I wish someone would release the DLC alone cause I refuse to pay $15 just to get the one I need. This is my big problem with Sim games and their DLC prices, I have never had any problem buying DLC for games but in the sims world is just way too expensive.

This so much. When I first got it I was mad and wanted to returned it but then I calmed down and decided to just focus on what is there and not what isnt. Now Im enjoying myself a lot more. Is it a great Sims 4 game? No, its missing too much of what I consider Sims game standards to be that BUT it is a good game if you play with what you got. Some stuff are really cool to and fun to play with. I think all this game needs is one or two EPs that bring back all those classic things we love to be great.

Honestly, all I need is a color wheel. I can do without most things but the lack of color choices and how very little matches are just the most annoying things for me. Im not asking for CASt but for all thats holy give me a color wheel. That really shouldnt be too hard on the system.

I like some thing but mostly Im just frustrated with the lack of simple things that I feel are just a sims game must and the cluster mess that is gardening. Also, whats with menus being all over the place? I have to go all the way up just to change floors.

But my #1 most hated thing is the lack of CASt. Seriously my sims house looks like a flea market reject. NOTHING matches in color or style.

Well, I can finally make toast.

All I did was say Fuck it and just started a new folder, installed all my game stuff and just started a new game. I really dont get why that would make it work as oppose to a folder with only the mill set but it seemed to do so.

I always have to start a new folder when I install something new since for some reason things disappear when I do. So i need a fresh install each time.

Thats were I've been trying it from. I get the scone option and eat it perfectly fine, I just dont get the toast option. I also notice that when I look at my tea set from far away the middle of the tray becomes transparent and I can see the table. I was looking at the video and this doesnt appear to happened to others, so for some reason this set is just not working right for me.

Still no toast. I give up lol no one else seems to be missing the option so I just dont get why I am.

Nothing. I even made a new game folder and only installed this set with your fix but still no toast. I really dont get it.

Edit: I tried again, this time with no other mods just in case but no toast.

The only thing I notice is that while trying to find what was wrong I removed the scone files in the xml and that finally gave me a toast on a plate but the minute the Jam was applied, it turned into a scone.

Edit 2: To explain it better, if I remove the scone files then ingame I still only get the eat scone option but when I select it, it will plate a toast and once the jam is applied it will turn into a scone.

Has anyone been able to eat jam with toast? I cant seem to have the option.

Yep after some research I found this too. Just deleting this file and the .tmps should make the game start as always. Thought I notice that when I use the launch again the .tmps come back but this one doesnt.

Seriously I wonder if the Sims 3 team test things at all before releasing them. Patches often break things more than they fix lol

Is anyone having problems starting their game after installing everything from the store?

After installing Island P. I started a fresh game and installed  all the store crap released till now, I always install little by little since if I try all at the same time they don't install but as I was getting to the last ones I notice the launch was taking longer to load.

By the time I was finish the launch takes 2 to 3 minutes just to appear and starting the game directly will take quite a few times since I mostly get "does not respond" I also notice that the first time after just staring my PC the game will start fine but if I quit the game and try to start it again it will take many tries. Once I tried like 6 or 7 times before giving up and restarting my PC.

I decided to delete the folder and try just installing just a few thing and the game worked perfectly without a problem and started instantly, both the game and the launch.

So, anyone else having problems or just me?

OMG Thx. It was driving me insane not being able to find where the info was or the name of the plant.

Its 'cause I like to change the info on the plants, like the amount of harvest and other stuff, but I need the right names for it to work. Unfortunately accessoryEggPlant wasn't it, neither was purple eggplant or eggplant plant. I don't know what else to try and I cant find anything in the two eggplant packages. I just don't get where the lemon and eggplant are getting their info from since there is no xml with it in any of the packages.

Between a funny looking lemon and not finding the correct name to put, I'm hating this Premium Content just a tiny bit lol

kissing_toast do you happen to know the correct names for the Purple Eggplant?  I've been trying to add it to the plant list xml but cant seem to find the names. I was able to add the lemon tree since it was already there on the store plant list xml but the eggplant isnt and its driving me insane.

I dont know, they both look pretty good.

Same here, no serve option. I redownloaded everything and started with both a new sims folder and a new world with no other mods or downloads.

I did it two or three times to make sure but still nothing.

Ok After testing I found out that the tree of whatever conflicts with any mod that changes skills.

Am I the only one with broken skills? The same actions that would raise my garden skills from 0 to 4 now only raised from 0 to 2.

LOL Ok About the wild card: Hilarious.  About the spelling: Its is my biggest fear when I write in this board to be insulted for misspelling, So I make sure to copy & paste to a file where I can spell-check (I'm Hispanic so spelling is my major flaw)

I did copy & paste the name from the sims 3 website since I save the original files with the correct names in a folder for any emergency.

Decrapifying is way too easy. I did the text thing and all i need to do is put the 3 files and the sims stuff and thats it, in second I have funtional stuff.
