1  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Werewolf & energy strategy on: 2006 October 22, 08:00:25
I have a werewolf and his energy does get maxed upon transformation, although I haven't actually seen the change in hunger; I need to take a closer look at the hunger bar next time.

This is unrelated to the question, but I'm testing to see when he dies while he's a werewolf form whether his ghost stays in that form or reverts to normal.

It tends to happen in my game with a certain regularity since I tend to focus on a lot for a extended period before switching to another.

I had a sim have a date with his pregnant girlfriend, and afterwards she would alternate between sneaking and waddling wherever she went unitl I went to her lot to let her give birth... poor thing  Smiley
3  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Rare Photobooth picture. Has this happened to anyone else? on: 2006 June 30, 13:24:15
She looks suspiciously naked. Why is she running around naked?

She was probably planning on cleaning up after the party and didn't want her clothes to get dirty  Tongue

Actually she was fully clothed, is just that the camera angle makes her look as if she were naked.

We should bug some modder to make it so we can choose poses. Squinge is good at that sort of thing, I think.

Yes, I'm beginning to think so as well. It doesn't look like such an action can be triggered at will.

Autonomous use of photo booths just seems to be so rare, I've only seen it one time while on a community lot. I was playing some other family and was about to bring them home when I saw Mortimer Goth getting into the photo booth. I waited for him to finish because I wanted to know what'll happen to the photo when sims I'm not controlling at the time use the photo booth. Cassandra was also hanging around the booth and got in after Mortimer. When I played the Goth's lot next, they each had a photo in their inventory. I think it's kinda neat, too bad it doesn't happen often.

Indeed. When I went to her lot and checked her inventory I was glad that she had kept the photo with her. It seems that such an action is something only an unplayable character can do, which now makes me wonder if townies, downtownies, etc, can take such photos as well.

kewian: She is family as she was by default.

rome_raven: no, she had not even had her first woohoo by then. She was a party guest.

So far I can only speculate that such autonomous action is related to advertise some need fulfillment (sp?), probably comfort or bladder since afterwards she raced to the bathroom; then again that might have been that bathroom uses you caught her idle, so I can not tell for sure.
5  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Rare Photobooth picture. Has this happened to anyone else? on: 2006 June 30, 02:31:21
I had posted this previously in another forum since I thought it was kind of an inane reason to start a thread here, but since I failed to have any insight there I hope that I can get a better input from here.

Anyway, I had a sim throw a graduation party and one of the guests (Juliette Capp) went into the photobooth; I zoomed in and I realized that she had posed quite differently:

Every attempt I have made to reproduce the same picture have been so far unsuccessful; I placed a photobooth in an otherwise empty lot so the sim would not get distracted by anything else, and from my simple test any playable sim within the teen-elder range, as well as ones with extreme personalities and/or aspirations only stand there and do nothing.

So my question is, aside from knowing who else has seen a sim doing this previously, is that if there is a way to get a sim to take a picture in the same poses? I would like to have the chance of having other sims posing like that.

Most of it is rather accurate with the exception of playfulness; I think the question about curiosity influenced it a lot, and while I admit I'm curious I'm also very serious.

Thank you all for your answers; I guess that since I don't want to move my sim until I find the correct lot for the female thief I can teleport her with Inge's shrub then.

A couple of months ago I forced a burglary once with boolprop (at about midnight in that sim's house) and for some reason it caused an error on other lots whenever that burglar would appear, which makes me wary about using it for this purpose.
9  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: I look for a specific thief on: 2005 December 02, 00:37:05
Yes, I am aware that you could get a sim to meet the burglar by getting him/her out of the police car, is just that since NL is relatively easier to meet them since the event of the burglary now adds the burglar to the list of sims known.

Is just that it since a mailperson is assigned to a certain lot I was wondering if the same applied to the burglars or not. If the burglar is preassigned then, it is possible to change who is the burglar that will appear, perhaps by using SimPE?

And ZiggyDoodle, I didn't mean to come up as if I was having a verbal diarrhea, but I tend to get like that every once in a while.
10  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / I look for a specific thief on: 2005 December 01, 21:32:57
I have been lurking for a while here and partly out of a sense of shame is that I signed up, that and since I try to read the majority of what is posted here I find way more information than anywhere else so I don't feel asking a question if is already here or if I can't add something that would not come out being stupid (or ar least not so much).

Anyway, since NL introduced the chance to meet the thief by means of the furious state I have a sim that I have been trying to get to know the female thief for the longest time; so far the only one that he's met is the male one. Since I have noticed that the mailperson is not the same in every lot, I have been wondering if this is the case as well regarding the thief and that a determined thief is somehow assigned to a lot or if they cycle through the thief NPCs available at the moment of a burglary like in the case of the service NPCs.

Feel free to rip my lips off.

Thank you very much, this was a pet peeve of mine whenever I had a sim on a community lot.
