Loser infomation

-You gain a huger moodlet from victory or prevailing over others
-You will gain more difficult oppurtunities at your level for lesser gains

Do rocks and minerals have any use other than selling and putting on display?

Adds to decor which adds to mood, add a nice garden and you will get a very nice enviroment boost as your sim relaxes in the garden.

Culinary

-Very low maintenance Career, requiring only cooking as the only skill with good workplace relationships.
-You get an improved Food Processor and a Fridge that boosts all food quality by 1. Leftovers also last longer in that fridge.
-You get half price meals for the place, not that it matters since the only place worth going is the Bristo
-Can switch between restaurants for speed/mobility.

For some reason, the crime warehouse is utterly borked after my superspy broke in.

They are for displaying, nothing like having a personal collection of Palladium bars as a little gold reserve. It adds to your enviroment value immensely.

Completed the Culinary career, got a new fridge and a food processor, apparently the fridge ups your dish quality by 1 level.

On the rabbit holing though, some people don't like it since they have to shell out more cash for the game when it could be delayed to allow interactions in the places. One user wanted the game to be delayed indefinitely so he can watch his sims inside the classes.

I was wondering what are the minerals for after you refine them? Just decorations?
10  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: THE HORROR: The REAL TS3 Scoop As It Unfolds on: 2009 May 21, 23:54:25
So any idea what are the minerals for once refined?

Well, finally got a chance to witness the horror, I was quite mortified they gotten rid of the hot tub. Oh well, at least we can wait for the countless expansions we have to pay for to iron out the kinks and add more borkings. Though I wonder what level I got to be to eat dim sum

Indeed, it is essentially the perfect anti pirate technique.
14  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: How does the game choose the "one hobby" on: 2008 March 10, 04:51:19
Of course it's easy to gain enthusiasm for whatever hobby with the new web options, but where's the fun in that? I wanted some fun (fun for me, that is) activities for my science sims, too, not just systematically raise yet another couple of bars Sad.
Well, obviously, not all One True Hobbies are enthralling to watch, and some of them are outright annoying under certain conditions. Science is not the most dull one out there, though. At least the Stargazing actions give cash prizes. If you want a REALLY boring hobby, Cuisine seems to be the dullest by far: Seriously, what is there to do? The only thing you can hope for is that the necessary grind for the cooking points your sim needs to SURVIVE will give him enough interest to unlock the Intertube actions, because other than that, what *IS* there? Gluttony does not exactly make an interesting hobby sideline. On the other hand, it's quiet, inobtrusive, and gives your sim an excuse to sit in front of the computer all day, just like you.

If all else fails, you can always drink some nectar and juice, when Angelus aint working or cooking dinners or having woohoo with his wife, he is trying veronaville nectar.
