1  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: allow45degreeangleofrotation not working for me? on: 2006 December 19, 05:46:46
Are you using true or false at the end of the statement? Boolprop or anything at the beginning?
2  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Request: More autonomous arguing! on: 2006 December 01, 02:27:00
Isn't that the "nag" menu option?
3  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: How do YOU Pleasantview? on: 2006 November 27, 02:39:51
"Replaced" as in giving them a complete make-over or what point am I missing?

Yes, an NPC replacement is where you use SimPE to genetically change the Maxis sims.
For example, this was Vidcund's son before the replacement:

and after:

Before I had been either killing off most of the Maxis made families or simply trashcanning them, now I replace them.   Wink

Where is his hair from? I like the curls.

Once, when patting a stray, the option came up to call that pets owner. My sim called, the obdience trainer turned up and took Balin, a wolf in my game, home. Haven't seen it since.
5  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Problems with CC and Glamour on: 2006 September 05, 10:12:35
I did yes but I did the two boots and it worked. In other words loading the game twice seemed to do the trick - thank god.
6  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Problems with CC and Glamour on: 2006 September 05, 02:57:07
Ok, I just installed Glamour and I'm having the same problems, no CC and things flashing blue. So in basic "I don't play with Sims files speak" please tell me how to fix it??
7  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Getting into taxi with more than 6 sims? on: 2006 July 23, 07:13:12
It has happened with my sims too sometimes and I am pretty sure that it is a time out problem. Sometimes when they ARRIVE at their destination, if the friggin other sims don't get out of the way quick enough, the taxi leaves with a particular sim who arrived with them, still in it. I then have to get a sim to ring that sim who got stuck in taxi and invite them to met them downtown. Frustrating.
8  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: I just noticed this has anyone else. on: 2006 March 16, 01:37:01
Does JM's lot debugger - upgrade pre-uni sims do the same thing?

No it doesn't as I am having this problem too. All my graduate sims from NL now only have the basic want slots since installing OFB. I have tried JM's debugger but no, it doesn't work with these particular sims.
9  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Walkbys are seriously messed up in OFB on: 2006 March 16, 01:34:01
It is my impression that the home businesses are generally trouble.
10  TS2: Burnination / Oops! You Broke It! / Re: OFB Community Lot Car Bug on: 2006 March 14, 01:53:17
Lyric, sounds like the same problem JM and I experienced. My sim was heading up the stairs to the main door to her shop and her flatmate (the only person she shares a home lot with) was there too. I could move them around too but only as an object.
11  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: New CEP 4 For Open for Business on: 2006 March 14, 01:17:43
Excellent! So far I have had only one item flash blue. Hopefully this update will fix that problem.
12  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: 2 Warnings: Exit without saving and delete uniform on: 2006 March 14, 01:15:54
Noted. Will add to my list of "Things NOT to do in OFB". This list is getting pretty long.
13  TS2: Burnination / Oops! You Broke It! / Re: OFB Community Lot Car Bug on: 2006 March 14, 00:34:12
I have a wild theory that it MAY be triggered if you send a single sim alone to a business in a car, then save and reload it later. Somebody test, and if their lot jams, DO NOT DELETE IT. Inform me immediately if this reliably triggers the problem, and if the symptoms I listed above match. Perform the Reenable UI, then save/exit, and I'll post up the Lot Crowbar.

I'm happy to back up my files and try it tonight for you.

Ditto. At work at the moment but tonight I am more than happy to give it another go.
14  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Npc college sims NOT getting Want slots Upgrade, and FFS debugger not helping... on: 2006 March 13, 21:45:01
My uni graduated sims that had had eight or six (??) want slots now all have the second class citizen 4 slots again and I don't get the option to upgrade them with the lot debugger and this has only occured since I installed OFB. Rather annoying.
15  TS2: Burnination / Oops! You Broke It! / Re: OFB Community Lot Car Bug on: 2006 March 13, 21:42:26
Question? Is this only happening to shop owners in Bluewater village?  I have not had any problems with my shop in Pleasantview!

No. It happened to me on my own personally built community lot in Pleasantview.
16  TS2: Burnination / Oops! You Broke It! / Re: OFB Community Lot Car Bug on: 2006 March 13, 04:11:33
Shezoe,

I think the critical point here is that when you leave the community lot and your sim IS STILL THERE, when you try to go back to that lot you enter sure enough, but only in build mode. The lot is no longer playable, only buildable.

Stormy
17  TS2: Burnination / Oops! You Broke It! / Re: OFB Community Lot Car Bug on: 2006 March 13, 01:34:04
In Pleasantview my sim drove her car to her community lot business.

All played fine. I saved the game and exited whilst she was still on the lot with her car. I went to bed, got up to play the next day and then everything went weird.

Her house was there in neighbourhood view but no car in the driveway. I clicked to enter her home lot but the game said the family was out visiting her commercial lot where I had left the night before. Fine. So I clicked on her commercial lot and it loaded but only in build mode.

My sim was not where I had left her. She was in street clothes and heading up the stairs to her shop. Pointless anyway as I could access game play. I eventually bulldozed the lot and everything seemed fine after that. My sim's flat mate though has had blank wants/fears ever since though.

I might add that I have never had this problem using taxi's and I can save, exit and re-enter without anything going wrong.

Thanks akatonbo! I spent my weekend playing rather than board reading  Wink which is rare for me at times.
19  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Real Estate Office on: 2006 March 12, 21:42:58
I really enjoyed the real estate office thing. You need alot of cash but the profits came rolling in when you sell a few. Plus I didn't need any lazy staff and if a playable sim asked to purchase, I just said no to releasing the deed. Still a hack to stop them coming into your store, any store, would be good.
20  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Reporters not reporting? on: 2006 March 09, 04:00:27
Well he has the hots for my sim tycoon so hopefully it won't take long. He rings EVERY day. Talk about keen.
21  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: What's your second and third impression of OFB? on: 2006 March 09, 03:00:50
Me too!! The first time I played, I tell ya, I was ready to slap those stupid little sims around if they didn't hurry up! I was getting as impatient as the customers!
22  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: What's your second and third impression of OFB? on: 2006 March 09, 02:31:21
I honestly think that a badges (cash register) mod is high priority. The little badge thing I spawned though is working well enough. Seriously though, how fast your sims work that little machine can make or break a busy shop. I say call it the "nofatfingers mod".
23  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Real Estate Office on: 2006 March 09, 02:27:36
Marg! I could kiss you!

I have my little prima guide, my little bit of treasure, here with me now. I shall look it up!

Wonder why I couldn't select it. But I'll keep trying!
24  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Real Estate Office on: 2006 March 09, 02:23:23
Not necessarily. From what I can gather, if you can't buy it from the catalogue or make it, it ain't for sale.
25  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Real Estate Office on: 2006 March 09, 02:14:05
Thats what I used. I honestly don't think you can sell them. Have you actually done it?
