WOAH I'M TRIPPIN' BALLS DUDE

It DOES vibrate a wee bit, doesn't it?
Not for me. I can't do those magic eye pictures, either.

I can't do those magic eye pictures either, I think it is because I had surgery on my eyes when I was younger.   This one seems to move a little bit, but I don't know how much everyone else is seeing.

this is awesome >.<

Cool contribution, thanks for stopping by.

I have rewritten the entire mass of spaghetti for the next version, so perhaps that bug will stop now. It was almost certainly part of the EAxian spaghetti code, as the original code was kind of a mess.

Awesome, even though it wasn't a terrible glitch for a legacy.  He was making great money til I had him retire.  It was just impossible to get his skills and relationships up and I kept getting job performance reminders.  Do you actually get demoted for not improving after awhile?

28  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: Sim advances four levels in career because he is lucky? on: 2009 July 12, 06:35:23
No, I swear I have the most current version.  I check almost everyday for updates!  I also did not switch households because it is a legacy and it is not allowed.  I am banking on a glitch, it just seemed strange to go that far ahead so I thought maybe it was a luck thing.
29  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Sim advances four levels in career because he is lucky? on: 2009 July 11, 15:24:26
I just had my legacy founder advance from level five in the military career to level nine all in one day.  He went to work and about ten sim minutes later, I got notice that he had made six dollars that day and he was on his way home.  When I looked at his job panel, everything was in the red because he was so far ahead in the job and didn't have the skills or the relationship with the boss.  Did this happen because it was his "lucky day"?  Or was it something else?  I also think that the same day, his ex-wife in the same career did the same thing, but I could be wrong because her skills weren't as far behind.  I ended up having my founder retire (which sucks cause they have little money) because they had three toddlers and a child running the household and he had no time to skill.
30  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: TS3 - Anyone see a child skill building hack? on: 2009 June 26, 22:11:08
I will say that I think that the game takes some of the skilling into account.  I had a boy age up to teen and he was overweight.  My game crashed shortly after and I hadn't saved, so when I loaded the game back up he was a kid again. This time I had him exercise instead of video games or tv and he grew up into a slim body weight.  Unless that is decided randomly, I think there is something there that we just don't see.
31  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: Patch released. on: 2009 June 26, 21:10:55
This is probably a dumb question but do I need the patch for the current build of awesomemod to work?  I really don't feel like dealing with shitty EAxis patches if I don't really need to at the moment.  Awesomemod seems to fix everything I have an issue with and this patch doesn't really do anything for me.
32  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: The Legacy Challenge for TS3 on: 2009 June 22, 00:04:44
I started in Riverview, and I am already slightly regretting it because of the lack of parks and other sociable areas.  There are like tiny parks that seem like alleyways, but there just isn't much to them.  It is easy to fish though, as that river goes all over the place.

When I my founder met his future wife, he went to her house and had the option to ask if he could stay over.  Is this allowed?  She had a pretty nice house, he made food without losing money, and he had a nice bed to sleep in.

Also, what is the rule on the birthday cake--you can age up whenever you want, which could help if you don't want to deal with a baby or even a toddler (since they don't have memories, it's not a huge deal if they learn to walk or talk).

Zazazu, I wish I had thought better about my starting traits, yours obviously work out really great!  My first heir was born with the trait Loves the Outdoors and I laughed due to the fact that they were still living on the lawn.  However, that was more due to my laziness then anything else.
33  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: Playing The Horror with a dual core processor on: 2009 June 20, 15:33:35
No. The reason THAT happens is because the game is snarfing entries from the library and cloning them into your neighborhood. We're working on preventing that.

Awesome, because I just found a complete clone family living in a house pretty much down the road from the original.  I thought I had deleted the family out of the library in time, but obviously not.  The little girl was riding her bike home and passed her clone also riding her bike.  Very strange.
34  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: The whole thing is becoming a big pain in the $%% on: 2009 June 10, 23:26:29
I don't understand what is so hard about it all anyway.  I also have the sims on its own drive, with no internet connection, and I managed to get everything from the store, including Riverview, into my game- all by myself!  I also managed to get the arr version there too.  Download the things on your drive with internet connection(search here and ye shall find!) and then put them on the other drive.  Presto!
35  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: Kids and Toddlers on: 2009 June 10, 22:06:09
I haven't bought a playtable yet.  It's a relief to know there's something they can do together that actually works.  And the toybox thing, which I haven't tried yet since it's more trouble than it's worth, at times.  Route failure all around - and nothings in the way.

The playtable isn't one hundred percent working though, unless the crayons and paper are just decoration.  Or my game is jacked up.  I also had a semi deformed toddler from the playtable while she was playing with the blocks.  Her arms were stretched out and she was very far away from the table.
36  Awesomeware / AwesomeMod! / Re: AWESOMEMOD & SCRIPT HACKS: CRASH ISSUES THREAD on: 2009 June 07, 23:58:47
IIRC, you are putting it in the wrong place.  I doesn't go under my documents---->Electronic Arts, it goes under my computer---->Electronic Arts.  It is all explained in the rtfm.

I'm so sorry for all my confusion, I'm very technologically challenged. When I click on Computer-->The Sims 3, it brings me to the files that are on my disc. Are you saying I need to burn the files to the disc? When I try pasting the files there that's the only option I get.

I mean the program files under my computer not the files on the disc.  You just drag and drop.  If you open the manual, it says the exact place you need to put them.

