TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: AwesomeMod Bug Report Thread

I took out the test version of AM and started the IP neighborhood. So far I haven't had the sound issue and it's been about a game week which is when I usually run into the issue. But I've only been playing off and on. Going to give it more time this afternoon to see if the issue pops back up.

Awesomeware / The Armory / Re: FFS "Batbox" Lot Debugger v2.0: NUCLEAR WAR EDITION

I forgot to mention the Cycle LTW as well. I was so caught up on the Upgrade part being gone. I wonder what else is missing. I dind't really check. I have no clue why IKEA of all things would screw it up. I'm with Krevetti, I think EA goes out of their way bork everything. Why settle for screwing your own stuff when you screw other people's functional objects as well.

Just posting this in case someone else is running into the same issue. I just installed IKEA stuff and when I tried to upgrade my newly made CAS sims to be pre-Uni, the option wasn't there. Only to upgrade Pre-FT. So I exited and tried to go into one of the premade families that I hadn't played with yet, and the option to upgrade pre-Uni wasn't there either. So I don't know whether I screwed up or if EA messed up yet again.

Cuz I have nothing better to do, I'm responding to you here too. I think the problem is with Squinge's Uni Career LTWs. Take those out and see if that fixes it. If not... well wait for someone who actually knows what they're talking about to read this. Sheesh, I'm a social worker for a reason.

TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: House Layout?
|

I was just about to comment on that as well, neriana. My sims are constantly going upstairs when I want the little idiots to stay downstairs. My sims never seem to have any issues with stairs. As for the house, what did you expect, gali? Not everyone was going to like it. So the major consensus seems to prove that no one likes, who cares? If it works for you then fine. I think it was just a tad on the surprising side for those of us that like our houses smaller, more together, and with the furniture on the inside.

TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Peggy Sims - worth the subscription?

I've subscribed in the past and am considering renewing my subscription when I have access to some extra funds...whenever that is. But I like her hairs. They look great in game. So I guess what I'm saying, is that yes, its worth the money for a month or so. But any longer than that you start getting antsy waiting for more stuff.

TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Phone Error - "too many iterations"
|
on: 2006 March 20, 06:58:51
|
After getting OFB, I decided to start my game over. So I refreshed my neighborhoods and have been playing a fresh new Pleasantview for the past three days. Today, I decided to play around with the Pleasant family. And this is where my problem is. I had Mary Sue go to the phone to Invite the Headmaster over and she popped out of the interaction. I did the same with every other sim in the house and the results were the same. They kept popping out of their current interactions and standing still. When I did click on the phone, the only option that was availabe was 'ask out on date'. I have no clue what's going on. They're the only family in the neighborhood that is affected by this. I moved Daniel out temporarily and for some reason that actually fixed the problem, but only for awhile because the very next day the problem was back again. Finally, I turned on debug mode, even though I know nothing about it, and a box popped up saying 'too many iterations.' Does anyone have any idea what's going on? I got an error log (have no idea how to read it) and I'm attaching it to this post. If anyone could help, I would greatly appreciate it.

I think I may be able to help... ye. Ahem. If you're testing JM's romance mod, it causes the interaction ask for date to just drop out. If you're not testing it, then um, I guess I didn't help ye, after all.

I tried playing with 10 once and couldn't deal. The whole household was in chaos. I don't know how Bangelnuts and Byrnne manage with all those sims. I now feel like an inferior simmer. One day I'll try again, and avoid hiring a nanny. That seems to be where I go wrong.

I haven't had any drama sims yet, but I think I'll go make one and see. I know the drama professors are odd little sims. They fall in love with everyone they meet, regardless if that sim has ever flirted with them, or even paid them any kind of attention. Or at least they do in my game.

TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Fix needed for Nightlife nannies leaving way to early

I do. But the next day they both show up. Its just a weird glitch. Its not terribly annoying in comparison to some of the other problems I've had in the game. Usually I'll just have whatever adult is around dismiss the nanny. The odd thing is they come right back. I just thought it was ironic that some people have a problem getting them to stay, and I can't seem to get rid of them.

I'm getting this problem where when my sim gets a promotion lets say that causes her work schedule to change from arriving home at 4 to getting home around 11, another nanny will arrive on the lot. So now I have two insane old women fighting over waking up a sleeping baby in order to harass it. Nannies are bugged, and that's what we have buyable fire for.

I had the inteeminator for a little while and that's what happened. It was a little disturbing. Suffice to say I no longer have teen woohoo hacks in my game. I haven't checked to see if its still there because well I'm scarred for life that Dirk Dreamer broke up his parents marriage.

I hear you. I'm sick of them too. It bothers me when I see the little whiners at the official site whining about not having them. I want to STOP having them. I now use the triplets and quads hack to make it so that they only have one child. They were fun at first but now they've got to go.

I put it in the kids room. Figured it would only be nice there. It was the only thing that made any sense in my head. Why would you give your boyfriend a Mr. Bearly Butts chair? He just shelled out a lot of money for that dream date. At the very least she could have dropped off a statue or even a tv or something useful!
