TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Grilled cheese?

I did go on a date (luncheon date) with a friend that kept raving about a local restaurant that served "adult grilled cheese" sandwiches.....made me think of the sims, which she doesn't play. Honey, that was some sandwich. Five kinds of cheese on texas toast. Sandwich was like 3" tall. 1" was cheese. I could easily become a sims grilled cheese aspiration if I could have that sandwich 3 times a day. It's the only way I make them now.

JM, I do believe you are just being contrary today. Don't tell me every sim in your game looks like you? Or do you just have a *big forehead* neighborhood? @Nailati: Getting more excited every day about your finished products. Thanks for considering our suggestions.

I've always felt the sim's foreheads were too prominent. All the women look like they have receding hairlines. I generally use hairstyles with bangs for that reason. Can't do that with the men. Have you thought of bringing the faces up a couple of clicks to eliminate the massive foreheads on men?
You are doing a superb job on these faces. All excited about downloading when they are ready.

The objects at Sims Connection are high quality and work well. If the animation is incorrect in any way, Sims Connections advises you of that up front.
I downloaded a Tiki bar from them and was told "sometimes the bartender shows up, and sometimes they don't".
Many of their objects are useful in other homes as individual pieces. You would not go wrong to get a subscription for a month and download everything you want.

The male hair from Sims Connection is among my favorites. Deleted all of the female hair I had downloaded. Try some of the free female hair and check it out for yourself.

If you want to hear and see outstanding performers, try the French Quarter in New Orleans. They are talented in everything from music to paintings. Jackson Square is a gold mine of talent any day of the week. Just makes you feel happy walking up and down the streets hearing all that wonderful music.

I voted for Marj, but I agree not to do surgery on a toddler. Had one child recently that looked like she had no nose. Just nose openings. Worried some about that, but when she became a child, she was fine. I think custom skin tones are partially responsible for some of my *mishaps*.

I've only downloaded the Victorian sets and been very pleased with everything. I use the various items over and over. Very detailed. The animation is *off* on several things but not a big problem. The donation sets are huge and have small items like curtains and plants I use constantly in every house. The quality of the furniture is outstanding.
I couldn't play the game without my victorian items. The poly count is probably outrageous.
Haven't had experience with their freebies. Not interested in anything I have seen there, so I can't honestly answer your question.

Vita Sims has a victorian phone sitting on a victorian phone table/chair. It's well done. You can see a close up of it. It's in the "Victorian Living Room" set. It's a donation set but you will get many items that you would use over and over. I use the items in the set all the time. I personally feel it is worth the 3.50 euro.

The biggest problem I have with all the faces in the Sims is eyelids, or lack of. The men especially seem to need more eyelid definition. We can put eye shadow on the women, but the men are always weak looking. Eyelids.....
And it's okay if you have a gas mask too. And I would download your templates. Amazing job.

Well, it seems I spoke too soon. I have burninated the family, but for a good reason, I think. Since I decided to make them my main family, I am recreating Matt but differently. Since he is not my creation, I don't feel comfortable writing stories for public view with him in it. That's Brynne's job. So, I am going to re-make Dylan and her mate. I'm willing to hang in there with you BlueSoup. However many you put up for downloading, I'll download.

No problem, I'm glad you like her. By the way, that hair is from Lola at TSR (I *may* be able to be persuaded to send that to you if you want ) and her eyes are the default replacements from Lyran. Well there's nothin' quite as good as having the whole enchilada. Wouldn't be BlueSoup if I didn't have *all* the pieces. As long as I'm being greedy here, I hope the lipstick is included. It's really awesome.

I'll go download your sim. I've got just about everything Helaene has on her site, so I'll be all set. Thanks for directing me to the right area.
