My legacy family is getting pretty wealthy and I need to expand their dwelling.  I'm curious about people's thoughts regarding necessary rooms, room sizes, and any sort of security or perimeter defense in Sims 3 as opposed to Sims 2.

They actually did a nice job with the house.  It even came with the tacky 70s color scheme.  It's too bad that the family itself looked pretty revolting.  Now I just have to send them all in the backyard to toss a football.  "Ow my nose!" 

Eaglezero, you have insane color coordination skills.  I love that dark wood and green kitchen! 

Okay taking a shot at this.  I tried to keep with the spirit of the original but make it a bit more functional as a living space for a sim just starting out or just maybe a bit down on her luck.

Interior shot: I tried to keep most of the original furnishings.  Unfortunately the little pot bellied stove had to go.

I have sims 2 double deluxe, which has nightlife and the celebrations sp, university, ofb, pets, seasons and the mansion and gardens stuff pack installed.
