I got carried away in this particular topic ( http://www.moreawesomethanyou.com/smf/index.php/topic,19367.0.html ), but I'll detail the problem here. Right, so I installed The Sims 3 Razor version, World adventures - reloaded, Ambitions - vitality and Late Night - reloaded. Installation went perfectly, I encountered no issues. However, I first tried to play the game with my old custom content (hairs, clothes, stuff like that) and saved games in place, but the game crashed while loading one of my saves. I thought it was because of my custom content, so I deleted the Sims 3 folder in My documents, and tried to start a new game, but the game crashed yet again while loading the neighbourhood. And this doesn't happen just with Bridgeport, it happens with the other neighbourhoods as well. I reinstalled Late Night, but nothing has changed. Any ideas as to what might be causing this? Thanks in advance! Where do you keep your mod/package files? In My Docs or in the game folder? |

Okay, progress! http://forums.thesimsresource.com/showthread.php?t=386736Okay, so my game starts. I get the launcher. No problems, so I try to start it. BAM. Motherfucking warning. No valid disk. What do I do? I look for Twallans No-CD mod. Nothing. Try Awesomemod. Nothing. So I guess I'm back to square one. I got rid of the launching problem by removing both Ambitions and FLS, but now I can't start the game. Any suggestions? Er... don't use the motherfucking launcher, perhaps? How do you suggest I go around the launcher? By launching an .exe file on a Mac? Yes. O RLY? Please explain how. |

I really do have to wonder why the posts I'm making that give information on things are being removed. I guess nobody wants to know that peak hours revolve around happy hour, or that the cheat you use to edit apartment buildings doesn't work for everyone and there's an alternative. Somehow those aren't worth mentioning?
Perhaps if you weren't so unreliavole you wouldn't be having this problem. SEARCH MOAR. |

My biggest issue is with the new Community Lot sizes. Fuck you EAxis, where the fuck am I supposed to put them outside of craptastic Bridgeport? Hmmm? The biggest lot in Sunset Valley is 60x60 - the movie lot is 64x64. With all the rabbitholes and community lots, I am having a hard time getting leftover lots to live in.
Also - Bridgeport library doesn't have skilling bookshelves on the lower floor, never bothered looking upstairs.

Something in there, a fan maybe, just goes crazy when I'm running CAW. As if I'm playing a taxing video game and all my computer's resources are dedicated to it. Any idea why or how to stop it?
No shit sherlock. It is graphically intensive and trying to hog all your resources. Get moar cooling or live with it. |

If I intended to use the word piece but wrote peace, that would be a homonym error. However, I intended to use the word peace and I wrote the word peace. Therefore I did not make a homonym error. I used the correct word, with the correct spelling, for my intended purpose. Why is that such a difficult concept to understand?

Here's the think about Claeric and his sense of humour. I would have thought he was joking or being sarcastic when he asked for a mod that would allow his sim to have sex with his adopted son - taking the mickey out of all the people squealing for inteen and incest mods. But that wasn't a joke, and his misogyny has spilled into posts previously. But I'm sure this latest post is just more of his hilarious sense of humour that is over our heads.  |

Well, I DO have AMB. I had WA before, but I had to uninstall it because of A STUPID LAUNCHER BUG (this was before I knew about MATY and MTS and how the launcher is evil), and I was unable to reinstall it.
Well it's a good thing you have to reinstall TS3 again, so install WA and stop bleating about it. For that matter, just follow your avatar and STFU. |
