Haven't played that much yet but it basically feels like Sims 2.5. As I already whined before, gone is the color wheel and so is the open world. There are some improvements and I think the sims themselves look better than they did in TS3. I do like to play it but I feel the novelty is starting to wear off already.
I've recently played both Sims 2 and 3 and while S3 has some nice features S2 is much nicer to play. I don't know what kind of super computer it takes to run S3 without stuttering and lagging and even when installed on SSD drive S3 loads like a crippled snail. Sure it's a bit faster than on ye olde harde drive but not as much as one would expect. This mess of code won't get fixed and I'm not having high hopes for Sims 4.
Ahem, anyway, the check box that let's you enable and disable the data logging doesn't seem to work properly (at least in my game). If enabletelemetry is 0 in Options.ini the check box is unchecked. If enabletelemetry is 1 the check box is... also unchecked! The only way to disable it is to manually edit Options.ini and set enabletelemetry to 0.
I haven't really played TS3 for some time. I've loaded it up and done some stuff but haven't really played it. It just isn't as fun as Sims 2, although maybe future EP's will fix that.
I actually know where that avatar is originally from. It's from Uzumaki. It's a Japanese horror comic where some really fucked up shit happens, like people turning into snails and then some people start eating those snails. Fun!
