Okay McCrea there is no need to be so irate and rude. If you had a problem then why not pm me? Regarding your post about what you had done, to be honest, I took it with a grain of salt as you are a relatively new member to MATY. Check out the Amoire of Invincibility for examples of substantial amounts of noobs who still can't get the AwesomeMod to install even though they have tried 'everything'.
I was fairly sure that I had managed to get a child to win ranked competitions as I had my sim up high in the rankings while she was still a teenager - something that is fairly arduous given the number of actual matches that have to take place. I had posted quickly and then needed to get home to my pc before I double-checked with another child. As for providing proof, I hardly think that is necessary as if Zucabr states it cannot be done with the current code, then it cannot be done.
Mea maxima culpa for posting without being at home.

I have stupidly been playing an eight person household as I rolled to let one of the parents get their lifetime wish of 5 kids. The repetitive nature of the quests gets tiresome quite quickly. As there are 5 kids, a new opportunity e.g. to deliver a fish to the science facility, deliver permission notes, attend a free game, work for a day and fix the school boiler pops up every 2-3 days per child. In itself that wouldn't be so bad but the quests overlap so if you choose to accept all of them, it is difficult to maintain grades and up-skill. Quests for adults & elders are not so bad as there is much more variety.
It would be nice if there could be some kind of cap per family e.g. no more than 3 opportunities offered/in the stages of being met at any given time.

For what it is worth, I have had a child beat a number of ranked chess opponents without problems. As mentioned by cyperangel you have to invite the person inside (if that is where the chess set is) and then click on the chess board for it to work. If that still fails, try buying another chess set as maybe that one or the chairs with it got borked.

One of my sims also got an opportunity to write a biography. She was level 8 in the Cooking career. She had only written 3 sci-fi novels up to that point and I wasn't really focussing on writing as a skill for her but I had her go through with it as the person wanting the biography was her boss.

"As for a plastic surgeon - no, we do not have one in the game. Your Sims resemble their parents or what you made them as. You can change a Sim's hair and clothing, but skin and facial features never changes." Source: EurogamerNow this really worries me. I like being able to improve the fuglies.

Has anyone else had issues with the neighbours complaining? I had a couple of dishes that were covered in flies and was going to clean up but the two next door neighbours kept coming to complain (4 times each!) so I couldn't tidy up. Cancelling the complaining in the queue didn't work as it seemed to override whatever the sims were already doing. The only way I sorted it was to wake up another member of the household and get them to get rid of the dishes while the other sim listened to the complaints.

TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Is there a new no-CD/no-DVD crack for FT patch #2??

@ Tigerlilley - yep I did. I was trying to take the same information as mentioned by the original poster & you and then explain it in a different way so that it would make sense for Lullabelle who seems to be having problems understanding exactly how to get SecuRom free and how to update FT.
@ Lullabelle, if you have reformatted your computer completely and not found any signs of Securom then you should be fine to reinstall all of your Sims2 games. Just don't install any of the FreeTime patches yet until a no-cd crack for patch #2 is released. You will need to install a no-cd crack for FreeTime 1.0 though in the meantime so you don't get SecuRom again.

Lullabelle, do you have more than one account on your computer? If so, have you checked for securom under each of the accounts? One person in the How to get rid of SecuRom, NOW thread said they could not find it under one account, but it appeared under the other.

Ok, so what you do Lullabelle is create a shortcut from your exe and use that rather than the shortcut which is created for you. That way, the game will bypass the launcher and load directly.
