1  TS2: Burnination / Peasantry / Re: Empty and Cleaned-up Templates. [UPDATED] on: 2009 May 17, 01:51:59
Hi, I'm wondering if somebody could make me a cleaned up and empy version of Belladonna Cove. I need a totally empty hood w/no playable charachters in it for a challenge I'm doing. I tried reading the tutorial, but it just make my head swim since I'm neither a programmer nor a techie. Also, once this hood is made, is it possible to kind of tweak it in SC4 to add more roads or should that be done before? Thanks!
2  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Vampire Stalk on: 2008 November 13, 02:04:13
Ok, I looked at his character file in simpe (the guy in my throwaway hood) and found out that he doesn't have BHAV files. He is a cured vamp and he only has BCON files. The only thing different is that this hood and character were generated by the Any Game Starter. I'm not sure if that makes any difference or not. I just looked at my cured vamp in my good hood and stranagely enough he has both BCON files AND BHAV files! What can I do from there? Do I delete all of the values in the BCON files? I'm in totally new territory here, lol.

Yeah, I'm trying it on one of my throw away hoods first and see how that goes. If it works and my game doesn't explode, then I'll do it on the hood that I normally play. I already found out that the simpler method of aging him down and then back up doesn't work.

Thanks Lord Darcy! I'll look into both ways to totally curing him of the vamp walk.
5  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Vampire Stalk on: 2008 November 10, 03:21:11
Yes, that's what I was referring to was the arm in front of the face. Actually it hides their snarl. I had my cured vamp carry the baby once to her crib and since he was carrying her in his arm that he normally puts in front of his face, you could see his snarl. Anyway, is that hard coded in or can it be blocked or taken away (the arm in front of the face and the snarl?

Hi, is there a hack somewhere that makes the vampswalk like normal sims or is the stalk hard coded in? I had one of my sims marry one of the grand vamps and then had him cured, but he still stalks like he did before. If possible, I'd like to get rid of the stalking too. Thanks!

At least in my game the only way I've been able to proscribe something is w/another sim in the family. Just now the daughter decided to play in the tub, but I can't proscribe that or the bubble blower w/anybody in the family.

ETA: I'm not sure why I wasn't able to proscribe them before, but I finally got it. I had tried before w/everybody in the family, but wasn't able to do it. It worked this time!

I can't proscribe the bubble blowers. When I select a different sim, the only option I have when I click on the bubble blower is to blow bubbles! Everything else works great.
9  Awesomeware / The Armory / Re: The One Shiny: Autonomy Control on: 2008 October 03, 07:29:22
Is there a way to include bubble blowers in the no autonomy actions? I have a family who has a venue business w/the bubble blowers and for a whle I had free will off and that drove me nuts to tell them everything to do. Then I d/led your mod and it works great except for that. They are constantly heading for the bubble blowers when I'm not watching them like a hawk. Thanks!

I take it that this hack is only for AL? I don't have that ep just yet, but I will soon. I downloaded and installed it, but I have no autonomy actions at all regardless of what I click on. If this is only for AL, then I'll remove it until I get that ep.

ETA: I figured it out and it works.
11  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Seasons: What mods are you already begging for? on: 2007 March 15, 19:59:08
My most wanted hack is one to give our NPC friends (enemies?) some sort of a rational desire to wear outerwear when appropriate. I don't know about you, but my mailman doesn't come trudging through knee-deep snow in a short-sleeved shirt and a pair of shorts.

NPCs are coded to be immune to temperature. They did not come equipped with cold-weather versions of their uniforms, and thus were not able to use outerwear.

Does the same apply to Townies?  For purely aesthetic reasons I find it annoying that they never seem to appear on residential lots wearing any outerwear.

Another mod I've been wanting actually since the EP was announced is changing the sunrise/sunset times. Where I live, it's only light from about 9 am to 3 pm in winter, and in summer the sun doesn't set until 11 pm or so. So I find the darkness of the Sims summer quite depressing. It should be light much longer during summer than during winter.

I have no idea if it can be done or not, but I would love it anyway.

