Okay, I have got to get M&G now. There's so many of these houses I want to download and can't!
Plus, seeing the beautiful gardens everyone's made makes me want the stuff in my game.

So, if I put in the template after I install Apartment Life and before loading my custom hood, I should be able to avoid having unwanted new households in my Sim Bin, right? I don't remember what I did for the previous EP.

Well, I just looked at the neighborhood in SimPE, and there are fourteen other strays in this neighborhood that I haven't seen yet in the game. I'm looking forward to having them show up and being nuisances at all my Sims' houses. 

I can live with the one cat, so I guess I'll just take my chances that there won't be any more.

Yesterday I was playing a household in a new (clean) hood. The game lagged for a few seconds, and a cat I'd never seen before appeared on the lot. I have all the "no regeneration" hacks, including nostrayrespawn, and they're all up-to-date. My game has never automatically generated a stray with these hacks in my game before (besides wolves). I haven't played since, because I don't want the game to generate any more pets. Is there a way to keep it from doing so?

Power Idle works best with free will turned off. I like my sims completely lobotomized.

You need to have debug mode turned on, and shift-click on the Lot Debugger for the option to show up.

As far as FFS goes, I have the BV director's cut and everything else from the hack directory except Zombie Apocalypse and noxylophonepee (I find the xylophone sound amusing). I also have all the playsets and toys, the portapotty from Pet Stories, a couple of things from the test directory, and makebuyable.

I sent a couple to the Hidden Burrow and they both made friends with Bigfoot. Only the first Sim got the memento. And I'm not moving him in so I guess she will never get the memento. I'll definitely send them one at a time from now on.

no20khandouts is great, and harderjobs helps prevent things like Sims getting a position as a CEO right out of college.

It worked, my lists are back now. 

Unfortunately I saved the first family. I didn't save the others. If I replace the neighborhood file with the backup one from before I installed the stuff packs, with CC enabled, would I be able to see the list again?

I'm having problems with the sync timer. A couple of weeks ago I installed H&M Stuff and Celebrations Stuff, and haven't played other than to check out the new stuff. Today I decided to play. It's been awhile so I didn't remember which family I was on. I went into a lot and clicked on the sync timer to see which household was at the lowest day. The menu looked like this:



There was no "List..." menu. So I entered a few other households to see if they had the same problem. They all did have the list menu, but there was only one famliy on it.



The household that doesn't have the list at all is the only one that's showing up on the other family's lists. I have eight households that use the timer.

Might this be related to the stuff packs I installed? That's the only thing I can think of that's changed between now and when I played last. I have the latest version of the timer.

I have this hack installed, and Santa came and visited without any bathroom problems. He didn't even use the toilet at all. Either this fixed it, or something else did.

I think I would get arrested if I wore that "everyday" outfit outside.

As for the kid thong...anyone who has that in their game should be ashamed of themselves. How many downloads did it have?

Not even old ladies are safe.

But I thought the Pets patch wouldn't do anything if Seasons was installed. 

I never even thought of doing that! Now I can thwart all the angry stalkers!

Is there really going to be a Seasons version of the patch? I can't find anything "official" about it anywhere. Why didn't they tell those of us with Seasons whether to download this patch or not?

I'm also really sick of the autonomous water balloon fights. My Sims will go outside in the rain and snow to throw water balloons at each other. It gets especially obsessive if the Sim is even a little bit in the red, temperature-wise. I'm always X-ing out stupid water balloon fights and directing them to get a drink of water out of the sink. Why in the world can't they just autonomously do that instead of trying to goad other Sims to hit them with a water balloon?

Concentrate did not help. I didn't have nopedostalkers so I put it in, and that doesn't seem to do anything either. College townies, trying to cool down after working out on the treadmill, were still able to cancel her job and start water balloon fights with her.

As an experiment, I lined up my Sim's queue with eight "Work as Barista". The first time, she went through all of them (immediately canceling out one to get to the next one) and got a lot of money. The second time, the off-duty barista interrupted to bug her and managed to cancel out every last one all at once. 

I've come across an irritating new "feature" while playing University today. My Sim was very low on simoleans, so I sent her to a community lot to work as a barista. The problem is, she wouldn't stay working. Every time some bozo on the lot wanted to bug her, she'd immediately cancel being a barista and change out of her uniform to recieve the interaction. I'd cancel the interaction and send her back to the espresso bar. She'd change back into her uniform and work for about 10 seconds before another Sim wanted to talk to her again and she'd cancel the interaction again. This cycle went on about eight or ten times before I finally gave up and sent her home.

Is there a way around this or am I stuck with having her perform for tips and hustle pool?

I have problems with the pet wants too. I have both TwoJeff's nopetobsession and Pescado's antipetobsession, they help with Sims harrassing the pets and with Sims having constant wants for Adopt a Puppy/Adopt a Kitten/Adopt a Puppy/Kitten, but I still get want spam to interact with and give commands to the pets they already have. My Sim went to college and for the first four semesters all her want slots were clogged with the stupid family dog she left at home. I'd have her invite one of her parents over so they could bring the dog and keep her in green, the Wants would stop until the next morning when she got out of bed, then they'd all be about the dog again. Finally in her Junior year the dog died of old age and the wants stopped.

When I had a Servo pawn off some of his surplus dogs on an unsuspecting townie, he rolled the want to adopt one of them back the next day. AAAARGH!

This has all been since Seasons too. I was hoping the new Seasons wants would make the Pets wants less annoying, but it's worse. Now I get spam for "Command Rover to Come Here" and for "Go Fishing". 

How can Don have gotten struck by lightning if you don't even have Seasons?
