From my experience Awesome Jealousy only applies to engaged or higher.

From my experience this is because the riverview.world has corrupted. Try using some of the alternate methods of installing riverview. You may also need to decrapify your savegame in order to get it going again.

Maybe it's the same type of portal corruption that happens to the criminal warehouse.

Try having a read of the threads here, there is a specific one for patching, installing .sims3pack issues and a really good simple framework guide.

Or you could just try Decrapify-ing your .sims3packs to see if that fixes the issues.
