1  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Real Remote Management: No income decay on: 2006 March 28, 20:17:42
I just ban the frikken poor people from my businesses.  I'm not running a dang charity -- my sims are in business for serious simoleons! Cool
2  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Zombies and SimPE on: 2005 December 13, 02:24:54
I have almost all JM's and TJ's hacks along with several others with the InSimenator SIM edition and have never had a problem with conflicts.
And yes, Sleepycat, you are right in that you can switch life states of sims with the InSim from zombie to vampire to normal as much as you want.
3  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: OT - You know you're an internet geek when.... on: 2005 December 12, 14:39:21
I'm in the same boat as Reggiko and windy_moon because I have not purchased stamps since last Christmas!
My husband (who I did not meet online) and I just talked about this yesterday and we realized we have not purchased checks for about a year and a half nor will we need to buy any for quite a long while.  Online banking is great.....

That is crazy.  I've never seen that one before!
5  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: What Batman character are you? on: 2005 December 11, 01:29:50
I like that Oddysey!  Batman's batman -- that's a good one.  I don't feel so bad about being Alfred now Wink

Another Alfred added to the official count

Wishful thinking, KG.  Like Baddmark my faith in Maxis is not great.

Check out this link -- http://www.snootysims.com/tim-mail1.php

In the second picture where the sims are shopping, all they have to choose from in the shop are the same old tired crap that Maxis has stuck us with in the past.  I hope they decide to make some new content for stocking the shops, but like I stated before, my faith in Maxis is not great.
8  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Anyone recognise this outfit? on: 2005 December 06, 01:38:56
That is the outfit for the celebrity chef -- and windy_moon, I don't know what they were smoking, but it must have been good!
9  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: POLL OF THE WEEK: Does BlueSoup Have A Fat Head on: 2005 November 29, 19:20:27
Hoo boy!  Getting out or getting some might be of help to JM in the flirting department -- and, Blue, "Freudian slips" usually have some basis in fact, according to old Sigmund.
10  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: POLL OF THE WEEK: Does BlueSoup Have A Fat Head on: 2005 November 28, 07:33:47
She does not have a fat head!  Maybe J.M's vision is bad because he lives in the dark or maybe there is some sort of toxic gas seeping into the bunker somehow that is blurring his vision and perception?  I think a full investigation is warranted -- and while the investigator is at the bunker he or she can sneak in a digital camera.  The flash should give enough time to escape burnination........I think!
11  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Teensy Tiny Minor Bug with pillow fighting on: 2005 November 22, 14:39:03
It's stupid, but still hilarious!  If it can be fixed, that would be great, but if not, oh well.  Although I'm sure His Awesomness or TJ can figure it out in all their spare time!
12  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Game throws new Curve on: 2005 November 16, 23:39:04
Emma,
Here is the link for the bed -- http://www.modthesims2.com/showthread.php?t=82193&highlight=swinger%27s+bed

I'm not sure if the risky woo-hoo hack works with NL or not, but here is the link -- http://www.modthesims2.com/showthread.php?t=40087&highlight=swinger%27s+bed
13  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Game throws new Curve on: 2005 November 16, 23:27:50
Maybe absence made his heart grow fonder?  Who knows -- I just wish it would happen with some of my sims!  LizzLove's bed works great in NL now that it's updated.
14  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Maternity clothes? on: 2005 November 16, 14:42:51
Check out this site -- http://www.thesims2uk.co.uk/index.php

You will need this hack to make them work -- http://www.modthesims2.com/showthread.php?t=8259

The maternity clothes show up in pajamas so that's what you have to dress your pregnant sim in, but the clothes look great.

Hope this helps!
15  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Those Magic (Pause) Moments on: 2005 November 15, 19:56:14
You're welcome, Zephyr!
16  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: How much is too much on: 2005 November 15, 16:15:57
Well, I don't feel quite so bad about my 2.49 gigs!  I did delete all my downloads before NL and then redownloaded and sorted into subfolders.  Took a while, but I'm happy with the organization, and it makes life easier if I want to get rid of something.
17  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Those Magic (Pause) Moments on: 2005 November 15, 00:26:28
Pity they can't wear custom PJs!  A nice maternity lounging suit would be cool.

Zephyr -- check out Sims2UK for maternity clothes.  They show up under pjs for the pregnant sims so that's what you have to dress them in, but they've got jumpers, suits and dresses.  They look normal on the preggers sims too.  Hope you like!

18  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Who Are They? (A Guessing Game!) WINNER ANNOUNCED! on: 2005 November 15, 00:19:27
Or else we should have a rule that all female avatars denote a male in RL, and all male avatars denote a female.  don't know where that leaves me, though!

Hmmm...or me either. Can you tell that's a male cat in my avatar? lol. I always assume (and we know what that say about "assuming") that people know I'm female until I stop and think that "Kelly" is a unisex name.

If nobody can tell your cat is male, I don't think there is any hope for guessing the sex of my avatar!  Huh
It's a female BTY, as I am.
Kelly -- I actually assumed you were a male since I know only one Kelly, who is male.  Just goes to show how "assuming" never works!

Every bunker needs some ammo.  You can find some for your J.M. here  http://www.savagesims.com/index.php
20  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Does this make sense? on: 2005 November 09, 04:13:22
DawnRider wrote this in TJ's good-bye thread --
"A bit hypocritical to go to the bother of a sweet speech, do you not think? It obviously a joke you make and must make this site sadder then if you just left with your mouth shut. Leaving a site that allowed everyone your downloads, and seemed to have treated you very decently and go moving to a site that spends more time bashing this one then doing anything creative. Why be nice when you obviously enjoy and think this bashing is true and your going supports it. It is obvious your message is all false and snide.

Some of us have come to really want and love your mods so taking them to a site where access is not granted unless you are known to the owner and liked by the owner and willing to bash another site for no other reason then its fun for you to do so is an unkind thing to do to many of your fans."

I found this funny because I had no problem accessing this site and I am not known by the owner nor am I probably liked!  Some people don't understand sarcasm and jokes and that is so sad for them.  Of course theisz had the perfect response before Rentech locked the thread even though there was no name calling, but I guess the truth hurts.  Everything was nice in that thread until DawnRider had to open their mouth and start the screaming.  So typical of the hypocrisy at that site.

Oh well, glad I found JM and TJ here so there's no need for VS in my bookmarks.  And yes, nipples do kill people -- well, at least they kill fembots!
21  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: I have Simpotence on: 2005 November 09, 03:10:20
Feeling your pain, Motoki.  I just bought AOE3, and I'm not happy with it so I'm back to my Sims.  I created a really nasty family since I haven't played one before to see if that will peak my interest again or maybe I will try the e-mail challenege.  We'll see!
