I played sims 3 and I'm switching to Sims 2.

I'm a controle freak when it comes to playing sims. And when my sims have babies without my consent, I don't like it.
Story Progression is turned off by the way.

Besides sims 2 is a lot more fun.

That tells me all I need to know.


I did the same thing. My arr game won't go over the internet. So what use do I have with the EA download manager.

I'm just stupid. When you throw a party you can select everything.

To be honest I find that some hairstyles from sims 3 look like the hair Peggy makes in
Sims 2. As if a rat ate some hair.

I have a question about playing different households.

In sims 2 you can go from 1 household to another in 1 click.
Is it in Sims 3 only possible to go to the "Main menu" then "start a new game"
to go to a different household?
When I play 1 family I can't see an other way to switch between households.

It begins to look like every household I play is a new neighborhood. I hope I explained it correctly.

I just found the my documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3 directory. (I only saw EA Games in my documents)
In search for a way to put my own music in the game. And am a little dissapointed that you can have only 1
radiostation to place music: Custom Music.

I found a problem with Alfixes.

When a sim had a good date. And later they pick up there "thanks for the fun" note
from the mailbox.  The note disappears from there inventory.
It happened on a residental lot. I don't know if apartment lots have the same problem.

Yesterday I tried out this theory that school buses won't show up with the binned appartments. I picked an appartment lot
that only has 2 appartments and the school bus does show up.
Maybe it is just a couple of appartments. Maybe I'll check out those other appartments.
I only play with the Stereohack, alfixes, notownieregen and LordDarcy's SP fixes for AL.


EDIT: I just played with 4 apartments in Belladonna Cove. My test family Gavigan.
In the appartments Dynamite Duplix and Boothbay Apartments the school bus shows up.
But in appartments City Center Lofts and Main Street Mobile Homes the school bus doesn't show up.
So my theory is that a neigborhood can't have 2 of the same appartments, because City Center Lofts and Main Street Mobile Homes are already in Belladonna Cove when you first play that neighborhood.
Can anyone verify that they have the same problem?

I have the same problem with the appartment were the Cleveland's live.
One of the apartments downstairs stays black. In that appartment I constantly see a sim
jump rope.

Maybe it is just this 1 teen, Tara DeBateau, that can't work out by using
the expensive radio that came with GLS. Or it is a problem with every teen.
As soon as I click on work out the que drops and I can't select work out again.
Only when she does something, but it still drops out of que.

Probably a stupid question.
But why is almost every game object red in Sims2Pack Clean Installer?

You mean the third patch.
The second one is named v1.13.0.155.
The third is v1.13.0.161 Patch.

It is suprises me that I'm no longer suprised to see these errors in the sims 2 game.

I have found a glitch wich can be FT related.
I was building a house with a pool.
When I moved the fountain from OFB somewhere else.

The spot were the fountain was, is unusable. I can still place furniture, but no pool.

I exited the house without saving I went back. The spot in the link above was some how fine again. So I placed the fountain somewhere else. Then by accident I pressed the Live mode. Went back to build mode and guess what the second spot were

Al I can say is: Is that all!!!. Or is it just me. There are a lot more glitches.
I will just keep using MATY's hacks. And wait for a 3rd patch with a fixed .exe.
