Of course, this type of copy protection has disappeared now that everyone has access to the internet. Instead, we get Suckurom.
I remember the original Prince of Persia had a sequence based number or something (Page #, Line #, Word #). This code would give you a letter. (1 in 26 chance of being right). You had to enter a code every time you entered the game or levelled up. There were lots of chances to enter a letter. I had an Indiana Jones game based on The Last Crusade on my good ol' Amiga back in the day. One of the levels was based on wandering around the tombs, but to enter the tombs you first had to enter a secret code, which you had to find in the manual. There was a long list of possible codes and you had to match it up with what was shown on screen. If you put in the right one, you could continue the game no problem - collect all your collectible bits, and eventually leave the tomb. If you put in the wrong code, you were sent to a 'dud' tomb that had no collectibles and no exit, and thus you essentially failed the game

I got to the space stage, but I couldn't leave the planet or save. I was stuck. I was forced to quit the game without saving and now I am back at civ stage. I've been reading on some other sites that this is a bug or glitch with the game. Anyone else have this problem or know what the solution is?
Did you play through the "testing" part? I couldn't quit or save the game until I had gone through the testing of ship movement and abducting animals. After getting to the space stage, I loved the meta in the game, as throughout the creature and tribal stages I had come across space ships abducting other creatures and was wondering what they were doing

I managed to get an omnivore by just being lucky enough to unlock one of the omnivore mouths in cell stage. It's long and kind of looks like a trumpety sucker.
I finished cell stage with an omnivore mouth. My creature? An herbivore. So yeah, that doesn't matter too much if you eat too many plants. My cell finished as being a carnivore, but in creature stage it's marked and acts as omnivore as long as it has the omnivore mouth on it. If I take off the mouth, it reverts back to being carnivore.

I wish my screenshot of a civilization I uplifted would have worked. Didn't know that it didn't until too late. I observed a giant, holographic Black Beast of Arrrrgh! preaching to convert a city. Surreality, I haz it.
Like this? I was wondering what it was

Is anyone else finding the game characterized by constant violence?
If nothing else, I find it easier to be violent than to make friends. You just go in and destroy everything just like that, whereas making friends, you need to fuck around around a lot with instruments and showing off and such.

When I download something I make a folder just for it and put that folder inside the appropriate folder. I got tired of having orphaned meshes in my game.
That's what I do. I recently deleted my downloads folder and started again. Everything is in main folders by type (clothes, hair, skins etc.) and then I split it up by site/creator and then everything by them is split up by mesh/set. Every piece of clothing I download goes through the WW so i can make sure it's in the right bins, all hairs I rebin myself and then rename with the name of the mesh. I do it all as i go along so I can remember who made it so I know where to put it. My last downloads folder ended up being a mess because i could never remember who made what.

Really? I finished this morning, just shy of three hours ago.
So far so good, though I didn't have much time to play before I had to get to work. I'm at early creature stage. I got the Pacifist label after the cellular stage as I didn't attack anything. This is mostly because I didn't know how to. My doo-hickey had a solid "Run Awaaaay!" mentality. Movies are absolute cuteness.
EDIT: Things make more sense when you use your words.
I don't know if I was doing it right, but if you aimed your cell thingy at another cell thingy and wiggle the mouse around, they tended to 'hurt' each other depending on who hit who first/harder. I'm finding the mouse controls a little award.

Is anyone else's Bee Attack spell apparently AWOL?
It also worked for me, but it did take a couple of tries. I've been playing the Cordial sisters, and Kimberely tried it on a customer in the home business and he went kind of sparkly orange as she cast the spell, but nothing happened at first. I think I tried maybe three times before it did something. I thought it might not have worked the first couple of times because he had been browsing the store and had the sales bar above his head, so he was "busy".

Or have Eaxis added the romance mod to the game as well as ACR?
There's something weird going on with romatic relationships... I had the Cordial sisters get involved with that Armand DeB guy. He and Samantha fell in love first and then while only just friends with Kimberley he accepted her engagement proposal in front of Samantha. She didn't do a thing, but once he accepted the proposal Kimberley lost it and started slapping him for cheating I was surprised that Armand even accepted the proposal, because they were barely best friends, and weren't in love. I was expecting him to reject her.

I was wondering, when do i get the new skin? My daughter become Lightside too and she doesnt have the Light Witch Skin and I dont have the Dark skin. Is it also something that has to be unlocked? Thanks!
Have you tried studying? Mine didn't get the evil skin until she'd studied the spell book for a couple of hours.

My evil witches don't change color and my good witches don't get sparkle skin. It's more than likely because of my default replacement skins, but if it's just an overlay, why should it matter? Vampires don't have these issues. Grrr. Argh. I'm using default replacement skins and get the overlay for evil. I haven't yet gotten to see a good witch. I am, however, using a custom default replacement overlay for the evil skin from Insim. I have a replacement skin for evil witches and it works for me too. They don't get the evil skin until they've studied for a few hours though.

I played AL for 30 minutes this morning and these are the bugs I noticed:
- Trying for baby in the closet worked like this: Man sits on sofa reading a book. Woman walks to the closet. Woman opens the closet door, "*bling* I'm pregnant", woman closes closet door and leaves. Man is still sitting on sofa reading a book.
It worked fine for me, though it took a few tries before she actually got pregnant.

Can I throw in multiple hairs in the hair bin as a bork? I don't care if they have different coloured clips, but seriously! I don't need 234345 of the same hair. That's not a good thing! D: ETA: Ugh, and looking at the file names of these hairs so I can hide them, it seems as if they're colour blind. One named grey clip actually has a red clip, and one named red clip actually has a green clip, a red and black (file name) is actually green
