TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: Moodlets + Six Bars vs. Eight Bars

Interesting. How does the algorithm work for an unemployed sim? From monitoring the habits of the unemployed, their schedules are completely whacked out and acyclic, much like real life. That does make sense. I was annoyed that my unemployed sim wanted to get a good day's sleep before starting on her painting and I thought it would be more productive to go ahead and paint until she got tired, but I guess it all evens out in the end. The machine is smarter than I am.

Actually, the calculation for energy is special. What it's doing is that it is determining the sims's "Wake Up Time", then sending them to sleep at the point where Expected Recharge Time intersects "Time To WakeUp", which should result in the Fully Rested moodlet at full power right before work. The machine is smarter than you are.

If this is the case, then why does SupCom have them fill motives when they're half-full? If I remember correctly, it a problem in TS2 when that happened; why is it suddenly a problem now? Because I like to be proactive and anticipate and counter problems before they actually occur, and therefore, my AI reflects this. This gets annoying when I activate SupCom on a sim to have it perform some task and it decides that it would rather sleep for the rest of the afternoon instead of doing anything productive. Perhaps your AI could treat the energy motive differently than the others since it takes so much longer to drain and refill, and a 40% full energy bar is not something that needs to be attended to immediately at 4pm?

TS2: Burnination / Oops! You Broke It! / Re: Lot loading screens not updating

I've done both of those. I've also deleted my groups.cache file and my neighborhoodmanager.package file, and enabled testing cheats to see if some error was getting generated. No dice. I've put up some photos to better illustrate the problem:
[link expired - problem solved]
I had another idea, though. This is the default Pleasantview neighborhood that I've been playing since day one, but I did recently move it from the N001 spot to N002 so I could put the merged neighborhoods in as N001. Could that have had this effect?

She is a member. I had her invite several members of the house to a party at the dorm and befriend them, and she was accepted into the house immediately upon asking to join. The next time I played the dorm lot, I clicked on her and selected "Move to Greek house," and she moved to the house normally. The loading screens for both the sorority lot and the dorm lot haven't updated, though I've loaded, played, and saved both lots a couple of times since.

I moved one of my sims out from the dorm lot she was living at to the sorority lot and have played both lots since then, but she is still present on the dorm lot's loading screen and is absent from the sorority lot's. It doesn't interfere with gameplay, but it is a little odd and annoying. What would cause those screens to stop updating, and is there any way to force an update? I have all EPs up to Pets and my hacks are mostly awesome (+ InSIM).

TS2: Burnination / The Podium / You've already met aliens, Vidcund.

In Strangetown, Vidcund Curious has a "Meet Aliens" want that was fulfilled when he was abducted while stargazing using the telescope. He still has the "Meet Aliens" want, though, and it keeps coming back no matter how many times I reroll his wants. Is this normal? I would have thought that "Meet Aliens" would be like "Have First Kiss" and such in that it would not come back once it has been fulfilled.
