I had just switched to Moryrie's packages about a month or two before she stopped making them. She took out the crappiest cc and included some fixes. It's probably worth still using her stuff up to when she stopped and then filling up with the latest sims3packs you want to use.
Jezzer has made some fixes for counters that work with decrapped sims3packs as well as packages - there's an issue that stops some of the corner counters from taking a redesign. (Jezzer's fixes were included with Skadi's torrent but there should also be links in this thread.)

The test Awesomemod is breaking stage setup. When you buy props with AM installed, the house isn't billed. This is probably because of the setting that makes it so that clicking buy/build opens buy/build for the community lot.
When the game calls for buy mode to open to set up a stage, it's drawing from the family funds. When the game calls for buy mode to open for a community lot, it's acting as if you're editing it and thus you are not charged. With Awesomemod installed, I assume it's thinking you're trying to edit it, and thus the props do not cost you any money.
I can confirm that disabling "AlwaysBuildBuyHere" does NOT fix this, however. All I know is removing awesomemod = buying props cost money, adding awesomemod = buying props is completely free.
For what it's worth.

Partly, although I was also thinking about different makes and how latency can vary and so on. I prefer to buy RAM in a batch, I've had problems before. There are apps to check your RAM if you want to be sure.

Silencing the phone does not stop calls for quests, the quests just pop up instead.
Yeah. I don't want to turn opportunities off altogether because sometimes there is the odd one that fits with my game plan.

Do EAxis really still think their main player base is <12?
So I can run round collecting badges and then twat and Bookface these badges? I can spam my friends' games, WHILE THEY ARE ACTUALLY PLAYING? My 'friends' would disown me if I did something so pathetically retarded, and they would be quite correct to do so.
If only Anonymous did work for hire. I would ask them to knock the owners of the TS3 tweets and Bookface spam off the internets for several days at a time. That'll larn 'em.

I tried it with the .world file in the MyDocs/InstalledWorlds folder and the sims and objects files in MyDocs/WorldCaches folder. I used Skadi's .world file and copied the other files from a working install of Lunar Lakes. Didn't work for me. Mind you, my files were from an installed world which was from a decrapped sims3pack, so they may not have matched Skadi's file. Although I'm pretty sure Skadi tried the same thing.

The old method still works fine. Pescado uses it, and I never bothered doing it the new way. The old way seemed easy enough for me anyway.
Ditto, etc. Never seen the reason to change; if it ain't broke, why fix it? I also hate being forced to use the juvenile 'My Documents' folder for anything, purely because I'm stubborn that way.

Chinese and Japanese have no capitalization and very rarely have spaces. Thanks, I didn't know that. You also corrected its punctuation with a comma splice. Most likely, I am often accused of splicing my commas. However, in my defence, the semi-colon is far more popular in America than elsewhere. I believe the UK is more inclined to use hyphens and I'm kind of caught between, I'm never quite sure what to do. I make no claim to be a grammar expert....

Oh FFS, it depends on what sort of game you like to play. If you are saying that you'll try it for the first time, then I suggest that you do because it adds a lot of different aspects to the game. Even you don't have it, then I'd still recommend sims 2.
Which tells the OP precisely nothing except your own preference. You write worse than an ESL. I hope like fuck English is not your first language, because if it is, you are a moron.

OK, (space after a comma) so I found the solution, I just can't minimize (my) game when it's loading (a) family or neighborhood. (space after a full stop) Only then will (it) load successfully. No. You have missed the point completely. It is not your English that is a problem here, it is because you refuse to use your shift key or your spacebar. See what I mean? I make no claim to be a grammar expert, but I can certainly point out beginner punctuation. We give ESL (English as a Second Language) people a bit of leeway for grammar and spelling here, but we are smart enough to know that every language has punctuation. You are just being lazy and using text speak. Don't.
