Eh, I can see that. It does have a few mean interactions that may be appealing (tranquilizing handshake for one), but not a heck of a lot, admittedly. Have not yet had the chutzpah to play a sim that Hates Kids and have them Crush Toddler's Dreams yet, though. I tried to do that with my own kid, but it is too much like its parents and is as cynical as we are. How the hell do you crush the dreams of a kid that wants to be a tax attorney? Ahh, so you *do* have a kid by now. Congrats!

Have you even TRIED getting an up-to-date version of the game? It's basically impossible. Point taken. That's not really my thing. What's MISSING from the game is the opportunity for Sims to generally fight and have utterly dysfunctional relationships like seen in TS2's Awesomeland. No handbag walloping. No Punbot-smacking.

I'm surprised that Pescado isn't interested in playing the cracked version since there are a few murder and mayhem mods out for the game that are rather well done. Some features that I've seen are: drowning in your own pee, embarrass a sim to death, and a Chucky mod that allows the toddler to set things on fire and literally stab a sim to death using an actual knife and results in a bloody stab wound and the immediate death of the victim.

However, when they use it, they technically do get aged down but their hair and clothes remain in the Elder stage. Is there any way to fix that or did I just neglect to follow proper procedure? (I installed the Core Functions just in case).
That's normal when aging down an elder, at least the hair. Send them to the mirror a couple of times and give them a change of clothes, and they should be fine. *bleats in your general direction*

Hmmm. I downloaded the Holy Grail because I wanted to resurrect and age down a bunch of elders in my game. However, when they use it, they technically do get aged down but their hair and clothes remain in the Elder stage. Is there any way to fix that or did I just neglect to follow proper procedure? (I installed the Core Functions just in case).

I'm a Sims 3 girl all the way. Don't get me wrong, I enjoy playing Sims 3, but for me the all around game play of Sims 2 is much better. I'm able to truly play the way I want to play with my many families. Is there a way that you can install both games on your computer? Then you'll be able to play in rotation of both games.
There is indeed. You install one, and then the other.

Also, I find it difficult to believe (if I just automagically thought of it independent of the #grah view, which I did not know at the time) that Aggie and Kewian did not foresee the "ghost husband" idea, nor Rhayden's "unlucky criminal" idea. Quick question here: why would I need to "foresee" anything? Kewian is having difficulties uploading anything to MATY so she asked me to do it, that's all.

Try resetSim first, but even if the toddler's icon is gone, you may be able to evict it from the town edit screen and re-merge. If you have to take an adult out with it, move their inventory to someone else in the house first.
This worked perfectly, thanks so much. The internet: you're doing it wrong. Common sense forces me to agree with you here.
