I have a good desktop PC at home but also a 3-4 years old laptop when travelling and I have Sims 3 with all EP's and SP's and alot of CC. I play alot with good quality and not too bad lagging. It's a HP Pavilion dv9500 Notebook PC with Intel(R) Core(TM)2Duo CPU 2.20 GHz, 4 GB, Visra, 32 bit I always use a cooling plate and the CPU temperatures is 45-50°C when playing Sims.
So, you can play Sims on a laptop!

What's this safety program called? Can it be uninstalled?
I think it was something like Mac Safe or something like that with a window layout like the Origin. And yes it was in the program list with an uninstall icon. I did that after checking what "dangerous problem" it found!

I have a legal game with registered CD but I'm playing on two different machines, one stationary and one laptop. I don't want to buy two games and want to play without CD. That's not the only reason for me to have awesome in my games.
The installation, the 1.3 patch and latest Awesome, on the stationary machine works without problems. I removed the enablescripterror.package and the four cach-files.
But when I should install the patch, on the laptop, with EA's launcher, I got the "Invalid file" several times. The patch didn't install. When I load the game I have a CTD every time I go into a family.
Uninstalling didn't work, I have the same message "Invalid file" when trying to uninstall....
Well I copied two files, Ts3.exe and TSLHost.dll from my other machine to my laptop. And YES, now it works to install the 1.3 patch and the awesome (+ indiStone, no intro, etc)
It works! I've been playing several hours now on both computers and didn't find any problems. So far......

The program started without problems but when I click the lot I want to play I have a CTD. After romoving the enablescripterror.package the game works without problem for now (one hour playing different lots) Just want to tell...

I'm not sure if this has happen to anyone else but I tried to save my game last night and it would spun for about a minute or two and give me an error telling me to read the readme file and tried to save it again and the game crashed. I then loaded up sims 3 again a saw that my saved file had now become corrupted. What the hell happen?
I have exactly the same problem!

Hi, I just want these objects because I find them very nice and good looking on my lots in CS and it would really be nice to have them in the real Sims... I also think it'e very good looking that sims kan walk in the grass, the plants... Isn't possible to take away the needs for gardening and just make them decorative, like carpets or something? Well, I'm not so good in programming and english is not my native language so it's hard to explain. But, I love all the items in Castaway and would like to use them in Sims2...
