TS4: The Pee-ening / Insert Amusing Name Here / Re: Sims 4 is out what's the scoop?

Anyone else kind of annoyed at how long it takes to save up money in the game? It's kind of a double edged sword because in the previous games it was way too easy to rack up cash, but I think replacing broken items takes up way too much of a family's income, especially as items get nicer. I had kind of hoped that my test family would have enough money to move out of their starter by now, since the two adults are at least level 7 in their respective careers. Maybe I'm just playing it wrong, but I also take almost a week to get promoted even though I try to do the daily tasks and send my sims to work in the correct mood.
Stop replacing the broken items. Even my Sims with pretty low handiness levels seem to be able to fix the items. Send them out fishing also if you need more money. It's easy to rack up the cash that way.

They move every time you open the collections guide. It is possible to close and open it and return to the pattern previously experienced - which is what I do when I want to update a collections contents.
Where'd you get the pomegranate?
I got it fishing in the fishing pond in Sylvan Glade. EDIT: And in fish, there's a Rainbowfish, trout and a Batfish.

Oh dear. I don't know that this is a pointless question, but it is a stupid one. I don't care for it and it would be fun to watch it blow up... Anything I can do to cause this relatively quickly, without corrupting the program files?
You do know, don't you, that the BFBVFS is not a literal event but figurative? Well I've got my first neighborhood that I ever made, several years old, already kinda fucked up due to me not knowing what to avoid (at least half of its population has been deleted over time).
Congratulations, you've achieved your BFBVFS.

I've read through all of the posts regarding the violin issues, and I don't believe I've seen a particular facet of the violin skill complained about yet. When I try to have one Sim with the violin skill and a maxed logic skill teach it to another Sim, it doesn't appear. But there was a blank option on the pie chart that turned out to be the violin skill. Anyone else have this problem, or is it just me? Is there a fix I'm missing? I do have the updated mods.

No CC except this lot. No mods except kt's and Awesomemod. It's a completely fresh game.
Thanks for the mod link, wizard_merlin.
edit: kt, you were right. Even though it was a new, regenerated Electronic Arts folder, once I replaced the ccmerge file it worked perfectly. Thanks

I don't have a way to test this, so here it is MATY:
Do you have these two plants in your game? Do you have a legit copy of the Al Fresco lot or did you decrap it from here? I do not have them and no matter what I do I can't seem to get them. I have to wonder if it is because my copy is arr'ed?

Necromancy is bad, yeah, yeah, but this bitch of a bug is annoying since it's my Sim's main source of income.
Patched up to 1.42, Seasons installed. Winter came around, the plants all went dormant, and now that it's Spring all of the plants have sprung back to life, though stuck in a forever harvest state (but not harvestable). I attempted to have my Fairy Sim create a new plant and bloom it to maturity. Then it too went to harvest and sat there unharvestable.

Fairies sink into the floor until you change them into a different outfit; all you can see of them is their wings. I noticed it when I loaded a saved game, and then when my Sim was around town I noticed it on a random fairy Sim.
