TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: Sims 3 Pets- Whats borked thread

When sending my sim to read "Cooking Vol. 1" she just stomped her feet beside the chair to her desk. I had to send her to sit elsewhere, I moved the desk chair out & back in, and then she finally took the book to read to room where I had her sit earlier.
I had forgotten to say that I ran the TSR Rig Fix before even trying the game.

Last I checked, crucial.com has a program/utility that will check your comp for what will fit in your comp and what you need. I've gotten RAM sticks from them before, and they have worked fine. My apologies if this is "shilling". [ETA] I'm sorry, but I've had too much wine tonight to tell what his OS is. If you have XP 32 bit, it won't be able to see more than 3.5 RAM; no matter how much you have installed. I don't know much about Vista; or Win 7 - but that is just becaused I hated Vista (refused to learn about it, even if my kid's comps had it), and got Win 7 64 bit with as much of a comp as I could afford.

Running game version 1.24 with all patches, expansions and stuff packs except Pets. Updated awesome mod this AM with 1.24 Final (and cleared the script cache of course.) Date on awesome.package is 10/18/2011 10:14 AM.
I'm using the original one (with an expiry date); haven't patched before Pets, and I have no problems.

Good on the ignoring; AM is updated quite promptly, although there are test versions put up before it is released 'into the wild'.
For a while now, Mods have been updated to patch number, not to EP/SP, so you should not have any problems. You *may* have to play without AM until it is updated though, but historically it is such a short period that it shouldn't cause much hardship.

Problem is... all us 'nice lurking people' already gave.... I'm sure we would all like to entice other people to join us. [eta] What about all us of us who give $50 get more than 10 PM's ? It would be nice for those of us who don't hate anyone and need to bother other peeps to try to make our avatards worth it. I have pm's from a Matiyzen that was translating into Spanish, and I don't want to lose his pm. I'm sorry, but JMP seems to think the same as me (from what I've read).... Getting a return on an Avatard (donation) is better than just giving with no return to MATY. I think I can quote him on it... I'll edit one way or another. [eta] http://www.moreawesomethanyou.com/smf/index.php/topic,20534.0.html You should pick someone who will give us more money to remove it, so that we can get twice as much money and maybe make it in time for the bill.

Ok then, I just need to read Rohina's suggestions; I would very much like it if she could choose a person who is willing to pay in kind. I can't think of anyone off the top of my head, and giving someone an avatard without reason (in my poor, miserable and underdeveloped brain - without them responding in kind) would just be a waste of an opportunity to get a title.
Umm... would I be able to get 'Baroness' (or the correct female counterpart, don't know much about titles) instead of 'Baron'?

Hmmmmm.... more gain on my investment in The Municipality if I give someone an avatard, and they retaliate; sounds good - but no idea as to whom to victimize. Can I get a bit of time so Rohina can come up with some suggestions, preferably with people who would be willing to respond in kind?
I'd be sad to lose my avatar, but if it's for the good of The Municipality, I can be game. I like Inge, would she be willing to play?
[eta] Would the avatard be good for only a year? I'd hate to lose mine for longer than that for just $50.

Is your niece's game patched up to the same level as your game? Remember, they fix some; they break some.
I can vouch for the kid's music following your sim around to work - my daughter kept a radio at the kid's station and moved it to wherever her sim went, and she got twins.

I've been reading elsewhere that for lots of people, patching has been unsuccessful. Has anyone been actually able to succeessfully patch since when it first went up? It seems like after a bit of being available, either they took it down or borked it somehow. I'm too chicken to try myself, but my daughter tried this afternoon (Pacific Time) and just got a 'file not found' message for the manual (akamai.cdn.ea) patch. The MTS Patch Downloader didn't seem to find it, either.
