TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Paysites Must Be Destroyed destroyed?

Not helpful. The links to http://paysites.mustbedestroyed.org/ and svt.paysites.mustbedestroyed.org:8080/booty/ts2/ produce: "The connection has timed out The server at paysites.mustbedestroyed.org is taking too long to respond. The site could be temporarily unavailable or too busy. Try again in a few moments. If you are unable to load any pages, check your computer's network connection. If your computer or network is protected by a firewall or proxy, make sure that Firefox is permitted to access the Web." So do direct links to specific items. svs.paysites.mustbedestroyed.org:8080/booty/ts2/ is problematic, but still sometimes works. The Tumblr and Facebook results that come up are just bizarre. Although the invalid link is still displayed at the top of this page, since PMBD was a Pescado Enterprise, I hoped a more reliable link was, in fact, available. Apparently not. When I google Paysites Must Be Destroyed THIS link comes up as the very first one. When I click on it I am taken to the page about Paysites Must Be Destroyed...but when I scroll down...BOOTY. http://svs.paysites.mustbedestroyed.org:8080/

Sorry, English is not my native language.....I deleted all links....
You didn't need to do that. I was having a brain dysfunction yesterday and was being nice. It is actually good to have multiple options. Especially if someone just want the harvestables and not the other stuff. You could put them back up but note that one is just the premium content and the other is just the rest of the set.

Hey, KT, just a heads up, Microsoft Smart Save Filter, on IE is blocking your stuff. It has identified all of your stuff except the store patch as malware. I was able to download with firefox no problem, but I just thought I'd let you know.
It isn't KT's stuff that is sending the alert. KT uploads to MediaFire and there are ads. It is the ads that are causing that malware alert. It happens to me all the time.

I agree. I didn't want to download InLivid and avoided it for a long time. But I wanted this set so I made the decision to download InLivid and did not whine or ask for someone to upload it on another mirror. Be grateful someone was willing to make this available and if you don't want InLivid, then do without the set.
What the hell are you talking about? I was able to download the set WITHOUT downloading InLivid. InLivid is an ad. You don't need it. That is how you get viruses and malware on your computer. Sheesh, what an idiot.

The 4Shared one is asking me to log in and the Media Fire one doesn't do anything.
All 4shared links require an account with them to download now. It's a fairly recent development, I think. They must have done that just after the new set was posted because I was able to get it without any type of log in. Luckily there's a facebook log in so it's not too bad. No, it's been that way for several months. I was able to download just fine and I don't have an account. It was still showing me as having the fake email address that I used to 'register' the first time. All people need to do is 'register' a fake email address.

TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: How do I install fixes of store content into my game?
|

You need the item to be installed, a crystal bowl of water consecrated by moonlight, a sharp knife, and a linen cloth.
First slice your left thumb open a bit and let three drops of blood drip into the water. Wrap your thumb with the linen cloth and say these words.
Yo gabba gabba, banana fo fana, me so happy, ooh ah, only at mattress giant
Install the item as per usual.
Dump the water/blood onto ground consecrated by sunlight and the blood of a virgin pig. Bury the bowl and the knife nearby. Burn the linen cloth.
You forgot about wearing the Sacred Headband Adorned with a Foil Wrapped Rat. This is very important.

I did do that with objects, but I was hoping to find a way to do it with the new neighborhood (aside from doing it the unbelievably complicated way). There's a guy on demonoid who is still updating each month, I was just trying to see if I could get it before he gets around to incorporating it in the March update- oh well!
Also, thank you for not responding with, "Here's a fix, buy a decent computer." I'm in art school, and the big kids make fun of the PC users.
Well I'm a big kid and a self-employed Graphic Designer and I HATE MACS! I use a PC. Tell the big kids to go fuck themselves and think about buying a REAL machine.

Awesomeware / AwesomeMod! / Re: Help me please, for I am stupid - crash issues
|
on: 2011 May 14, 15:40:46

Are you sure it's Awesomemod? Because live-mode only crashing typically means that your game needs MOAR RAMS. Have you installed another EP or SP lately?
Try searching for how to add the game to the DEP Exception list. Granted you have more than 2 GB of RAM to begin with... and a PC. If not, you need a new computer, or ask one of the Mac people for that. And if that doesn't fix it, or you've already added the game to the DEP Exception list, then I'm going to blame it on tight pants.
Live-mode only crashing doesn't always mean MOAR RAMS. It happens to me occasionally and I have 12 GB of Ram. (And yes, they are all being recognized by my system.) It could also mean a conflict. It happens to me occasionally when I add new CC or hack and I have to remove it, then the crashing stops. However, since the OP had to install the framework, it can be assumed there is no CC except that which is installed through the launcher.

Wow, and all you say I'm a dick. :/ Okay, I was tired, wanted help. So I made a few mistakes, so what? I like putting things bold, again, so what? You guys are suppose to be helping, I came here for actual help. I have searched all over, still, no. Same thing every time. FOUR people replied to me, only one gave me a little advice. Thanks alot? You say this is for tech help? I got no help.
Who changed the rules and said we were supposed to help?

TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: Can my game be better if I upgrade my machine?
|
on: 2011 February 12, 16:56:10

the problem is that there's no way to quanitify the age of my machine. My floppy disc drive is probably 10 years old but the rest of my machine gets regular upgrades. My MB is younger than my video cards and my RAM is younger again.
You still have a floppy disk drive? Wow, this is my second generation machine without one. NOTHING I do will fit on a floppy disk anymore. What about the age of the box? That houses the power supply and if it is really old, it won't support some of the newer hardware.

Yep, just grab the object. You may have to wait a moment but the cursor will change to a different hand and you will see up and down arrows that indicate that you can then move the object up or down.
Not everything works. I wish they allowed the stupid skill certificates to move up and down...but no such luck.
