- I understand it doesn't have many furnishings, so as to keep the price down, but you might add a touch of colour or point of interest in each area, it's a little bland over all.
- The routing looks good just from the pictures, except where the dining table is right between the back door and the downstairs corridor access. I would have probably made the area where you have the fire and armchairs into a dining space, with the main lounge opening off the front door.
- The rooms still seem quite large to me.
- I'm not sure why the front left-side windows are out of alignment, it looks a little odd if you're aiming for realism.
- I like the way the stairs are done, breaking them up is much better than the full flight, so far as looks go.
- When building, I usually find it's a good idea to build on a 20x20 or 20x30, because in TS3 people can put a house on a larger section but not on a smaller one.
- The foliage outside is nicely done, but you could probably get away with fewer plants and maybe use the extra $$ to put some plants inside.
- The downstairs bathroom should have a window.
Hope you were serious about asking for criticism, because despite mine this is still a great family house with growth potential. I'm just a little puzzled at the price, it seems excessive. Must be the two full bathrooms.

I just cut and pasted a screenfull to the downloads folder. Decrapped them and installed. Next time I tried 2 screensfull, waited to see if it choked then tried 3 screensfull, rinse repeat. It wasn't hard to figure out. (I ALWAYS keep a backup of an entire clean set of vanilla packs).
My old machine could do 3 screensfull, my new one gobbles the lot in one whizzy bite. (I had to try).

Personally I prefer AMD since it's cheaper, it has better support for 3 monitors, and you can future proof it in a sense by getting an identical card in a few years time and crossfiring it.
AMD does not require an identical card, just one that's close. This is the main reason I went AMD not nvidia.

Sometimes when I add lights, they wont work. As is, they provide no light at all. No changes to brightness/color/etc, or even turning them off and on again, will fix it. The only way I've found to fix them is turning black light on and off. This may just be an EAxis bug/fault, and totally unrelated, however. I often get this and the fix you have suggested is the only one I've found to work. Another suggestion I had, if it isn't too much trouble, is to add hunting to the Supreme Commander for pets. That's pretty much all I do with the pets usually, and it would be nice to be able to automate it. Any cat I've had with the hunting trait has trained itself. Is that what you mean?

Doubleposting so it will show up as new. This is Woozlebury Mews with an extra storey and a garden of sorts. Now worth §179,906 furnished and §98,068 unfurnished it is on a slightly larger lot - 30x30. I am playing in the new desert world so the flora reflects this. The extra floor adds a teens' room with a bathroom, and a butler's room with an en-suite. The garden has a tree-house and hopscotch for kids along with a pool and hot tub. The backyard garden is fenced. The house really needs better lighting out front. If you see a white animated arrow when you're in build or buy modes, it's because I set the front of the lot manually.

I have all arred EPs. A little wizard popped up and asked if I wanted to be guided through placing the Showtime lots. I said yes, out of curiosity. The first two lots I was offered, starting with the largest and working down, had no available lot I could find to place them on. So I cancelled out. The Pets equestrian stuff I had to place myself, but the adoption household established itself fine. Otherwise I had to place stylist/tattooist, consignment store and junkyard. Can't remember if the pictures lot was there or if I placed it.
All the lots should be available on the community lots tab in edit town.

Every time my sims go abroad, their silenced phones are unset. When they come home again, the phones need to be silenced once more. This happened in France and Egypt, travelling from the new desert world.

I used to do exactly this on my old machine and I found it worked fine. My files then were around 250MB each. With the new machine the dbc files are about 1.2GB which tends to bear out my theory that the quality of the hardware has a significant effect on the process.
It also pays to link to the latest launcher. I don't use the launcher to start my game and it can be easy to leave a link to the old launcher on the desktop. Lately I have remembered to point the shortcut to the most recent launcher and have found it increases stability.
If you install the store content without the game running, they will be limited to 250Mb each (in my experience) or if you install via launcher with the game running (quicker this way) the files will end up larger, as the game tends to try to put everything into a single .dbc, but maybe the install process is more reliable this way? No idea why there is a difference in each process. I have never installed content with the game running, I wasn't aware you could. The sole difference for me was the two different machines.

That's impossible to do, the launcher quickly become unstable if there's too many files. I dread to imagine installing the whole store like that, it would be a nightmare - and take days! Plus you won't be able to fix the categories of the stuff easily and if you want to remove an item you're good for a one hour search in the looooong list the launcher spouts. It's a fucking piece of shit, I use it only to install stuff that really needs it.
With my new machine I did the entire store contents to date in one hit. So I suspect the process is somewhat dependant on the hardware available. It took about 10 minutes. I did find that the Launcher started "skipping" files when I installed too many at a time (because, as you noted, it is a fucking piece of shit); when I started installing things in 200mb chunks, a number I chose rather arbitrarily because it's just a bit smaller than the average file in my DCCache, it was smooth sailing.
