1  TS2: Burnination / Oops! You Broke It! / Re: Faceless Vamp. on: 2007 July 17, 23:58:31
Well, I tried the mirror again, didn't help, so I let her finish her graduation party and sent her off on her way. Moved her into her house, and tried again, still nada. Ended up buying some Vamprocillin-D and inviting the Count over again and had her sister influence him to bite her so I could get him out of there before he attacked her sister and boyfriend. Problem solved now.

So my college sim gets bitten by one of the Counts and everything is going good, until I look at her new vampified picture. She has no face. Well, I decide, whatever, she's fine otherwise so must be a slight glitch. She had just graduated so that night I had her throw her graduation party. When she spun into the gown, she became faceless. I had her change appearence to try and fix it, but all it did was change her face to her regular light tan skin. Rest of the body stays grey. I had a default replacement skin, so I exited without saving, which was a save right after she was bitten. And removed the skin. Replayed the same scenerio, nothing changed. Any advice?
3  TS2: Burnination / Oops! You Broke It! / Great, I knew Maxis would break my game even more someday... on: 2007 June 27, 02:14:03
Well, I installed that new patch. Before doing so, I forgot to make sure everyone was at home, so now one of my family's cars dissappeared since one of the sims took it to work. The game obviously thinks it's just away at work since the parking space is reserved for it. How can I get it back? Huh
4  TS2: Burnination / Peasantry / Re: Empty and Cleaned-up Templates. [UPDATED] on: 2007 June 25, 20:03:39
I get that, but what I want to do is copy the Pleasantview into my neighborhoods folder (as in the one in My Documents) as N004, so that I could start playing in that neighborhood without all the Maxis sims and Townies, and keep playing my old neighborhood as N001, so I'd have Pleasantview 1 (mine) and Pleasantview 2 (empty). Or is the only way to do that to pull mine out and then put in a copy of yours... and then when I want to play my old one to put mine back in and pull the new one started with your base out.

Ok, so I already have some families I don't want to lose in Pleasantview, and am too lazy to mess extract them and then mess with them in SimPE. Is there anyway I could get your empty templates and somehow tweak it into N004?
6  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Copying a neighborhood...? on: 2007 June 24, 01:15:08
How can you copy one of the premade neighborhoods... say Pleasantview... minus all the sims. I want to be able to keep the neighborhood I play, but have the layout of lots and decorations of Pleasantview minus all the work of re-laying out the lots and the trees and all that junk in a new useable neighborhood. There's always the obvious dumb way, backing up my neighborhood, resetting Pleasantview, and then deleting all characters and sending my neighborhood into an inevitable doom sooner or later, but I'd prefer a smarter and more practical way. Adding Sim State and Bluewater into the mix would be nice too.
