yes, when I play it is ts2.  I never bought ts3 and don't ever plan on it.   I still have fun with ts2 and my goofy little people but actually ts1 was my all time favorite. My sims in ts1 were partying fools.  24/7.     

I have the latest CEP #9 and I did e-mail the creator but they never got back to me but I showed it to Jonsei and she said "well it looks okay in the game, so not to worry about it"   Thanks everyone for your answers. 

How do I fix a blue object?  I just downloaded buggyboos sweet slumber bed but the recolors will not show up because the object is blue in sim cat and in the game.  Not flashing but bright blue and that is not the color of it. It is messed up.  Thanks

 I was reading some posts the other day about clearing out your cash and your saved sims folder and I got to looking and I don't have a saved sims folder.  My games still works but I don't know if it deleted itself or it didn't make one that last time I reinstalled which was several months ago.  I remember I had one at one time but I never did use it. What is it for anyway?   

sometimes when my bodyshop won't run,  I run  %temp% and in there is a folder that says  low and in it are files that say  ~DFD3E6.tmp and I delete that and it helps but sometimes If I have tried running bodyshop it will not delete so I have to restart my computer and then delete it. Sometimes there are three of them in there with different numbers so I delete them all.  I don't know what it has to do with bodyshop but it helps if deleteling the cache does not.

no, I did not know about the shift click on the debugger but I will try it tomorrow when I fire up the game.  Thanks so much for clarifying that for me.   

 I don't even have an option that says Prepare for deletetion in my lot debugger.  What is wrong with mine?  I have the batbox edition.  Now  Brandi Broke wants to be friends with herself and best friends with herself.  Does that mean I have a duplicate of her or is it because I let her play with the helicopter toy?  I know the remote car would cause that type of problem but does the helicopter remote toy cause the same problem?
 Also I have looked for Prepare to unlink in the lot debugger,  with the cheats on and with the cheats off,  I give up.     thanks

after reading this, I deceided to get rid of the memories and such of the sims that I deleted from the sim bin but I do not have an option called  "unlinked sims" in my lot debugger. I looked through all the options.  Maybe I don't have the right version of it or something.  Where in the lot debugger is it located?   thanks   

thanks JM.  I will try to update my drivers but I can't win for losing because before when I had newer drivers, when I am building a house every time I place an object in it, the house and all dissapear for a second or two and then they come back.  I would not have known that except someone with the same driver that I have had the house disappearing issue and they had to go to an older driver.  My video card is Radeon HD3450.  I miss my NVIDIA driver that I had on my other computer.  Thanks again.  


It worked this time. I downloaded the newest drivers and my houses do not disappear when I put objects in them and no more holey clothes.  Yah

I had a lot of outfits with holes in them, iike flashing black, you can not see the holes in bodyshop, only in cass. Well I deleted a bunch of clothes that had holes in them because I thought they were not done properly.  but yesterday I was going through all the teen girl clothes and she had a default outfit with holes in it.     Do you think I need to update my video driver or what? Any help or advice would be appreciated.  thanks

no he is not preggers and I changed his clothes two different times,into non default clothes.  I know that if you delete the outfit they will just put on default clothes but no he takes off his whole body.  lol.   thanks

When I clicked on the house to load it up, Loki Beaker had a head but no body. Then after the house loaded he had on default clothes. This has happened to him two seperate times now. Do you think he is furbed or what?  thanks

the names of the spells are crazy.  I went to Ign and read the guide and it said  Purgomagnus, eliminantes temporary magical spells.  So, I will try them both. 

what is the resume spell called?  The one that froze them was called Magnus Matatio,  I think.  Not exactly sure of the spelling on that.

I meant to cast the spell that makes it sunny out but instead I cast the spell that made all my sims on the lot freeze in time.   I was at a community lot so I sent my sim home.   How long do they stay like that? and is there a way to make them move again?  A spell or something.  I was just wondering, if I go back to that lot will they still be standing frozen in one place or back to normal?
 I can never remember the names of the spells, even though I have them written down.   

I copied the objects folder from the disc and replaced it with the old one but that did not help. Someone suggested that I might have some corrupted CC,  probably another painting or poster.   Now I have to do the removing and replaceing custom content dance.  Oh crap, that will take me all day tomorrow.

I don't have the default of some of my sim game pictures,  only the recolors.   I want to replace the sim objects files with the ones that are on the AL disc but I forgot how.   I use to replace my object folder from my disc in uni because it was always getting corrupted until I learned to mark it read only.
 I know that you insert the disc and stop auto run and then you go to my computer and click on the drive that has the sims in it and then you go to TSData\res\objects but after that I forgot what to do.  Do you click on open or decompress or what?    I am going to replace the one I have with the one from the disc and then maybe it will fix my pictures.    Also I do not want it to  auro run from the disc  because I don't want to get secure rom on my computer but since M&G is my latest disc it should say,  you have a later disc and not run but I will still have the cd in the disc to get my object folder off of.   Can anyone help me?   thanks
I hope this didn't sound too crazy.  

I found out that the problem was the default replacement paintings I was using.  They either became corrupted or were not compatable with later eps'.  I deleted them and all of my other default painting showed up again.   Hooray.

I never had a sim passout from heat stroke until now.   I was just wondering do they finally wake up or do they die?   I had the antii weather hack but then I read that it is just to keep them from looking out the windows. 
 Is there a hack to make them immune to weather related  problems that will keep them from reacting to the weather.   What happens if they get to cold,  do they die from that?  thanks

okay because the hugging problem or any other problem that I have been having lately did not start until I installed the Happy Holiday pack.  Then the hugging and e-mail problem started and my kids homework and all my fences started disappearing.  Yesterday my whole back yard was on fire and nothing was burning and I could not put it out. I reinstalled the whole sims last weekend because someone suggested that it was because I had not installed them in order.  I am going to reinstall again but without the Holiday pack, it has borked my game badly.   thanks

but I can't find them in the AL dircectory.  I can't stand those kids running outside when I have them set up to do other things.  I guess the e-mail thing I could live with but not the no hugging hack.  Maybe his Awesomeness will tell me what hack he incorporated the hugging hack into that does not conflict with his phone hack  but I am a little afraid to awake the sleeping dragon. lol

I had to get the noautoemail hack and the no hugging hack.  because my sims are saying they have no new e-mail and the kids are stopping whatever they are doing and running outside to hug the parents.  I know these are older hacks but I had to have them, but when I ran the hack conflict utility it said that they were conflicting with lesswhiney and the latest phone hack.  I can't remember which was conflicting with which, you know how flakey I am.      But should I use the no auto e-mail and the hugging hack? Are they obselete?  I got them from the Tsdu directory.   thanks.  I sure hated to have to delete my phone hack.

no, honey I did not mean to offend you.  I have nothing against people in India.  I just have a hard time understanding their English as they would probably be if I were speaking their language.  Some American companies outsource their support calls or else they charge you a higher fee to speak to someone who is born here and speaks our native tongue better.
