1  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Hair and clothes not showing up in downloads on: 2007 September 20, 17:59:40
Thank you so very much Cwieberdink. I change the lowercase d to a capital D and it worked so well.  Thank you everyone for your suggestions.

I am having a problem with hair and clothes not showing up. I have the original meshes that go with them. Objects and hacks show up fine, just not the hair and clothes. I recently had this problem after my hard drive crashed (everything lost) and I had to replace the hard drive. My graphics card was upgraded as well as adding more memory. Before all of this I had no problems at all with adding hair and clothes.

I don't want to be a pain Hegelian and I truly appreciate all the advice, but I really need to know: what brand of computers tend to be the best for gaming?  I am on a Gateway right now and the next computer I want will have to have  everything I need for gaming. Thank you.

I am not that computer literate  Wink. I really would like a computer that handles the sims games really well and a few other programs that run in the background. I tend to have a problem with my virtual memory and that is the basis of me wanting more space and memory. That particular computer would run me almost $4500.

I was looking into getting a new computer and I am hoping someone could help me with a few things. I love to play different types of games on my computer as well as the sims 2 and expansion packs and on my computer i have now i get a lot of lag so i would like to upgrade to a computer with more than 512mb of memory and 80gb and this is the computer I am looking at right now. I was wondering if this computer would be more than sufficient for running games.

I usually like games that you can build an empire. I had hotel and casino empire and I pretty much like those games. I of course love my sims. I didn't care for that singles game. This game interests me because I like some games that have a storyline. I might check it out and see what its about.

It seems that they are coming out with a desperate houswives video game to get more female gamers like the sims. Here is a few links.

It has my interest peaked even though I don't watch the show.
8  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Post problems you've noticed, on: 2006 March 14, 23:12:01
I just experienced the problem with the sims dying of natural causes (old age). The age transition doesn't clog up the queue anymore but they die and their children aren't receiving their inheritance. I have hacks but they mostly come from here. I have lizzie's lovebed and medicine cabinet.

I think when ever servo touches water like swimming, washing dishes, or fixing broken sinks and showers It will run amok which defeats the purpose (almost) of owning a servo. You can never really fire the maid but servo is very good with babies and bringing in extra money.

I had servo go wild on me but that was because everytime she queues up chores if the shower was broken she get all wet and power down. In the morning she would be running amok thank goodness it did not affect the other robots.
11  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Anyone experiencing a lot of alien births in Strangetown! on: 2005 November 18, 21:36:30
Thing is all of the births are natural. I haven't had any of those aliens look through the telescope. Johnny's wife gave birth to a son and then had quads and all of them were alien just not alien looking but had the alien skin and before NL they would have had a natural skin tone. Thanks for the reply I can't wait to get Don and Ajay into my custom neighborhoods heh.
12  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Anyone experiencing a lot of alien births in Strangetown! on: 2005 November 18, 20:04:50
It seems that after NL my strangetown has become an alien town. Every alien is having alien births even Johnny's wife Ophliea (spelling). I know that alien skin is supposed to be so recessive but now Stella, Johnny, and Lola are all having alien babies when before NL you could not get any alien to have any alien babies.  And can someone help me with SimPe I would like to make a few of my favorite sims from strangtown and pleastantview and put them in my own created neighborhoods.
13  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: You Want Drama?! Just Invite a Drama Professor ... on: 2005 October 18, 16:37:09
One thing I noticed with the drama prof.essors is that whom ever they come into contact with they  get an automatic 100/100 relationship with pink and red hearts. I threw a party at Uni pre NL and I used Merola's mirror and the drama professor didn't have a relationship with some of the other students until she started up a conversation and boy did that cause a lot of problems even then.
14  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: More issues with NL on: 2005 October 10, 16:48:09
I haven't read this around here or on any other forums, but recently I have experienced a problem with the vampires turning townies into vampires (I read about that problem). The problem is if your sim is good friends with the sim that is turned into a vampire you are supposed to be able to influence them to drink the stuff to cure vampirisim but when I have tried that nothing happens. The sim influences the other sim and it is almost like it falls out of queue but it doesn't. They influence, they do the animation but the points aren't taken and the sim who is influenced does not drink the the stuff to cure vampirisim. The one time the influence actually does not work.
