1  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / Pudding Factory / Re: how to download store items into my game on: 2010 August 20, 01:30:34
Sorry I'm new here, and hope I'm posting in the right section. If not please point me the way. How do you get the objects into your game. I used to download here before they made that patch that only stuff bought from their store could be used. I know they made a way around it now that I can download from here again, and get it to work in my game. Buying from the sim store is so expensive!! I'm sure theres a tutorial on here somewhere that maybe I missed. Any links would help.

Thanks again

I hope you learned your lesson.  I find it's better NEVER to post here.

Yay!  Thank you...even I can do that...but which files?  Downloads only or saved game files, such as neighborhood, saved sims, etc.?
6  Awesomeware / Armoire of Invincibility / Re: TOOL: TS3 Recompressor on: 2009 October 10, 21:28:14
OK, I need help...I was reading the thread about bloated save times which my game has developed.  Also in that thread was a link to this tool stating that "running the save file over (this tool)" every once in a while would be a good thing to debloat the files.

OK, having a blind belief in anything built by Pescado and being a TOTAL DUMBASS when it comes to computereze, I downloaded the s3rc.exe to my desktop.  Now what?  Do I run it, save it or just leave it there?  What files do I "run over" the tool and HOW do I "run them over?"  I'm completely at a loss about this procedure but yet want the goodness of improving my game with this tool!

Thanks...
7  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: What defines "Growing up well"? on: 2009 July 24, 16:24:36
When I first played toddlers in TS3, I had several not grow up well ...I didn't get the option to choose his/her traits and they got negative traits like "loser".  Now I make sure they are are potty trained, learn to walk and talk, I get the option to choose traits for them.  Other than that I pretty much let them play on their own.  I do like playing toddlers tho'.  They cute.

I have a ghost stuck in front of my science building and everyone who goes there either for work or for classes gets stuck in "mourn" state until I notice and cancel the action.  This has stayed the same during several games, I mean exiting, saving and re entering the next day to play.

But if you remove the element of torture, it's not fun anymore. You can't have the carrot without the big stick. Sad

LOL - good point!

And I love the idea about the coughing.   Smokers I know cough constantly!!
11  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: I would like a Smoking Mod - Can it be done? on: 2009 June 29, 15:51:47
I'd love to see a smoking mod with extreme chain smoking.  I have a character who badly needs this mod.  And I don't care about all the political/health crap.  That's real life.  I just want my sim (his mother actually) to be able to walk around with a cigarette hanging out of her mouth and an ashtray in her hand.  And the ability to tap her cigarette ash off on the side of the ashtray in her hand or just randonly on to the floor just like the real old time smokers did.  And putting down the ashtray on every table corner she walks by.  No big health problems, nothing complicated...maybe a contentment/relaxation moodlet or relief from anxiety.  That would be cool and fun.  I don't see this as glamorizing smoking, it was just a fact of life for many people.

Thanks.
13  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / AL screwed OFB window recolors??? on: 2008 September 21, 06:55:29
I just installed AL and wonder has anyone else noticed that the OFB windows no longer have recolors matching the OFB doors?  Specifically the following windows now only come in red and my houses with recolored windows have all reverted to red.  Recolors I have downloaded are gone and the windows are not "designable" with the design tool either.  These include the following windows:

the artefact by ergo
the embrasure by ergo
the quadrato by ergo
the pythagoras
the breech by ergo and
the intuke by ergo

I haven't seen anyone else post on this...what's the deal, anyone know??   Embarrassed

Thanks Kutto and EsotericPolarBear.  I now realize I'm completely out of my depth here!!!
15  Awesomeware / The Armory / Re: FFS "Batbox" Lot Debugger v2.0: NUCLEAR WAR EDITION on: 2008 February 05, 22:58:46
Hate to change the subject but I have a question which I can't quite figure out.   I've read that there is a way to delete all sims in memory with "0" relationship score in order to reduce the file size for your sim.  Is this something the debugger can do?  And is this a good idea?  Also why would you want to "force error"  on a sim?  I know it's a kindergarten question, but I have a sim who keeps popping up "object error" messages and I'm afraid I'm going to lose her.  Any help, please??  XXXOOO
16  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: What does lot debugger do and how do I use it? on: 2008 February 05, 22:26:49
Thanks Zazazu for the reference to the thread.  That's just what I needed!   Grin

And BTW where is the F**** Manual?Huh??
17  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / What does lot debugger do and how do I use it? on: 2008 February 05, 21:36:02
Huh  First, please accept my apologies if this is the wrong forum or the question is stupid, but I'm new here and I've done several searches and can't find info on the lot debugger.  I found the download but I want to know if I need it and how to use it.  I've had neighborhoods crash and burn on me before and my current neighborhood keeps coming up with "objects errors (?)" on a particular sim.  I'm afraid I'm headed for another trashed neighborhood.  I've read praises for the lot debugger on MTS2 but no real info.  Help!!!
