Last night I finally decided to install Nightlife, but for some unknown reason I always get the message that I uninstalled University. The thing is that the University folder still exsists and it's fine and whole. I do use virtual DVD drive - is that the problem? Did I broke it?

I would appreciate any kind of help.

EDIT: Just one more question... When I try to add a new university or downtown, the game crashes ("Application has crashed..." message). This is happening also on my brother's computer, which is far better than mine, so there must be something deeper involved.

I rebooted it three or four times. As for the testing cheats, no error showed up. I was able to load the lot when I removed my Downloads folder, so the problem must be there. But I don't have this notowniechildren hack. I think I have some stuff that are only for The Sims 2 base game, so I'll try to find and remove them.

Hi to all! I just installed University, and played a little bit. One of my Sims wanted to buy new clothes, so I went to Community Lot.

But I couldn't reach it. It was loading and loading and loading without end. And you know that little red light on your computer which shows computer usage or so? When it lights I know the game works, but this time it was turned off. The game was not responding.

It seems like I broke it in half an hour! Please help...

I was right that Vidcund caused one error. I called him over, and that same moment when he showed up, the error window appeared. This is in the first attachment, and it was about Pregnancy Controller. I've never seen this pop up in my game before.

The second one occured when my Sim invited Vidcund to join the chess game. This happened a lot when I played in Pleasantview. I don't know anything about it, so if you could just take a look, I would be very gratefull. What am I saying... I already am.

I just logged in... I'll post error log later when I start the game. But I have a thought last night about this problem.

When this happened I played the Strangetown, the Curious family (I do not often mess with pre-made characters in any 'hood). So, this was the first time I entered their lot. Vidcund immediately got abducted, and when he came back, I just saved the game. Then he became pregnant, I assume...

Before "jump" happened, I was playing on my lot, and Vidcund came over. I used Mind Controlling Mirror to make him selectable. Could it be that it's his alien pregnancy causing problems, because every time he's on the lot the error happens? I'm not sure, so I'm going back to my game to catch that error.

I had this problem about a year ago, without any CC. When I send a Sim to eat with the whole family gathered around the table, they all just jump. The same happened few days ago. In the meantime, I reinstalled game (I have only base version), but now I have some custom contents and hacks in downloads folder.

Could it be some of them not working properly, or what?

And yes, I used to use boolprop testingcheats enabled. The jump thing happened even before I started using the cheat. I don't know where is the problem. Can anyone help me?