I would really love something like this as well. That was one of the reasons, I was looking forward to seasons. In reality this is kind of the whole reason for there being seasons, isnīt it. So I really hate, that they left that out. And I would love longer summer days simply for gameplay enjoyment.

And I second the request for gardening affecting the fitness level.

I agree! I do gardening irl and it is hard work!

Is variability in day length through the seasons something we can look forward to then?  I hope so regardless of whether the motivation is long days or eternal darkness.

One request I haven't seen mentioned is the possibility of planning a sims wardrobe according to the season.  It would be more realistic to see a sim wearing a t-shirt/shorts as everyday in th esummer and a sweater/jeans in the winter etc.  Is this possible as a mod that would apply to all dressers, or even to one customised one?

I whole heartedly agree w/the outerwear issue. It driving me nuts to see townie coworkers come home w/my sim in the winter w/nothing but a pair of pants and a tank t-shirt on!

I would also love to see a mod to adjust the length of days according to the season and also for sims to wear appropriate clothing w/o you having to go to the dresser and constantly change them yourself.

Thanks Dopp! Heading over there now!

This is related to customers shopping. I have a hack on another comp that is in the shop right now that allowed playable shoppers, but when they bought something it would not show up in their inventory nor was the money deducted from their house finances. It was called shopnosave hack and I loved it. Does anybody here know where to get it? I've forgotten where I got it from. If worse comes to worse, I'll have to wait til my other comp comes back.
14  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: No Age Descrimination Hack on: 2006 July 02, 07:43:31
Yes! I do and yes, I was using Monique's comp! lol. This family can easily afford another comp, lol. That would explain why the hack "doesn't work." LOL Thanks!
15  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: No Age Descrimination Hack on: 2006 July 02, 04:09:43
You must have some sort of conflict or something. I just checked it, and the elder was able to get a job starting as a security guard. He also made it to Medical job level 3 before applying for that. Do you keep your hacks in their own folder?

Yes my hacks are all in their own folder.  Thanks for the suggestion. I'll go thru my hacks and see what happens.
16  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / No Age Descrimination Hack on: 2006 July 02, 01:51:26
Hi, Does anybody know if there is an updated one that works w/OFB and FFS? I d/led the OFB NoAgeDescrimination hack and put it in my d/l folder, ran the game, and tried to get my elder a decent job, but the only things he can get even thru the comp is level 1! Like School Crossing Guard in Law Enforcement. He has MANY more skills than that which is required for level 1! Does anybody know anything about this? Thanks.
17  Awesomeware / The Armory / Re: No Baby Harassment on: 2006 June 05, 19:52:19
I looked and could not find any No Baby Harrassment there. The only thing I found was a baby controller which doesn't really work that good. I have a household of 2 adult women and 1 teen who are constantly waking the baby up to put it in the crib whether it's in the crib or on a sleeping mat. It's driving me nuts! They will drop what they're doing and go wake up the toddler or baby! I used to use this w/NL, but not sure if it's compatible w/OFB or not. I suppose I can try it, lol. Thanks!
18  Awesomeware / The Armory / Re: No Baby Harassment on: 2006 June 01, 23:05:10
Hi, Do you know if this hack is compatible w/OFB? I hae a household of three adult women and EVERYBODY is trying to feed the dumb baby every half hour or less, lol. Thanks!
19  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Lot Debugger on: 2005 September 26, 19:24:51
Thanks guys! I'll look into it. Right now I had to do an emergency fix until I got an answer so, I isntalled the no repo man hack.  Smiley
20  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Lot Debugger on: 2005 September 26, 06:05:45
Hi, where can I get a copy of your Lot Debugger? I looked in the list of hacks and it is not there unless it's called something else. I'm having a prob w/bills and from what I've read it seems like I might have the invisi bill bug. I don't have any ep's so, I don't know if this is actually the prob or not. I have my sim pay the bills and they have to pay them twice then I get the warning about deliquent bills from the collection agency! I didn't think this would happen b4 Univ. I haven't put any hacks in recently and except for careers, yours, TwoJeffs and Carrigon's hacks are about the only ones I use. Will this even work on an original game? Thanks!
