As it happens, I do have XP.  And just created a new account to try opening it that way.  Guess what?  It works.

Considering I don't use Body Shop that often, this is an acceptable workaround for me.

I have the base game (obviously), university, and nightlife. All installed in the right order.

Ever since I got and installed the holiday booster pack, I've been unable to open BodyShop. It crashes every single time I try. It worked before I had that, and now it doesn't. I'm opening it from the same place.

Any ideas? I'm not reinstalling my game.

I so agree! 

One of my sim families has a toddler and 4 babies.  The wife got pregnant the old-fashioned way, the husband was abducted, and they both had sets of twins.  I've been putting off playing that particular house until this gets made NL-friendly.
