Yeah but remember the people who don't read or listen and want to download, bork up their game and come here acting like everyone else is wrong because they didn't read. KT having the OP at most up to date and cleaned up should solve some problems along with maybe add in a few other fixes for items that were broken and no one noticed.
Very true. I did notice something last night: The dog and cat costumes, from the Pets Origin preorder, have duplicate thumbnails in CAS. It's been that way for awhile...far as I know there isn't a work around, other than uninstalling it.

TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Two Questions....

First question... What is the missing item here, in Teen Everyday? I believe I've figured this one out...it's the exercise outfit from the Skylight Studio...I think.Second question... I don't have this as a package in my mods folder...so I'm thinking that the secondary one is in my DCBackup...would anyone happen to know the string so I can delete one? Thanks in advance.

I have various other "blank" icons in CAS that then have missing meshes when put on the sim I don't know if it has the same cause, but I am having this problem too, as well as duplicate icons where one item works, and the other has a missing mesh. Been messing around with this in a clean mods folder today, and discovered it's caused by the content patch I downloaded here. I don't decrap my stuff, just run it through s3rc and install as packages with Delphy's multi installer and I have all EPs & SPs, patched to 1.50. I've tried installing the content patch in both overrides and the content patch folder and still have the same problem, and the same thing with re-downloading the patch to make sure I had the most recent one. One interesting thing is that running the dashboard tool while the patch is in the packages folder doesn't show a conflict with the store CAS items, even though I opened up both in s3pe and saw that there were CASP files with the same instance number. Is it possible that a decrapped version of the content patch got uploaded on accident? Not sure if that's something that could even cause this, but it's driving me crazy trying to dress sims with this mess in my CAS. I'm really at a loss and am hoping there's not something incredibly obvious that I missed that's causing this. All you have to do, is disable custom content go into your game, and enable custom content when you open the game again, then the missing meshes and items will show up.

I googled and used several torrent search sites but was not able to find reliable DLs of any Sims Prima Guide after LN (which I already have besides base game, WA and AM). Has anybody the other guides as pdf?
Thanks, yes, I know those but I am looking for the official guides. You will not find anymore official Eguides for any EPs after Late Night. Prima only has them online, on their servers. The only way you're going to get a pdf version is if someone scans in a hard copy they bought.

I was just thinking today that I wanted to say thanks.
I had a problem with the new oven, and like clockwork, you had fix at the ready. Without prompting you update those files. For love the of the game or sticking it to the man, or both, I don't know, but I appreciate you.
Thanks KT for taking your time/energy/what have you, to play Robin Hood of the Sims for people.

Deleting caches won't bring back missing items. Are you on a Mac? Mac users tend to have missing store stuff. As for the sauna that's been covered, lurk moar.
Nope, PC..and the sauna is still showing up red...the only thing I saw when searching was someone who didn't have all your files in the mods folder...I do...and it's still not working. I'll just have to mess around and figure it out on my own.

Disappeared meaning it's not there...I guess the files were overwritten or something, because I had all Store content in my game, but most of it no longer exists. Also there is a ghost outline of the sauna in my game...I can click on it, but it remains ghost like, and it won't place anywhere on the lot.
I think I'm going to have to uninstall the entire game and reinstall everything.

This thread is for store items. I believe this was already pointed out to you so please make sure you search first in the right place instead of cluttering up this thread.
KT set me straight already, but thanks for the information, again. Also, I always search first. Miss Malevolent, don't double post. Edit your first post instead.

You might want to turn BuyDebug on and see if there are any spawners on the lot. Junkyard spawners will spawn broken items like that.
LOL, I was just coming back to say that's what it was, but you beat me to it. Thanks again everyone...everything is right as rain again. I don't think there is a golf ball. Have you tried cleaning the dirty furniture? And as far as that phone goes, you need to uninstall the old broken one you have installed and then find and install the fixed one that EA released.
There is one, update your game to 1.34 and download the no mosaic on MTS.info and it will show up.

Well the phone worked with that script someone gave me in your thread. But then when I was testing out a house, it started placing random dirty furniture needing to be replaced on the lot. And I don't mean that it was making the furniture already placed on the lot dirty, it's just placing random objects there. I'll attach a pic so you see what I mean. I thought it was related to the fix, because that wasn't happening before...but I took it out of the mods folder, and it's still doing it. So, I'm at a loss.

KT's fixes are for store items. The golf tee isn't a store item. It came with Showtime.
I know, I was asking if it was borked for anyone? Cause I never use the thing, decided to last night, and she was swinging at air. (Yes I know this is a thread for store fixes) I decided to bundle that question in with my phone question instead of wasting time with a whole new thread.

The golf tee, is there supposed to be a ball showing up or is it not there and the sim just swings the club? And tonight, I have random dirty furniture showing up on the lot. I think it may be related to the script I downloaded to get the vintage phone to work...I'm going to look into it to see if that's the culprit.

True. I should have added "unless you use KT's store fix." So new generations reg pack + KT's store fix = working Vintage Rotary phone.
I have KT's fix, and everything works but that phone. *shrug* Dunno why, and more to the point, no big deal...I'm just glad everything else works.

Hmm, Do you have Version 10 anywhere...that one worked. I downloaded 11 and stupidly deleted 10 thinking it would work(instead of testing first), but now the fryer, tabcast, spellbook etc doesn't work anymore. The antique phone never worked for me with any fix...I think it's cause it's borked in the mid century set and not the generation reg set. But I can live with the phone being messed up. If anyone has KT version 10's fix, I'd appreciate it.

thanks for the prima guide...saved me some dough!
You're welcome but like Gus said it's a shit copy, so given what people were saying in this thread I looked around the forum and found a better version buried in a thread. Going to re-up that one and I would suggest you download that. As for the comments...*shrug* this is MATY, par for the course. Didn't bother me a wit, cause I mean when you've been on the 'net as long as I have, you done seen it all...heard it all...screwed it all and bought the t-shirt. And yeah I did edit it later...like I'm about to do again, with the new link.
