I agree. I was so lost and my business suck. You can make them wear any custom clothings for uniforms. And I love that idea.

Oh, I love it that any custom objects can be placed in shops for selling but despite my "basic sell", haven't managed to sell a single cc yet...

I was actually (horror of horrors) contemplating the prima guide when I was lost playing the game earlier. but then I thought heck, i didn't have a godamn guide for doom3, gta and civ4...so no guide for me! I will figure it out by myself, volia.

I am going to take a look and I certainly didn't know that JM said the hood limit has increased (yeah, I am glad I know now! )
In that case, my hood should be ok although a few lots are cranky. But I shall check out those threads and be prepared for the time when I need to use them 

Thanks for replying. I know how to delete character files properly using SIMPE but my problem is with the memories which then become corrupt.
With that plug in, things should be ok. I sure hope that plug in will be OFB compatible! 

ETA:  i should wait for them to test run SIMPE first as well
I decide to fix all my hood issues one time after installing OFB.

Ok basically I got this legacy challenge going on in my old strangetown neighbourhood, 537 files.
I need I am near dangerzone of exploding hood and getting bitsy parnoid I cannot finish my 10 generation before the hood explode.
If I delete some townies using simpe and also use this plug in to remove all my simmies' memories of them, will this help as a band aid?
I decide i cannot move this neighbourhood. There are too many sims and I just want a quick bandaid to tide things over till the end.

I have a few corrupted lots but I managed to save the pesky sims by moving lots and demolishing the old one.

So how? Any suggestions and ideas on if my above quick fix is ok? Thanks so much! 

Capapults were useless in 3 but very powerful in 4. you need them to break down the cultural bonus of the cities.
I am playing at noble or monarch. I haven't win at Monarch yet though. Should really try.

Mine is the Saladin. Very powerful combination as well as the Chinese. I love the chinese.

which level are you playing?
They attack you because they think you are weak. If you are constantly producing those unit, why not bring ur ass to their land and quash them first? they can't take you with 2. not with ur cultural bonus. I think your strategy is somewhat screwed. Must read the forums posts for tips.

Civ 4 combat is so different compared to Civ3. Give me my stack of doom, baby! But Its more realistic and challenging now.
Yeah, w/o those patches, the game is shit. but I been hooking myself with Sims 2 and havent got back to Civ4.
When I got Civ4, I was so mad and obsessed that I took leave from work to play ...hahhaha.

I think Civ4 is so challenging. My other half plays at Deity level. can you believe that?I could never reach there....in a million years.

Darn, with OFB, my files will be at 550 (est). Its a old neighbourhood. Some of my houses are already cranky with the jump bug and frozen sims not moving while their TV moves and radio plays (don't even know what stupid bug that is ...)

2 quick questions: I am too lazy to read thr that super long thread on character files again (took me 2 hours the other time)

1. What is the danger zone for neighbourhood? Is the mark 500 or 800? I cannot rem and I need to know before OFB.
2. What the purpose of deleting the file, groups cache? Should I delte it? I know it helps for something but I cannot rem now and it seems to regnerate the file if you delete it.

For her computer, I use it to extend a housing loan to sims who cannot afford my cc for their houses. I don't cheat . I hate cheating in the game. I make them pay back the $ later.
I also do online shopping. I hate to go to lots to browse. Its bad enough to do it in RL not to mention in game.I hate shopping.
And I use it to change stupid party guests to whatever outfit I want them to be in. Now, I cannot imagne living without that.

Oh, and TSR has been recruiting crap FAs lately . They are churning them out like a mass product factory. Like one a day and what's most iritating is that Some of them are only doing recolors. They don't even make their own meshes. and you recruit these people to be FAs...sheesh. I feel unjustified for the mesh makers and those meshes are free, FOC at no charge!

I feel so annoyed that I am not going to sub to TSR anymore. Besides my dl folder is bulging.

I am so looking forward to that damn cc warning window from EA warning about enabling or disabling custom content.I cannot rem how I got rid of that window the other time. But I expect it to appear again this time round.

Come to think of it, the windowmight have disappeared after I checked "enable Custom content" a few times.

BTW,I cannot imagine how I am going to live without Monique's computer. I have a feeling that wil goof up the game.

After you guys get OFB, how are you going about it?

1. Backup existing folder, then install with the hacks/ careers blah blah in downloads folder. and be philosophical if it doesn't start right? Before restoring backup and reinstall without download folder?

2. Take out download folder and install OFB. Put downloads one batch at a time into the game.

I am risk taker. I am going for option 1. How about u? just curious.
I don't have that much time to play with option2.

Most people said careers might be the screwy one. How much truth is there in that?

Sunair churns out more than 800 items after 3 months of being FA. I wonder how can one gal do that. Unless she doesn't study or have a job but she doesn't operate paysite so she is not peggy sims.

well, if they package the booster packs next time like EP where we got to have a serial number and to use the CD to play, perhaps there will be less pirating. To be honest, I am a bit surprised that the holiday pack didn't come with a serial number and requires the disc to play. Anyone have any idea why?

btw, if you don't buy the holiday pack, you won't get the new behaviors such as the peeing santa , the lamb and the sparklers - which is why people buy the holiday pack.

and  I wonder how sales of the holiday pack are. I didn't spot any info on that.
