Well, he wants the SAVE FILE, usually stored in the SAVES FOLDER, not all your fucking screenshots and mods an-

ugh

I hate you people.

The Sims 3 directory is over 6GB in size for me. I cannot say how big it is for you, but it's a hell of a lot bigger than "reasonable to rar and upload".

Just rar up what you think he wants. From a techie stand point, too much info is better than not enough. Sheesh. It's not rocket science.

I can't get the game to load at all for me with AM installed in the TS3\mods\packages dir. It just sits at the loading screen. I left it idle for about 10 minutes just in case it was a slow load. If I place it in the Ambitions dir, the game loads, but the mod isn't read.  This is with and without other mods installed. And, without AM (cries) installed, the game loads without issue. Other mods are working.

I'm beginning to think Steve Jobs took over The Sims division of EA. This is just like trying to jailbreak my iPhone everytime Apple pushes an update.
3  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: Sim 3 Patch Notes Realeased 1.5/1.6 verison on: 2009 November 20, 19:23:47
My Sims no longer have any skills, their bookshelves are empty, and they can no longer buy skill related books.  On top of THAT, the majority of my sims are stuck inside whatever piece of furniture they were occupying when the game was last saved. Since I just bought WA and went thru patch Hell, I don't know if it's Patch or game related.

The skill thing happens on new games, so I know it's not part of the save-bug.  Has anyone seen a work around?  Since I enjoy Sim murder, I don't mind wiping the whole thing out.

UPDATE:  OK, my brain's a bit slower than usual, I should have tried this first.  I wiped out all of my save files and forced the game to create a brand new neighborhood.  I opened an existing lot, walked the sim around, saved and relaunched.  It appears to be working.  I should have gone into coding.  Then, everyone expects you to fuck up and you even get paid for it.

I've never had any of this happen.  I wish I had.  Maybe it has something to do with neatness being set to 5.  It's a good threshold: Eat faster, but turn off tv and flush potty.  I have a child sim who ended up with 10 for neatness, so I'll see what happens when he's a teen/adult. It sounds hilarious.
5  Awesomeware / The Armory / Re: No Offer Cheap: Don't Give Away My Store! on: 2006 March 28, 15:50:18
Y'all never cease to amaze me.  I couldn't figure out the point of selling all your items below profit, and then my sales staff is doing on their own!  UGH!  No wonder my cash flow was always negative.

Thanks, Dude!
6  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Double Bed in Inventory Bug? on: 2006 February 22, 17:01:20
Yeah, I just found it.  I'll see if it works. I'll have tp wait a while on my desktop, tho.  And for some reason my XPS laptop plays TS2 REALLY slowly.

You know, I looked at this patch the other day and when I scanned over the list, I thought for sure I had already downloaded it.  Then I read here that it was posted on 7 Feb and thought what-the?  So here we go again...

Thanks!
7  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Double Bed in Inventory Bug? on: 2006 February 22, 16:47:20
Whenever I pull a double bed from the inventory it no longer functions as a double bed.  A couple can sleep on it, but they won't spoon and can't interact with one another beyond Chatting.  I also have to truen moveobejcts on to place it against a wall, but I have to do that with almost anything coming out of the inventory.

I'm not sure if this is a known issure, or isolated to my fooey profile.

Mucho Gusto!  Gracias.
9  Awesomeware / The Armory / Re: Stuck Object Remover on: 2006 February 22, 16:33:31
Will this fix the problem I have on Uni Lots with Flamin' Poo Bags?  Even after my sims stomp it out and clean it up, the environment score is -100 and the flies keep buzzing.

What?  It's not my fault the Gypsy keeps brinigng ugly dates so I have buy a new one...

(seriously 5K and she brings a Romance Sim for a Fam sim?)

Is there a way to tweak it so they talk even less?  My sims are still taking forever to eat, but it's getting there.

Or better yet...  Not fall asleep in their food.
Try No Eat Crap II: Electric Boogaloo.

Thanks, I found that one last night, so I plan on trying it sometime today.  I had gotten to the point where none of my sims have dining tables.  Just chairs and couches.  Ever notice that you can tell them to eat dinner with the energy at a level that shouln't put them to sleep, then they talk so freakin' much that they fall alseep ANYWAY?
11  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Brandi Broke's Third Child?? on: 2006 January 16, 14:12:23
NOTE:  You need Uni for resrect thingie and NL to bring back Bella, Skip, and Darla.
Who is Darla?

