teenager and started talking to himself in the mirror, his Charisma immediately jumped as high as possible based on the number of friends he had. For the record, he was born a vampire.

Not sure if it's a bug or user error, but I don't see any consistency in the rules for inviting another sim to join bands.

Any ideas why this option comes and goes?

I'm not sure why, but it seems that sometimes, once you have a higher relationship with a sim, the band invitation moves under the "Friendly" interactions list, rather than being in the main list.

At bars, vampires have their own selection of blood-named drinks... which don't refill the thirst bar. Considering a vampire's diet is primarily liquid, it seems like the bar drinks should work like the plasma juice boxes.

This does seem to be a bug with genetics.

Sim 1 impregnated Sim 2. The next day, Sim 1 was bitten by a vampire. Just a few hours before Sim 2 went into labor, Sim 1 metamorphosed into a vampire. Now, in the relationship tab, the baby's portrait has the border that indicates a vampire. This should not happen.

Yeah, I checked the inventory. I even tried making different objects, but nothing but an expensive burst of confetti resulted.

Different sim, new neighborhood, new lot... No problem. Doesn't seem to be a global issue.

My sims weren't gaining badges on sewing or pottery, so I emptied the downloads folder and tried again... hooray, badges. But now, even when there's no CC, when my Uni sim finishes a sewing project, there's a burst of confetti, he doesn't get the item he just made, and the sewing table becomes unusable. I haven't been able to find other mention of the same issue... maybe I'm not looking hard enough.
