TS2: Burnination / Oops! You Broke It! / Buy/Build Mode Issues
|
on: 2010 January 20, 01:46:47
|
I accidentally (the whole thing) deleted my sim's pregnancy token before the pop-up box to name the babies showed up. My buy and build mode are still disabled. I think the game still thinks she's giving birth, even though she's not and the pregnancy token for it is nowhere to be found. Is there any way to get my lot back to normal, or is it borked?

TS2: Burnination / Oops! You Broke It! / Missing Character Data
|
on: 2009 July 03, 16:34:32

I have a sim with missing character data after what I am going to assume was a bad lot load.
I wish to delete this sim, but every time I start with the "Deleted 2" process, the game crashes to the desktop.
How do I delete this sim?

TS2: Burnination / Oops! You Broke It! / I broke something...

Something is broken, but I am not awesome enough to be able to read Error Logs.
I get this error, repeatedly, no matter how many times I hit "Reset," "Cancel," or "Delete."
At first, it was just with the two men of the house, one an elder, the other an adult. I turned off Free Will and turned on the Auto Idle function for Macrotastics and this solved the problem until today. Now I get a repeated error for whichever sim is selected at the time. Not even deleting them and bringing them back works.
I have everything up to Apartment Life.
Also, there's an Excel spreadsheet sitting in my log folder now called "OETreeDelete.xls."
Edited because I forgot to attach the error log. *facepalm*
Edit 2: I finally found that the problem had something to do with bedmaking. I deleted the beds they were trying to make and the problem was solved.

TS2: Burnination / Oops! You Broke It! / Oops- Occupied Lots in the Lot Bin
|
on: 2009 January 17, 16:32:21

I accidently put an occupied lot in the lot bin, instead of moving out the family like I wanted to.
I was planning on deleting this (entire) family with the Deleted 2 method, but they don't appear on the Batman Box now that they're in the lot bin.
I don't care about either the family or the lot, so how can I go about deleting them?

Does first-born syndrome always happen, or only sometimes? When you start the game after saving and exiting, the game will automatically produce your firstborn, Baby #13. So if you have your sim give birth, save, exit, and have them give birth again, they will have the same baby again. I've had a family with 20 kids before I knew about the Lot Debugger's function, and each of them is a clone of the other. Just to be clear - it's the personality that is cloned, not the appearance of the sim. I've had both. :/

This happened to me when I got BV. I opened it up and it "politely" informed me that Seasons had been uninstalled. I reinstalled it, and it never happened again.
I don't see how tight pants could produce that much of an issue, however, you might want to make sure the suckrot is gone- it does produce said kind of issues.
Which brings me to the question WHY?!?!? won't they get a new anti-piracy program instead of forcing their customers to remove it for the sake of their computers? That defeats the whole purpose of having anti-piracy software!

Would it be possible to convert the "Randomize Sim Generator" feature into a standalone neighborhood object that, when placed in a neighborhood, would run its function every time we loaded said 'hood?
DO WANT.

TS2: Burnination / Oops! You Broke It! / Error with Cars
|
on: 2008 July 26, 14:53:18
|
My game is throwing an error when my sim leaves the garage in her car. The car itself is custom, but I've never had any problems with it before.
At the time of the error I had all EPs, and SPs 1-6.
EDIT: Wrong error log.

Tight Pants? I remember reading on the Kitten Killer's forum that the Clothing Tool Globals conflicted with InteenB package. If you have both of these, then you need to pick one or the other.
However, this may have NOTHING to do with your problem, especially if you don't HAVE the Kitten Killer.
I would recommend if this is the case to install Paladin's HCDU and do a scan.