DOH!!!!   I mean Darleen Dreamer.  I have Finding Nemo on the brain.  "First you were like Whoa!  Then we were like WHOAAAA!  Then you were like whoa."
12  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Don't mean to offend anyone with this... >> (Or do I?) on: 2006 January 16, 04:33:34
I'm looking for white trash, and redneck sort of themed clothing, hair, lots, etc, etc.

I found a few on TSR, but not nearly enough clothes. I intend to make a new neighbourhood, and fill with rednecks, and hicks. Y'know, with a few tossed in nice houses, just to make it look strange. ^^ Probably make it a desert terrian.

That's who I found, for redneck items and such. I know, bad me, right?

I just want it to be as slummy, and dirty looking as possible... links would be great

HEY!!!  I resemble that remark...  I mean resent that remark.   Cheesy
13  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Brandi Broke's Third Child?? on: 2006 January 16, 04:32:32
That's the other thing I've noticed.  I've heard of people resurecting Bella with the Nomitron.  But everytime I make Mortimer, Cassandra, or Alexander call up the Reaper her picture isn't there.  Guess that's something else I'm missing out on by doing things the old fashioned way.

I was able to resurect Skip Broke through the nomitron though.  But quit without saving.  Skip being back doesn't fit into my grand scheme.

You need to bring her back in with the tombstone of Life and Death first.  Exit the lot and Save.  When you go back in, it should say that Bella died on another lot, and her spirit will go back there.  You can resurrect her at that point.  NOTE:  You need Uni for resrect thingie and NL to bring back Bella, Skip, and Darla.
14  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Please kill the college school cheer on: 2006 January 16, 04:29:27
I once used Rodney's Death Tester to experience a "Save from Death".  But aside from that I ignore the want everytime it spins up.

Recently I had to save a sim from death that I didn't intentionally cause.  A sim with low machanical skills had a run in with a nasty trash compacter.  And I couldn't be bothered to hire a repairman.  That was a shocking experience.

Snicker...
15  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Please kill the college school cheer on: 2006 January 16, 04:27:02
I have "Flamingo of Death" that I use for various types of deaths, but mostly I just boolProp their hunger to nothing at let them starve.  Depending on how much they've irritated my by spooling the "Be Saved From Death" Want over and over, I may even let their spouse Plead with the Grim Reaper.  More likely, I'll laugh manically while their family cries.... Roll Eyes
16  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Please kill the college school cheer on: 2006 January 16, 04:06:05
Private school uniforms are available as an everyday outfit, aren't they?  Anyway, sending your sims to private school has all sorts of bene's:  Start teen career at a higher levels, skill building wild cards, start ADULT career at higher level (non-uni grad), start adult career at REALLY high level (Uni-Grad Career related major).

Why DO sims want to be saved from death?  I mean, I know if I were dying that'd be one thing...  But a perfectly healthy sim?  Okay...
17  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Please kill the college school cheer on: 2006 January 16, 01:17:25
The cheer thing gets old when the mascot or cheerleader won't leave.  I delete them when they show up on my lots.

Other than that...

Gerbitts! Gerbitts!  Rooooh Gerbitts!!!
18  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Edit Memory Icon on: 2006 January 16, 01:11:13
I'm trying to change the image on a memory Icon using SimPE.  I can export the image, but there isn't an option to import the new one.  Any suggestions? Huh
19  Ye Olde Simmes 2 Archives: Dead Creators / Ye Olde Crammyboye Archives / Re: Easel Usage fix on: 2006 January 16, 01:03:22
Groovy, baby.  I've always wondered why sims can't scrap another's painting on their own.. At least now I won't have to worry about it so much.

Cheers! (and many thanks).

We're not worthy!  We're not worthy!  We're not worthy!

Thanks yet again...

I'm sure I'll be saying this several more times before the night is through.

Ahhhh....

I knew I had seen this hack somewhere.  Thanks so much.  Uni just takes way too freakin' long.

Happy (belated) Holidays!
