Thank you for your answers!

I would prefer to use something other than familyfunds, but Monique's AutoPayments seems to require all EPs, and I only have Nightlife and Pets. That would be fantastic if it worked, though, because as it is I'll have to do taxes manually. Thanks for the tip about money order! I'd never downloaded it before, but I just did. That should make things a lot easier.

Hi, this looks really fascinating, but I had a couple of questions, if you wouldn't mind helping me out a bit.

First thing is, how did you do bars before OFB? Is it possible to do that on a residential lot? Is there some sort of "pay bar" thing, or did you do it some other way?

The second question is, I notice you use familyfunds a lot. But what happens when one person moves out and starts their own family, but the two families have the same name still. I'd think that would make it hard to use familyfunds for just one of them. Is there a way around that?

I guess I'll just leave those sims in the bin, then. Oh, well. Thank you.

Then you're limited to either creating them one at a time in CAS, or using the lot debugger (or insimenator?) to change their last names.
Or you can spawn a townie per time with the tree (set gender to female), but then you have no control over name and clothing.

Thanks! I guess I'll try those.

What would I do if I wanted to take these out of my game but I already created Sims with them? Would I need to delete those families first? I assume there's no way to change the geneticized skin to the same non-geneticized skin without SimPE. Sad

Hey! This looks like a great tutorial, but unfortunately it seems to require SimPE to create custom Townies and Downtownies and NPCs and I have a Mac. Is there any way to do this without SimPE? It sucks because I'm trying to create an all-female Amazon neighborhood, so I want everybody to be female, and thus need to custom create them.

Lastly, I have the fantasy skins: elvish/woodsy types and finally alien. I don't want aliens popping up in my medieval hood, but don't mind elvish in strangetown.

What skins do you use for elvish/woodsy types, if you don't mind me asking?

Hmm, okay. It just seems odd that all four children would follow the same pattern, especially since I have a lot of different skins. I guess I'll do some more testing.

Thanks for your post.

EDIT: I did a bit more testing, and it appears to have just been a coincidence. I feel dumb now! Oh, well.

Hi! I created this account to post this question, but I may stick around.

Anyway, I've just downloaded a bunch of your geneticized Enayla normal skins. I did a little testing, and discovered something. I'm not sure if it is a bug, a feature or a coincidence.

What I did to test was create four Sims. An EA Dark male, an EA Light female, a Dusk female (the darkest skin I downloaded) and an Alabaster male (the lightest skin I downloaded).

I bred them together, with these results:

Dusk and EA Dark: Dusk
Alabaster and EA Light: Alabaster
EA Dark and EA Light: EA Olive
Dusk and Alabaster: Something different, looked like maybe Sweet Fall?

So, looking at this, it seems to me that when I breed EA skins together and when I breed a custom with an EA it treats it as it would if they weren't geneticized, but it works when I breed two customs together.

So, I'm just wondering if you know why this is.

Thank you!
