Starlady: I do not think Zazazu was trying to say he/she made the tattoo. If I got it right, he/she was stating that problems with distinguishing left and right do not imply spelling/grammar issues as well. Which is not what the other guy, Marhis, was trying to say, if I got him/her correctly: According to Marhis, grammar issues could also imply plobrems with reft/light; the other way round, so to speak. I hope this was sufficiently confusing.

If I have a single mom who wants to have many babies I find it quite useful that the pet(s) can bring home the money since I dislike NPCs such as nannies. The pets can't watch the kids, so the mother has to

How did you try removing them? I used the sledge hammer tool ( "j" key). Maybe it doesn't work with constrainfloorelevation false, but I wouldn't know why.

... it is really very easy to get rid of.
Is it? How? I just checked again, it is only moveobjects on, remove the uneven sideway tiles, flatten the ground and replace them. Fortunately the sideway flooring is included in the game

A suggestion: You could try playing other families, since the pet may walk by their house, and then befriend it, adopt it, and give it back to the original owner. I had a stupid family of wolf breeders once, they had a mother wolf, father wolf and four puppies. As soon as the puppies grew into adulthood they started to chase their father until he ran away. I had given him a collar and immediately reported him missing... and after some days I got a call that the police had found him and if I wanted him back. The same time the policecar arrived everybody got a bad memory and I realized father wolf had just died :O So the car drove away again, I didn't even get a gravestone. Never tried to breed wolves again

I wanted to add this to my post but I forgot: I have the same issue with the 3x3 lot morriganrant described. I think all the other testers just didn't bother to post because it is really very easy to get rid of. It would be totally awesome though - and I only say this because you, MutantBunny, already mentioned you were going to redo the 3x3 - if it was completely flat this time I do love Sleepycat's SC4 files.

Concerning the bill issue: I built another dorm on an ordinary 3x1 lot and had no bills there either. I also made a "normal" college residential lot from your 2x3 one and the bills came as usual, so this wasn't related to your lots or at least I think so. Sorry I didn't look upon this earlier. Does anyone have an idea what could be causing the bill problem? I am pretty clueless.

I tested the 3x3 as a dorm on a new terrain named "Enchanted Cove" from mts2. The only issue I had while playing was that I was getting no bills, since I was not particularly fluent anyways I didn't bother too much. I tried to remove stuck bills with the Lot Debugger but since this option was not available, I guess there were none. Oh and I noticed there is snow laying on the bottom of the sea in the sims' world. Looks funny. I will test the mail thing further.

Thank you for those. I was wondering if anyone else remembers that in PetStories you couldn't tell your pet to use the reward items. You could only tell them "use scratchpost" or whatever if you had a non-reward scratchpost in the house. I just tested the Catcondo with my main game and it's the same there, even though my cat is fully trained there is no command... use scratch-thingy available. Is it possible to link the command to the item?

Did you by any chance recently install the AnyGameStarter? I am having the same problem you are describing since I installed it. I am not sure it is the cause, but since I didn't change anything else, it is suspicious. ETA: Apparently other people have this problem too, I found this in the feedback thread: I also noticed that Darren Dreamer has his usual dark skinned head, but a light skinned body. This is definitely not usual. I am totally unawesome but maybe this has to do with a modified C:\programs:\EAgames folder, like when you prevent your game from goopyfying every new hood by renaming the thingy? Oh and uninstalling the AGS left my main game still borken.

TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: News Paper Thief in BV win everytime ?

When I see a paper thief coming and have playables still at home, I always tell them to greet the thief and as soon as he/she stops walking, cancel the interaction. The thief will then run away without paper. Still works with BV for me.

Thanks for all the help and advice in this thread. With Argon's instructions and fix, I was able to make my own locals, and I also noticed the new antiredundancy hack would not spawn a local if there already is one. This is convenient because the spawned locals will have random skin, eyes, hair and clothes. I also tried to make tourists and failed, but then I thought, what good are they anyway? The only thing tourists add to the game is spreading the greetings and dances to other places. Or am I missing something about tourists?