38  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: OK, so why would I want this mess? on: 2009 May 31, 23:18:58
Well in regards to the sims having the creepiest eyes ever, I will say that about a week ago, I had a pretty scary dream in which the "bad guy" in it had eyes just like in TS3.  I haven't been that enthused to play the game since then.
39  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: THE HORROR: The REAL TS3 Scoop As It Unfolds on: 2009 May 27, 21:19:49
Ok, I am hoping this hasn't been mentioned as it is so hard to even get this thread open.  My sim kid was riding her bike home from the park last night and, on the way home, guess who she passed?  Herself on a bike!  Undecided I followed the clone for a bit but then lost her at a steep hill I thought she would be coming over.  What is the deal with this?  VBT? Is this because of the whole place a copy of a family thing while the real one sits in the sim bin thing?  Not too cool to have two of the same sims residing in the same town.  I really hope the clone isn't living in another house and I just haven't found her yet.

Has this happened to anyone else?
40  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: THE HORROR: The REAL TS3 Scoop As It Unfolds on: 2009 May 23, 03:30:53
I finally decided to join all the fun and download this game to see what it was like.

I have to say, it looks nice but I just spent about five hours of RL time playing the same sim and she hasn't made too much progress.  She is in a relationship with some guy named Xavier who has commitment issues.  I am not sure if this is a bug but everytime he rejects one of her romantic actions, they all fail afterwards (even very basic ones) and I just have to say goodbye to him.  They have woohooed three times, she is currently preggers by him, but I have a feeling she is going to be a single parent the way things are going.

The seamless town is cool, I haven't really explored it enough yet for it to be any different then hanging out at a single lot in TS2.

I am probably alone on this but the whole designing my own things is really overwhelming.  I think I am the type of person that likes what is available to be right in front of my eyes.  I got a bit tired of designing every little thing because the defaults suck.  Themed wallpapers are terrible!  I felt like I was in the seventies while looking through the majority of them.

I think I will enjoy it once I get into it more, but it made me miss TS2!
41  TS2: Burnination / Oops! You Broke It! / Re: Former apartment inhabitants WILL NOT LEAVE. on: 2009 March 04, 02:06:34
If they are reading in the hammock, they might be stuck there.  I have had many sims freeze in a position of reading a book, and if it is a playable lot, I have to quit without saving, and if it is a community lot, delete.
42  TS2: Burnination / Oops! You Broke It! / Re: Toddler disappearance on: 2008 December 28, 04:02:27
I was probably not in advanced mode.  I am not really sure how to get into that mode anyway lol.  But I think I solved the problem, I just nuked the memories of the sims that met the toddler, which was only like four and another toddler and everything seems to be ok.  It messed up one sim because she was married and he had the memories and she didn't (at least that is what I am assuming).  They both just kept spinning around so I killed her by flies and everything is back to normal.  Hopefully everything will stay ok lol.
43  TS2: Burnination / Oops! You Broke It! / Re: Toddler disappearance on: 2008 December 27, 20:38:44
You'll have to purge the memories. I'd try the lot debugger first, in case it can take care of them for you, but you may need to do it in SimPE.

This may be dumb but when I looked in SimPE, I had no idea how to go about doing anything at all with the memories.  They just said invisible, nothing named.  How do I go about doing it in simPE?
44  TS2: Burnination / Oops! You Broke It! / Re: Toddler disappearance on: 2008 December 27, 05:57:02
If that happens, I am going to be so pissed.  There are only about three families living in this town right now.  I just got all of the businesses owned and staffed too.  I don't have all that much CC, I am not a huge fan of it and when I got this new comp over the summer, I went through all of it and cut it down to the basics.  The defraging took a bit so maybe that had something to do with it.

***Edited to add:  The toddler is officially gone, there is no record of her in SimPE.  Now what does that mean about the other family member's memories?  Is this the beginning of the end?  Undecided
45  TS2: Burnination / Oops! You Broke It! / Re: Toddler disappearance on: 2008 December 27, 05:50:36
Ok, I will try out simPE again.  I just defragged the hard drive that the sims is on, so once I sign back on to it, I will try that out.  If I do find the toddler, what do I do about the memories?  Should I just get rid of them through simPE?
46  TS2: Burnination / Oops! You Broke It! / Toddler disappearance on: 2008 December 27, 03:54:58
I am really hoping this is not a VBT thing because I just started a new neighborhood and have just gotten everything situated.  Here goes...

My game froze while in the process of saving, so I ended the process and then reloaded the game.  I went back into the family that froze and now the most recent toddler is missing.  They all have memories of the toddler but now it says $subject instead of the kid's name.  Is there anything I can do to get the toddler back?  SimPE isn't loading, but I think that has more to do with my computer which is acting strange as well.  Is this going to cause my neighborhood to explode?
47  TS2: Burnination / Oops! You Broke It! / Re: Kitchen building question on: 2008 December 02, 19:35:06
I have had that problem before and it ended up being a kickybag stuck underneath it.  I think it was the same thought bubble too, but I haven't seen it in a while as I have gotten a hack to eliminate it.
48  TS2: Burnination / Oops! You Broke It! / Re: M&G, some object makes Headmaster jump. on: 2008 November 26, 00:44:12
It would probably be more helpful if you singled it out to one ceiling fan instead of saying you can't be bothered with it.  That is not going to get a good response from the people here.  They will not do your work for you.
49  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Children witches/warlocks on: 2008 October 22, 17:57:37
Oh turning a sim into a penguin would be so funny.  It would be good if they got better too, it could be like a threat or just for fun.

They are great! You are really good at this!

Thanks. glad you like them.  Hopefully they come to good use!   Wink
